I have used reliable auto glass a few times now and have not had any issues until this time that i had the windshield replaced in my Acura. when i originally scheduled the appointment the woman on the phone told me that someone would be there from 10-3. I waited patiently and at 330 when they did not show up i called them to see what was going on. She proceeded to tell me that the technician that was going to be performing the Repair, the service vehicle broke down, I understand things happen and was not upset about it at all and she rescheduled me for the next day. The technician did end up showing up the next day and apologized for the delay and told me that my order was "miss placed", something completely different than what the woman on the phone had told me, at this point i just want the window changed and said whatever and he started the repair. I asked if he was going to change the clips out on the side moldings on the window as they break 90% of the time when you pull them off, he said he would look into it and he had been doing glass service for a long time and could probably save them. The repair was done and the tech told me the usual, wait X amount of time to roll up the windows and X amount of time to Wash the car. I Noticed that the top Rubber piece on the top of the window was bunched up/wavy, i asked the tech about it and he said to let it sit in the sun for a few hrs and it will go flat and back to normal. On my way home that day driving on the freeway, sure enough the side moldings on the driver side came loose making noise. When i got home i looked and found that the clips were indeed broken and were not replaced like i asked. I called Reliable the next day and said that the earliest they could get a tech out was 5 days out, Being very upset that the work was not done the first time correctly and not wanting to get into it with the woman over the phone i said ok and to please let me know when they could send someone out. 5 days go by and a tech finally shows up. At the time he showed up the Molding did get worse and the lower Cowl vent also had a big air gap in it where all the clips were broken in it as well. The tech made notes of what needed to be changed and said he would have to order them up. I later received a call and they said the parts were on order and would take another 2-3 days to get. They finally get the parts in and schedule a time for a tech to come out and install them. The Tech does come out, does install them and everything looks OK at the time. While that tech was there i asked about the Top Molding that still had not Layed flat and was still Bunched up/Wavy and his response was that it could take up to 3 weeks for it to lay flat. I laughed out loud . Being frustrated that i already had to wait this long to get the moldings fixed i just said whatever with it and whatever with this company and let him leave. Here is it 2 months later and the same moldings are giving me issues again and the Top Molding that he said would lay down never did. Not wanting to deal with Reliable Glass again i took it to a different company and they showed me the cowl vent was Broken in multiple spots so they could not have install new clips and the top molding was "defective" and would never lay flat as it was glued in and was going to keep the shape of how it was glued in. Needless to Say after replacing the Windshield, the Top Molding, Both Side Moldings and the Cowl Vent it all looks good and should last. The Big part that really bothers me is I specifically asked them to change the clips and they did not, It should not have taken multiple trips, the tech told me he saved them all when he really didn't and that the tech story and the woman i talked to story were completely Different. I will NOT be using Reliable Glass again and will not be recommending them to anyone. Be Aware, double check there work if you do decide to use them. read more

I received excellent service from Reliable Glass. I called the day before Thanksgiving and scheduled an appointment for a windshield replacement for the day after Thanksgiving. Customer service on the phone was excellent - polite, efficient, and informative. Since this was an insurance covered replacement, the scheduler needed to contact my insurance company for approval. She did this while I was on the phone and took a few minutes. On the day of the service the technician called me in the morning to provide a 2 hour window. The technician (Lawrence) arrived near the beginning of the 2 hour window and completed the job in about 40 minutes. He was professional, friendly and cleaned up before leaving. Absolutely OUTSTANDING service from start to finish. Kayla was my first contact and she handled coordination with my insurance company getting approval from them immediately. Next step was my choice of when and where the windshield would be replaced within a 4 hour window and was told to expect a call from the tech to fine tune the times. Sure enough, Gary called with a 2 hour window and, right on time, installed the new windshield very efficiently and quickly. I got a thorough run down of what to do or not do for the next 48 hours, signed the receipt and he was on his way. I had a crack on windshield that spread, so after careful consideration and reading many, many reviews, I called Reliable, confident that they would come out and do a great job. The customer service