We had 200 guests and needed transportation for our out-of-town guests from the hotel in San Diego, to the church in Encinitas, and back to San Diego for the wedding reception. They were professional from the initial contact to the day of the wedding. The cost was reasonable. Their communication exemplary. The team that arrived on the wedding day were great. Brandon went above and beyond. The first bus left and the second bus stayed behind for stragglers. Brandon went into the lobby of the hotel to see if anyone was inside. My in-laws, who do not speak English well, were standing there looking lost. Brandon asked them if they were guests of my son's wedding and directed them to the bus. RELIABLE?!? More like UNreliable.... I received a referral for this car service from the hotel in which I booked my clients. I called them to make a car reservation for a pickup from the office to the airport. I even provided the flight information. My client's flight was at 1:30 PM. I had asked for a 12 PM pickup from the office. On the day of the pickup, my client calls and tells me that Reliable Transporation put them down for a 1 PM pickup. I called Reliable Trasportation to see what had happened and I was met with a very defensive and unpleasant attitude of the representative. He basically told me: 1. He never suggested a 1 PM pickup, but that I had strongly wanted it, which was completely false. I think I would know what I want...I had asked for a 12 PM pickup to give ample time to get to the airport before the 1:30 PM flight. Why would I cut it so close? I even asked why they bothered to ask for flight information if they were just going to completely disregard the realistic nature of getting someone to the airport before their flight. 2. He said it was my fault because I had ample time to change the email reservation if it was incorrect. I just assumed that when I placed the car reservation over the phone, he would write down the right time. He was so rude and unhelpful. He did not even try to make up for the disservice they had. PROS: - Easy online reservations - Clear descriptions and images of the vehicles and passenger capacity - Extremely courteous throughout the reservation process (sadly, isn't that getting to be a rare quality?) - Nearly immediate responses to reservation requests as well as reservation changes - Incredibly accommodating with changes - Extreme attention to details - they even called me to confirm small tweaks that appeared odd/inconsistent to ensure everything was correct - Clean vehicles that matched expectations from the website - Very polite, professional drivers - Good drivers that took the most convenient routes - Drivers arrived early and were willing to wait until scheduled departure time; their early arrival really relieved my stress about potential no shows - Lead driver confirmed the arrival of all 3 cars via text message. In other words, I wasn't fielding 3 texts from 3 different drivers at the same location, time. - No "hidden fees" for gas, etc - which I have experienced with other companies CONS: - None I was tasked with getting a group of 30+ people from point A to B for an event. As with any large group, there were constant changes in how many people were coming, how many cars were needed, who wanted to ride with whom, special requests, etc. You get the picture. As a result, I had to make a number of changes to my reservations over the 1.5 weeks prior to the event. Reliable Transportation took it all in stride - including an additional car request the day before the event. It was such a relief to work with such a professional team. I was referred to Reliable by a friend (Oleg). Therefore, my experience was absolutely unbiased as i haven't read reviews or did a research. If that wasn't the case, I would've probably called someone with a five stars and few hundred reviews, as I usually do. And would've never experienced the great service those guys provide. Being used to deal with businesses who enjoy an established profiles in social media, I didn't realize how passionate those who are just building up their image can be. Excellent service, unbelievable attention to clients needs (I was meeting a guest in an airport and found out his flight was delayed when we were almost by the terminal), devilish punctuality (driver called me to say he will be by my house in 17 minutes. I did track him - it was exactly 17 minutes!!!) and an outstanding overall experience made me rethink my approach to using Yelp - I guess from now on I will explore those new/establishing profiles more often. Maybe we should all give more chances to the guys who are just starting to build up their yelp presence vs. being "a review number 473"? read more

I was referred to this car service by the Hyatt hotel in San Diego. I set up a pick up at 10:45am to go to the airport. I arrived in front of the hotel 10 minutes early, but the car service was nowhere to be found. I called the car service at 10:40am and they said they could not find my reservation. They then looked again and said that the car was on the way. I'm use to a car service showing up early. At 10:45am the car was late, so I got into a taxi. The bellman said that the company should be called "Unreliable Transportation". I got a call from the dispatcher at 10:47am telling me that the driver was at a light and would be there soon. I told him that the driver was late so I took a taxi. He argued with me that he was almost there and that I would have to pay the $80 fee. I refused and told him that I was going to call AMEX and dispute the charge. He then called back and said I would get a credit. This is by far the worst car service that I have ever used and I would wholeheartedly agree with the bellman at the Hyatt that their name should be changed to "Unreliable Transportation". BTW....a taxi was $17 with a tip....go figure. read more
