American vision windows has a super nice website and seems a lot of employees to make sure your whole process runs smoothly I thought I researched enough to make the right decision but am Very disappointed and would Not have chosen them had I known what I know now several issues and I hesitate to mention but they don't care so I'm leaving a review here to give others a heads up before working with them I ordered a sliding glass door I waited 15+ years to purchase. Finally made the decision and it all seemed good The salesman came out the end if Jan, paid 1/2 down. Sliding door installed the 1st week of April by Mother's Day, a piece fell off and can't be put back on. Contacted the salesman Monday and another person contacted me later about reattaching the piece. Was told they Can't fix it have to submit a claim to the manufacturer and wait about 3 weeks for the manufacturer to come out and reattach this piece. Wait what? The person I spoke with said. "This happens". Not only was the original installation delayed by 3 weeks now what seems like a simple repair takes 3 weeks. I would try to super glue it or something myself but I'm sure this would null the warranty I was reminded that the warranty will transfer to the next home owner. What? I don't care I'd like this fixed now. I had to ask how long it would take. This information was not offered to me other than they had to contact the manufacture. Once I asked are we looking at a day a week 6 weeks. That is when I was told 3 weeks. I'm extremely disappointed in my choice of a professional sliding glass door company and they product they installed. Glad I didn't have them do my whole house with windows. read more

He repaired all my vinyl window problems on the inside of my home and also repaired and rejuvenated the problematic window which was my concern from the get go. He made it look almost like new. Major Kudos to Robert. I wish they had sent him over on the first pass. Totally satisfied. UPDATE 12/23: I spoke to Norm at American Vision Windows. He tried to get my windows fixed 12/21/23 but I could not accommodate him on that date so we rescheduled the first week in January. With my schedule and the Holidays that is the best we could do. As soon as the work is completed I will be updating my review Old Review: My parents purchased windows from American Vision Windows in 2011. They Purchased a class of window called the Monte Verde. I have had American Vision Window Tech Jerry Hanush out to our house 2x. The same tech returned a second time and did not understand why the problem had been addressed after his first visit because he passed the service report on to management. This experience was 5 stars all the way through. Starting with the Project Manager, Dalton. He was knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. He helped us choose the window and patio door that was best for us. He explained the process and told us what to expect. The installation actually happened two weeks sooner than we expected and we were able to have them installed before the summer heat. The installation team, Nate and Colby were fantastic. Clean, courteous and as quiet as possible. Their tools made noise (they can't help that) but they spoke in soft voices and the disruption was absolutely minimal. They took an extreme amount of care during the installation and now the window and patio door look and operate perfectly, and they are perfectly sealed. They used such care that I don't even have to do touch up painting on the window trim! The new Amlin window and door are such a huge improvement. Our AC now runs much less and our house is much quieter. If you are struggling to decide, just go with American Vision Windows. You won't be disappointed. read more

I wish I could give 10 stars to this organization! Cannot recommend this company enough. We bought our windows (whole house-14 total of differing sizes) back in 2017. The sales person who came out was professional, explained everything from the ordering, the production of our windows, and the installation and the lifetime warranty. We took advantage of a special they were running and got to upgrade to triple pane windows at no additional cost. It took a few weeks from the ordering to the installation but we were continually contacted throughout the process with updates, which is something most other companies do not do. You have to call them for updates. On installation day, the guys were professional and efficient. As they got about half way through, everyone became aware that the living room window was apparently mis-measured and the window they had didn't fit in the space. They called and talked to the office, remeasured everything, and put the old window back in. The new window was reordered and it didn't take long for it to be delivered and installed. Installation was perfect with them caulking everything, wiping every down, cleaning up their mess...no complaints! Fast forward to September 2024! We have three west-facing windows that over time the sun has just eaten away the caulking. Without thinking, we asked our son-in-law to re-caulk the three windows. Big, Big, BIG mistake! One thing led to another and he screwed up the job big time! I called American Vision Windows and talked with Norm, explaining the situation. Norm was great! Can't say that enough...he listened, asked questions, and went to work to get the situation fixed for us! Robert came out and using products they use on their jobs, he was able to correct the error and create a great looking window frame again. Our warranty was adjusted due to it being our error but that lifetime coverage for the glass and mechanics stays intact. Want or need windows...give this company a chance to come out and bid. I got a quote from AMERICAN VISION WINDOWS signed a CONTRACT, waited 6 weeks in over 100° weather only for the salesman to say he made a mistake and had to charge me $1400 more because of his mismeasure. I was going to cancel but it was so hot I didn't want to wait two more months on a more honest company so I begrudgingly agreed to pay EXACTLY HALF, ($700). Then they added a $92 charge for using a debit card. If made aware ahead of time of the second hustle, I would have gotten cash. When I called to question the $92 second hustle Megan said it is in their policy to hustle people unknowingly with the NO HEADS UP ABOUT HIDDEN FEES scheme. We were referred to American vision windows through a friend who had all her windows and doors done with them. She was very pleased and they were comparable to another company we had gotten an estimate with. Our representative, Nick, was very personable and helpful. We got 1 large bedroom window and a slider door replaced. When conferring with Nick about the slider door, we discussed what to do with our existing dog door. One option was to get a door with a built in dog door. This option would be $1k more on top of the base price of the door, which would not be plausible. Nick gave us another option of a foot lock and top lock that could be locked in different positions. We told him we wanted that option. When the door was installed there was no top and foot lock on it. The installers said it was not ordered that way and was not in their paper work. I contacted Nick and he confirmed it was not ordered and stated in a phone call "that was partly on him" and we should have caught that it wasn't on the paperwork during our second appointment. To order a new door with these locks would be $1300. This on top of the almost $7k we have already paid. After a lot of back and forth they said the could do it $500. We were not willing to pay anymore money on this project when this was their fault that it wasn't ordered. It was mentioned that we should have caught the error. We are not the experts in the window world, they are. Will not be recommending this company going forward. read more