person was very friendly and helpful, got me scheduled for a Saturday appointment, and I was off the phone in just a few minutes. Saturday morning, the technician called to let me know I was his second appointment. He called again to let me know he was on his way - this was all before 7:45 a.m. To this point, they had already exceeded my expectations. But wait. Once the technician was settled in and working, I stepped back inside to get him some cold water and answer a call. When I returned, he had the old windshield out and the new one 90% installed. I immediately noticed a a very noticeable chip in the new windshield, on the side edge of the glass on the driver's side. When I mentioned it, the tech tried to downplay it and said he promised the chip wouldn't spread. I'm not sure what that had to do with the principle that I had just paid for a NEW windshield, so it should not come damaged. He tried the "if it spreads we'll come back out" tactic not once, but twice, before he told me that if I wanted them to replace the damaged "NEW" windshield I would have to wait a week for them to come back out. The issue I have with this situation is that, while the tech was polite, I do not see how there's any way he didn't know the replacement glass was damaged. It was either put on the truck that way or he damaged it during installation. Either way, if I could see it (as someone who does not look at glass for a living), there's no way he didn't. That he installed the windshield ANYWAY infuriates me. It is extremely dishonest behavior. He should have let me know either BEFORE gluing in the glass or as soon as I came out (if he damaged it during install). He should have immediately offered a replacement and explained to me WHY it would be a week before such a replacement could happen. (Apparently because of the glue that is used) And since it was their mistake that is causing me to have to put aside my plans for a SECOND Saturday, they should have offered some kind of consideration for my time and inconvenience. None of these things have happened. I still have a cracked "new" windshield and am waiting for resolution. I am hoping to be able to update this review with a happier ending. We'll see. read more

Called and with VIN and insurance info got a next day appointment. While on the phone they conferenced in my insurance for the okay on payment. And actually the insurance person was the only stumbling block in the whole process, the Reliable person knew their job but the insurance person stumbled over their script, did not listen asking me how big the crack was immediately after I said I had an 8" crack in the windshield and was not as professional. The techs arrived on time had the windshield replaced in about 30 minutes. Gave a great explanation of how to treat the car, windows down, don't slam doors, keep windows down a bit with AC on etc... I've been through 2 big rain storms now at freeway speeds, through a couple car washes and no leaks. All OEM grade replacement parts and no money out of pocket with my glass replacement insurance. read more

I am an extremely detailed person by nature. Now that I'm also retired, I have the additional time to research and check out the credentials and reviews of a company's past customers before deciding upon which company will do the work for me -- whether it's for my home or my car. That being said, I spent several days looking for the right company to replace the windshield of my Mercedes Benz SLK 350. Because this is my "baby," so to speak, I didn't want just anyone doing this work. I had to find a company that met all of the criteria for my very stringent review. Once I had pared the list down to only five companies, I looked at each of these companies' "Yelp" reviews and made note of those that had the greatest number of positive reviews and the least number of negative reviews. I also checked their Better Business Bureau (BBB) listings (putting greater emphasis on those businesses that had been accredited by the BBB, and those that did not have any complaints recorded in the last 36 months). In addition, I carefully reviewed each of these companies' web sites to try to get a feel for their workmanship, their business goals, their customer relations, and their product and workmanship warranties. Then, I called all five of these companies to ask them additional questions, such as whether they would be using only OEM-equivalent products, whether they would do the work at my home or in their shop, what they would charge, and other customer relationship-based questions. I place a high priority on using local (Arizona-based) companies. I strongly believe that, as long as I am not losing value by purchasing from a local company (vs. buying from a national company), then I always should do my best to support our local economy. Once I completed my due diligence, I selected the company that best fit my stringent criteria. RELIABLE GLASS met nearly every one of my criteria. From the first moment I spoke with Lisa, one of Reliable's sales associates, I had a strong feeling that Reliable Glass would be the company I would ultimately choose. Lisa was extremely professional, responsive, conscientious, and a pleasure to speak with. On top of that, she gave me the best price estimate of all of the other vendors! Unlike the four other companies I had called, she gave me a complete, "out-the-door", price. Two