Worst experience ever. I asked for a full set of acrylics and he only put the acrylic tips on 4 fingers after I repeatedly asked him to do the tips normally, on all fingers. The service here was so bad that i downloaded yelp just to post this reviIf I could give them a 0 star review I actually would. Will not be going back there to those rude workers again. A few were nice but still would not recommend going there again. They do whatever they want even if it's not what you want. Having recently relocated here from CA, I was in search of a new salon for a dipping powder fill. After my last two positive experiences here, yesterday I made an appointment and saw Kevin, who said no more than 5 words to me and made me feel as if I was a burden. I look forward to getting my nails done as a happy, relaxing escape once every three weeks. I get excited about picking my color, choosing a glitter or unique design, and yesterday was particularly special as I had an important job interview. From the minute I got there, early for my appointment, Kevin seemed rushed. I tried to describe what I wanted and showed a picture, to which Kevin replied they didn't have that and didn't offer any suggestions. (I was looking for gold glitter over white polish). The quality of the work is good, and the no chip manicure lasts, which is why I returned here. Kevin's wife had been pleasant to me my first trip, telling me all about the new types of polishes and designs so I was hopeful this could be my new salon. But after my experience yesterday, I will be looking for a new place to go where my ideas are supported now shut down. Disappointing for a place that advertises nail design on their site. read more

Definitely not my favorite nail place. I met up with a couple of friends there and was running a little late due to not being local and having a hard time finding the place. When I got in they were already seated for their pedicures and had started, which was fine. There was only one other person there (which should have been a sign on a Saturday late morning) I picked my color and sat down. Just as I feared, I was the last one there and the first one done. The pedicure was rushed and sub-par. My nails were barely filed, my feet hardy exfoliated, and the massage was pretty much nonexistent. The result was okay. I'm just super underwhelmed with the service. The place was kind of run down and dirty looking too, there were cobwebs on the dryers and the whole thing looked a little dusty and dirty. I don't think I'll be coming back, there are a million nail places in Schaumburg and I'm sure I can find a better one. read more

First, be prepared to spend some time here...they are thorough, precise and take their time. You do get a chance to chill here! They have an extensive menu of pedicures (I had the tropical paradise)! Stopped in to get a mani-pedi before my cousin in law's wedding and was very happy with the service. The girl that did my nails was very nice and gentle with my cuticles. Walked in today at 5pm right before closing and they were more than happy to still take me in. I was worried that they would have rushed... but not at all! They did an amazing job on my pedicure (basic) and no chip manicure. For the price I paid it was really worth it. The salon has been remodeled looks gorgeous and very clean inside. I went to Relax Nails for a pedicure and in the months to follow, a wart grew under my big toe nail. I did not visit any other nail shop in that time so it is evident that the wart virus was transferred to my body from the nail shop. If it was in a location other than under my toe nail, I would consider the possibility of contracting the virus anywhere. But because if it's location, I know that Relax Nails is the cause of this. I tried contacting the business to discuss the matter and they were very unprofessional. Disregarding my many messages and blatantly ignoring me. Went to get my gel nails done. Was pretty fast and quick way to do gel. After 1 1/2 weeks the color was already discoloring, some of my nails were starting to hurt , I cut them short to help the pain but it was still hurting. I went in again to get them off but the lady in the front said yea I'll take them off for $10 and said it wasn't there fault. That they always do a disclaimer that the white nail polish does discoloring after 1 1/2 weeks. I was not told this when I got them done. I shouldn't pay to remove nails that hurt. Don't get gel nails here. People are rude here too. read more

Absolutely awful!!!! Do not go here! All the nail polish is old and thick. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and went home, after 4 hours my nails were still sticky and tacky. I called right away and they said to come back the next morning. They redid my polish and the same thing happened. It has been 5 hours and they are still tacky. I went back to talk to them and the owner refused to give me a refund. He said my nails were dry. I said (and showed him) that they were still tacky. I said there was no way I could shower or dig in my purse without them messing up. He said thats how it is, and to just be careful. He said to come in and they will redo them. I said I had a wedding to go to tomorrow and did not have time to come in again. Nor did I want to "try this again." Poor service! Unacceptional! Do not go to this place! Awful nail salon! read more

On Tuesday I went for a manicure and pedicure. The quality of work and the cleanliness of the shop was most impressive. I was in and out within one hour (without an appt.) and felt like a new person. There was a Mother and Daughter (58 years old and 97 years old) sitting next to me. They had been there before and were treated like queens. I can understand why they returned two weeks later to be pampered. In this competitive business climate, it is wonderful to have a local business that cares about their clients. I have been having fills and pedicures for longer than I care to admit and I must say this was some of the best treatment I've had. I would not recommend anyone this place. The owner itself does the horrible job she doesn't do what the client asks for. I think they only care how much money they going to make most of the people are rude. I got my nail done and it looked like it was 2 weeks of growth and she used old gel polish which came of on top.