Wow, the single worst experience I have ever had, with any company, ever. Say no to American Vision and to Anlin Windows. I own several properties both residential and commercial, and I have never experienced anything even close to this bad. My house will never be the same because of American Vision Windows, and our whole life was completely disrupted for over a month and a half instead of the 3 days quoted, because of negligent mistake after negligent mistake some of which posed serious risk to my home and the wellbeing of my family, and time and time again management showed they could care less. They installed multiple warped windows into my home that were so warped they wouldn't open - and somehow did not realize this until after the fact - until after they cut out the old ones, and installed the warped ones. Both Anlin the manufacturer and American Vision Windows the installer failed to do any quality check. The Anlin Malibu sliding door they installed they are saying is fine, but it takes over 20 pounds of force to open when industry standards are around 3-8 pounds. Broken roof tiles and solar lights. Stucco job was terrible, completely uneven, crooked pop outs, big stucco gaps in some areas and then stucco all over the window frames in others and stucco. Almost 2 months later, every time I go outside, I discover something new that they got stucco all over or more trash that was left behind. Stucco all over my window frames, Door Trim, Patio Furniture, the wood slats on my gates, my shed, and more. Crooked pop outs, bent and broken window rails and this is just what I am left with after spending almost $50,000. Every time I look at the windows from the inside or the outside, I notice something new both from installation issues to manufacture defects. Bowing exterior frames immediately upon installation. Big gaps on the interior of the window between the window frame and the glass panes in the corners of the windows - can't imagine they will dampen the heat or sound with some of these gaps and the windows also have sloppy exposed silicone beads throughout. I would never buy another Anlin product or do business with American Vision - you couldn't pay me to do business with either. If you do business with them, it is very likely you will end up spending all of your spare time just to hold them accountable to do the bare minimum of what they said they would do, and even then, they have shown that they are not capable of fulfilling their commitments. It took me multiple weeks, calls with management, emails, just to get them to come back to address a dozen different issues. Like metal flashing left exposed and curled around that could easily slice my kids' feet or hands open. They left the exterior walls and stucco around my windows completely open for 3 weeks, exposed to water and pests despite multiple emails, calls, and texts. They did not add the required support under my patio door. They violated the terms of their own contract; they illegally kept my card on file and illegally charged my card $9,000 before the work was done and without my authorization. Work was started on March 12th, and supposed to be completed on March 16th. The work started on my home on March 12th as planned, but was not completed until April 11th and my house and windows are still littered with issues to this day... And after all is said and done, they will eventually reach out, admit that they did everything wrong, and then continue to do absolutely nothing about it. Trust me, pick a different company and a different product. If you don't want to go through absolute hell and spend all of your time documenting, taking pictures, calling, texting, emailing and being left with permanent issues - don't buy Anlin and don't go through American Vision Windows. read more

