Called this place before 11:30 am and was told by the guy on the phone that if I came now, I could get my smog check done right away (and it would last about 10 -15 minutes). So I got into my car and headed down here right away. This place is pretty easy to find, located right next to Thai City Restaurant. When I came in here, I was acknowledged right away and was done in the 15 minutes that was originally promised to me over the phone. This place deserves the full 5 stars because of the fast service, excellent price ($35 for a smog test & digital certificate that is sent to the DMV... and of course a copy for yourself) and excellent customer service. What more is there to add considering all the other 5 star reviews? Adam is a rarity in the mechanic world - honest, professional, and a lovely personality to boot. He truly does care about his customer's needs, and really was just wonderful to work with. The smog check was quick, about 10 minutes only and he takes walk ins as well as appointments. He also helped check our oil (for free) because I expressed concerns about not having had an oil change in forever. His crew is experienced and works on beautiful old antique cars. We'll be coming here for all our future maintenance needs! It's a really a great neighborhood place. P.S. Nice guy but it took way too long. Probably waited for around 45 min inside the waiting room. When I looked to see what was taking so long, both the driver side and passenger doors were wide open. Kind of odd since the OBDII port is on the driver side. They were great and fast. I went during my lunch hour and even though it was his lunch hour, he still took me and it took all of 10 min to get my car smogged. Adam is the man! I recently brought a car for smog that I was going to sell and he got it knocked out quick and was very professional. Then I picked up a truck that needed smog for out of state transfer. It had some bad sensors but Adam helped me find what needed to be replaced and gave me specific details on how to drive it to get the trucks computer ready for the smog test.
