    Update #3 -- As I previously stated I've used Reliant for the 4.5 years. They put in the new unit I purchased 4.5 years ago. Things were running smoothly with my unit, absolutely no issues. I get a call from Reliant asking if I would like for them to come out and to my winter service. I said yes, and we scheduled for Friday, January 19th, 2026. They were supposed to give me a 30 minute notice prior to their arrival, but nooooo, they call me when they are already at my house. So I have to rush hone from my job to meet the technician. The technician was there for a while does his thing and then leaves. Well about 15 minutes after he left, I noticed my thermostat was totally black, would not come on. I immediately call back and tell them he needs to come back as the thermostat will not come on. He comes back and after an hour he tells me the problem is the breaker ; that it is too small for the unit. and I need to call whoever put in the unit to fix. To which I replied "Reliant put in the unit". Not only that, but you guys have come out twice a year every year and checked the system and no one ever said anything about about the breaker being incorrect -- EVER! The most frustrating and annoying thing of the cluster fuck was when the supervisor Matt proceeds to talk to me in the most condescending manner and tells me, "well at least we are not charging you. To which I replied yes you are charging me, $250 for yall to come out. He said well at least we are not charging you to to trouble shoot the problem -- well hell no being that your technician caused the problem; and we are not going to charge you to replace the breaker; and you shouldn't! Because if another breaker was needed that should have been done at installation. I don't see how that breaker worked for 4.5 years and them WHAM breaks after your tech jiggles with my system! MY system was working just fine before the TECH touched it! They finally jerry-rigged the system to work to get me through this current winter storm, but I was informef that I would have to constantly run it in auxiliary mode until they get the issue resolved, which means my electric bill is going to be through the roof! So quite naturally I want them back as soon as possible to get it fixed. Was told someone would call me on Monday...didn't happen. So I call them today (Tuesday) and the lady that answer the phone said her supervisor doesn't know anything about it. I said ma'am, you were the one I talked to, to get the tech back over to my house, so you are aware about this and so is Javon and his supervisor Matt. So that's who you need to talk to. I was told by Javon that the order was already entered (and he also told that to the second technician that showed up at my house on Friday). A simple tune-up has turned into a total clusterfuck! Someone is supposed to call me tomorrow and I will update from there. But I have a feeling they are going to try and get out of putting my system and breaker operating condition the way it was -- I pray I'm wrong. But right now I have little faith in them. Because 1) I loath being talked to in a condescending manner and 2) Once you break something you are supposed to be fixing once, my radar is already on high alert. Stay tuned. UPDATE 4: I am happy to share that Reliant kept their word, replaced the breaker and got my system back to its original state. The best part was the technician Johnathan didn't speak to me in a condescending manner and treated me with respect.

    Reliant came out on the same day we called to fix our AC issue. They met their time commitment and did a great job fixing our AC.

Willard Air, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical came out this morning for full system review, AC & furnace system components. Brilliant work; very thorough report walk-through with photos. Impressively professional and thorough. The guy George was awesome. They complemented the check up, up front. There aee some good catches that we can get fixed today, and extend the life of the compressor. Heartily recommend. We also joined the membership program to get on the bi-yearly checkups for AC and furnance in preseason times. Incredible turnaround! Well done all!!