AVW sold us an excellent, beautiful product (Anlin windows), and their customer service was greater than a "10". The sales rep, Elias, helped create the vision that we wanted. I am writing this review to share my experience regarding the recent installation of two exterior doors at my home, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, raising several concerns that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. Firstly, during the final measurements, I had an unpleasant interaction with the salesman, Chad. When I sought clarification on the estimate, he became visibly frustrated /angry and he puffed up, stood over me in a very confrontational manner and raised his voice. I found this to be highly unprofessional and distressing, triggering a panic attack for me due to past trauma. My neighbor, who witnessed the incident, even came over to check on my well-being. Secondly, the installation process was fraught with issues: - The wrong door was ordered for my back entrance, leading to a re-ordering process that took at least five weeks. - During the installation of the front door, the lead installer, Job, indicated that he did not have the necessary materials to address rotted wood that needed replacement. Consequently, I provided a piece of plywood for them to use for the installation, which I believe is unacceptable. They should supply their own materials. - When additional bad wood was discovered, Job was going to continue installing over it without seeking to remedy the situation appropriately, which I felt might create integrity problems later. A new board was eventually purchased & used for the repair, even if I had to go purchase it. The initial work was completed hastily, leaving the installation looking subpar. - While I appreciated Mike's later efforts to rectify some of these issues, the hardware for the locks was not functioning correctly. I was informed that the problem was inherent to the hardware, which was frustrating. I ultimately had to purchase new hardware myself to ensure proper functionality. The new hardware has the issue on the back door (the deadbolt and the door knob lock and unlock in opposite directions. This is a problem for me that I cannot live with). It is not as much of a problem on the back door as it was on the front door, but a problem no less that has not been addressed. Additionally, the billing process was problematic, as I received charges for someone else's project. Those charges were promptly reversed. However, When I raised my concerns for the remaining issues and pushed for the issues to be corrected prior to me paying in full. Tom, the installation manager, intruded upon a phone call I was in with their financial representative (Megan) where he became very rude, belligerent & loud with me which exacerbated my stress levels into another panic attach. This was unacceptable & unnecessary. It was not his phone call to involve himself in. I called to speak with Megan to resolve paying for my project. I did not call to speak with Tom. Despite the final appearance of the doors being satisfactory, several issues remain unresolved, including faulty locks and a peephole that still needs attention. I was concerned that after full payment was made, I would not receive further assistance with these outstanding issues. I wanted the issues taken care of prior to paying in full. This company said I refused to pay and sent my account to collections due to a disagreement about the work being complete. The things still haven't been taken care of nearly 2 months after full payment was made. While I recognize that Mike did good work and Leah was kind and empathetic during our interactions, while their efforts were appreciated, they did not fully resolve my concerns. Given these experiences, my overall satisfaction with your company is extremely low. This company was started because the owners had a similar bad experience when they had windows installed on their home. They promise not to be that way, and that is exactly how they treated me. I hope we can find a resolution that aligns with your company's values. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I don't feel the mistakes were handled properly. I had 8 windows installed 04 March 2024 by installers Marcus and Nate - I couldn't be happier with the results. First the quality of the windows were exactly what I wanted - with NO pressure of an upsale by Elias. I went with Anlin - Milgard. On installation day, the 2 man crew showed on time, covered all work areas with plastic, explained the install day, and started straight away. All windows were installed, areas cleaned and vacuumed, windows cleaned, and final inspection done by 4:15PM. The entire day took less than 8 hours to complete the install. The company was running an end of year special in which the labor costs were waived. Horrible quality windows and doors. We spent over $40,000 to replace our windows and doors. 1. There was an internal scratch on one of the doors. 2. Most of the gasket trim fell off. The installer blamed the manufacturer. The manufacturer blamed the installer. They replaced it but it is falling off again. 3. One door we can not longer open. Completely locked up. I viewed a video online and the locks should line up vertically. They are all misaligned and will eventually lead to failure. 4. They left paper sticker residues on all of the doors and windows. Took many hours to clean. *** Update - Trim is falling off again. I posted an image below. Horrible quality. read more

Jared came out to give me a quote and he was very nice salesperson. He did a great job showing me the windows and taking measurements. However I could not move forward with the windows as they were charging $14,000 for six Anlin windows. I had AZ Window and door store install three windows and a sliding glass door with the same Anlin windows for $4500 on 11/2020. I also had a quote from Energy Shield windows and doors to replace all the windows in the house for around $9500 for 9 and a sliding glass door. Anlin makes a good mid to high grade vinyl window but these scrape me off the ceiling sales practices leave much to be desired. read more

More good things... Today the folks from AVW came out and installed a replacement window. Unfortunately, the neighborhood kids accidentally broke one of our windows while having a bit too much fun. Thankfully, my Anlin windows came with a full accidental breakage warranty--that is ACTUALLY honored by Anlin unlike other product warranties I have had in the past. One call to the Elias, Norm and the team at AVW and we quickly were able to work with Anlin to get a new window ordered. 6 weeks later (today) Daniel with Anlin installed my replacement window. Daniel and a representative from AFW were professional and did a very thorough job. It looks as good as new, I couldn't be happier with American Vision Windows and my Anlin windows. read more

We have had American Vision Windows since 2015 and have been extremely pleased with the product & the service. Recently, one of the back door locks broke. We called for service & spoke with Skye. She was extremely helpful & friendly. Mike came out the same day. Since it was a security issue, he installed a temporary lock, while he ordered the exact part from the factory. Updating this review to add 1 star, because they sent someone out that at least did a thorough job of trying to diagnose where the leak was coming from this time. Unfortunately, the leak is likely coming from a crack in the stucco above where the window was installed. Because I can't prove the crack was created during the install process, I'm stuck with figuring out how to get it repaired and the costs associated to it. We lived in the house for 4 years without issue, it rained a few days before the install with no issue, and then the first storm after the install it leaks into the house. Just a crazy coincidence I guess. In summary, everything was fine before we decided to get new windows, albeit not being the most energy efficient. And it's been nothing but headaches since deciding to "upgrade". Doesn't feel like any of it was worth it. read more