other companies I had called, increased their price the second time I called to verify the price. When I questioned them about that, one of them told me that the person I initially spoke with was a new employee, and the other told me that the person I spoke with reason for that, they explained that the price quote was a mistake and that the person I had spoken with was a new employee, and may have misinterpreted the information they had been given about my car. However, Lisa's price didn't change when I called back a second time to verify it, and the price quote was for a complete job, including removing the broken windshield, installing the new one, and installing the rain sensor and the frame. Also, Lisa was the only salesperson I spoke with who confirmed the price in an e-mail to me without having to ask her. Lisa and I scheduled the work at my home between 10 AM and 1 PM today (Wednesday, July 30th). The work was performed by Steve today, as scheduled. Just as Lisa had said, Steve called me this morning to be sure that I would be at home at the scheduled time, and he told me that he would call me again when he was about 30 to 45 minutes away from my home. He actually arrived earlier than I had expected. He was courteous, extremely diligent, and appeared to take a lot of pride in his work. One of the things I had been concerned about with one of the other companies I didn't choose was their mobile ("at your home" or "at your office") service. I was concerned that a company that sends someone to the customer's home or office may use sub-contractors. Unfortunately, I have previously found that many sub-contractors aren't as customer-oriented and as conscientious as company employees generally are. However, in this case, Reliable's scheduling Steve to come to my home to do the work was not a concern to me because their web site specifically states that all of their work is performed by company employees, not sub-contractors. Not only did Steve's truck have Reliable's name painted on it, but just from speaking with Steve for a few moments after he arrived, it was obvious to me that Steve was a loyal company employee. I AM TOTALLY DELIGHTED WITH THE WORK THAT STEVE PERFORMED, AND I AM EVEN MORE DELIGHTED WITH RELIABLE'S OPERATIONS, THEIR SALESPERSON, LISA, AND THE PRICE I PAID. They definitely earn their name as being "reliable", and I will never use any other company to do automotive glass work in the future! read more

I had numerous complaints from the beginning these complaints are still not resolved. The owner Greg and manager Craig try to be helpful but never resolved the issues. They had quoted one price and at the end increase the cost 500 over the estimate. I would not go back and definitely would not recommend them... I used this company based on Yelp reviews and they are the real deal. Read my reviews, I'm not someone who gives 5 stars to everyone. If I'm giving them 5 stars, pay attention. I've used them twice and they've done an amazing job. If you own luxury cars, you need to use them. I only use OEM glass (the original glass that comes with your car when you first buy it) and they have it in stock AND they magically get my insurance to cover it. When I tried other glass dealers in the area( yeah the ones you are comparing them to on Yelp), they would somehow tell me that my insurance didn't cover the OEM glass or that they didn't make that glass any longer or some other b.s. Basically, the other glass dealers didn't want to put the expensive glass on my vehicle and wanted to use their cheap glass they had in stock and lied to me about my insurance coverage. You will see a lot of that from glass guys so beware. The best part of this company is the person who you speak when you first call. The girls do a great job communicating with your insurance company and they make the transition so much easier. When I called, the lady who answered was very friendly. I gave her my VIN number and my insurance agent's number. She said she would call them and take care of everything. She did and then called me an hour later and did a 3 way with my insurance. They offer that extra piece of service. The techs came to my work and replaced the glass and did a great job. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! They have awful service and made me waste a lot of time. I called this company to replace my windshield and the girl on the phone was very efficient, conferencing me with my insurance company so we could get a claim number and they can get payment. They scheduled me for the following Tuesday, and the guy called me at around 8am and said he would be at my house between 11am and 3pm. I waited, and waited, and waited, until 3:30pm at which point I called the office back. They told me they would call me back. They called bak after half an hour and told me they didn't know what had happened to the technician or why he had called me, but that the only windshield they had for my car was damaged and they would have to order another one. HOW did he not know this at 8am when he called me? why did he not call me back to let me know he wouldn't be replacing my windshield? instead I had wasted an entire day without work because of their negligence. It took them another 2 days to come back and replace my windshield. Aside from the girl on the phone, the company offered no explanations, and no apologies. read more
