Wow what a jerk. My brother just purchased a car and we were referred from a sales person at carmax to go here. The guy never acknowledged us even though he was helping another customer (which he was being so super nice to), still unacceptable and then told my brother he couldn't do his smog because he just got a new license or something? Very glad that I came here. Adam was very pleasant and efficient and he got me in and out in less than 30 min! They have a waiting area with a large fan inside so I had no problem waiting inside. My total was 42 for my 09 Toyota. They also gave me a confirmation paper with my results that were sent to the DMV and AAA electronically. So I was looking for a place to take my car for a smog that was near by. I came across Reliable Smog on yelp. I seen that they had so many great reviews. I gave it a go and I'm pleased to say that I was satisfied with the services and great customer service. You can tell Adam really enjoys what he does. It refelcts in his customer service. Got there at 5:55pm, right before they closed. I know I suck for going in last minute LOL. Anyway, the tech was nice, he took my car for smog and literally finished in 10 minutes, we were out by 6:05pm. Was charged $40 because my car was older, but hell, still cheaper than other places which usually charge around $50. Clean and organized waiting area. Since the waiting area and dyne for the smog are in the same room, you can see the test being performed. Highly recommend this place for a smog test! read more

Called to make an appointment. Adam answered and let me know that I could come in today for my smog check. I went on my lunch break. Adam greeted me at my car and walked me into his office. He offered me water and then let me know how long it would take. He said I could take a seat on the couch. Turned on tv and said to make myself comfortable. Within 15 min my smog check was complete. Price was average for a smog check but definitely worth it. Adam provided me with a copy and invoice. Extremely professional and great customer service. Under new ownership, no STAR certification until April. I came here 2 years ago, and the facility was owned by someone else. The current owner said he bought the place a month ago, and won't be STAR certified until April. Despite this, he was very nice and welcoming, and promised to take good care of me next time. Went in today a bit before the lunch hour. When I arrived, I was the only customer, and was in and out in less than 15min, which is about as fast as is possible to complete the test. Charged $40, which is basically as cheap as it gets. Service was friendly and professional, charges were explained up front. Nicer than most smog shops I've been to, couldn't ask for much better! If you're trying to find it, it's basically across Huntington from CVS. There are two red white & blue painted shops that are mirror images of each other, and this is the one on the right. read more

After calling a few places, I came across this, remembering I just found a great tire place I yelp- why not check out the smog places in yelp too? This place had REALLY good reviews, and I am so glad I called for pricing, wait time and spoke to Adam. Adam was very friendly and professional, and offered a really good price and super fast service. They have a nice, clean, well equipped waiting area including magazines (US weekly to be specific- not what I expected at a auto or smog check facility but for a nail or hair salon- a big plus for a woman!) and wifi for my son's iPad while we waited. I had to wait extra 10 mins because there was already someone there before me, but he let me know when I got there and offered us water right away while we waited. As soon as he had my keys, my car was inspected and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes!! Not joking! Take your car there for smog checks!