    Top Gun was such a great company, but they sold to a company named Willards who has completely…read moredestroyed this company. Willards should be ashamed of themselves....but they won't be because they are shady and have dragged Top Gun down to the gutter with them. I've had nothing but negative interactions with them since they sold, but I keep trying to give them a chance because of how awesome they used to be. I'll just address the latest one. I called them out to service my mini split. The Top Gun tech that came out was great. But couldn't find the problem because of course the mini split started acting right when he came out. A few weeks later, it started making a noise while it was off. I called again and they sent a guy from Willards. This guy (I won't say his name) told me that my levels (that were just checked a few weeks prior) were low. I said how is that possible. He said there's a leak and it would cost over $800 to find it. So I called the office to complain and the office called him. Mysteriously, the levels "returned to normal". I told the office I didn't feel comfortable with this guy, but they assured me everything was fine and let him complete the work and they'd give me $50 off for the "confusion". This guy proceeds to take my mini split apart and says that my fan was caked with dust (it was) and needed to be cleaned. I asked him to clean it and he says that he doesn't work on mini splits and doesn't feel comfortable doing it. Ummm then why was he touching it in the first place! So, I called the office back, they said they'd send a mini split specialist out on Thursday. Thursday comes and goes and no one shows up. I called Thursday night, talked to what I think was an answering service who said they'd have someone call me Friday. No call. Today, I called again. Now it's some AI answering system answering the phone. The system said they'd have someone call back. Again...no call. I'm livid. This once great company sold out when they sold and now I can't stress enough to stay away at all costs. The original Top Gun techs were awesome and you could count on them. The ones remaining need to leave before Willard's damages their reputation like they did Top Guns. It's very sad what has happened to them. Ever since they were sold I've had nothing but trouble with them.

    I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of…read moreover 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

    I believe the other negative reviews to be spot-on. Be very, very careful with this company…read more They came in to give an estimate for one repair, but that turned into a big, scary report of all the issues, pointing strongly at a completely new system. Ok. They had photos. Their explainations sounded reasonable, especially when coupled with the photos they quickly flashed through on their tiny phone. So, I told them that we would likely move forward, but I require two things - a copy of all of those photos, and two estimates, one for what they wanted to sell me, and a separate itemized repair list. I got two estimates - one for the original they were pushing, and another for something MORE expensive. No itemized list of repairs. No photos. When I reached out in email, they wanted a phone call. There is almost always a good reason for not wanting to leave a record via email. But, $15,000-ish for a new 5 ton unit, with no new duct work... yeah, you'd better *really* back that up. They could not (would not?) I now have to suspect that thier photos were doctored in some way, maybe even not all of my unit. Who knows? Who looks inside, like that? And, I suspect their reason for not sending me copies of those were dubious. They also pressured the sale claiming that "prices go up next week for Summer." Sha. Ok. This was in March. Good luck with these tactics. Not for me. If you want to give them enough rope to hang themselves to find out for yourself, just act ignorant and as excited for a new unit as they suddenly are to sell you on it. You'll see. It'll cost you $120 for the scammy diagnosis, though.

Alfredo was A++++…read more We had a 9 year old HVAC that was dying in 2023 and called out numerous companies to quote and diagnose for possible repair. We had to deal with a lot of salesmen-y type of people that didn't feel honest. Quoting huge numbers and telling us our AC was definitely going to die any moment. Telling us we had to buy these huge expensive replacements. We knew it was going bad, but the experience we had with the greasy salesmen techs made us decide to wait for it to fail before trying again to find someone good. It finally failed May 2026. I did my research again and found this company. The reviews were great but I was still really nervous because of our last experience. Called them out, fully expecting to go through the process of calling multiple people before finding someone. However, Alfredo was immediately different from the others. He is such a kind and personable person. What a great first impression. If you are able to ask by name, I suggest ask for Alfredo. He arrived exactly on time, too. He didn't feel like a salesperson at all. He felt honest and genuine. He gave us all of our options. From repair to full and complete replacement and everything in between. He discussed with us the pros and cons of each option. It never felt like he was pushing us one way or the other. It felt like he just wanted us to have a working AC that worked for us, period. He also spoke equally to both my husband and I. Many technicians tend to only speak to my husband which is annoying since I take care of most of the home management. Previously we were told we had to do this super expensive option to keep our upstairs cool but Alfredo told us we likely didn't need it, and if we did, we could have it added later. I knew right away we didn't need to have anyone else come out. We chose them and they were able to install our new system same day. We left the house, and they were very respectful of our house while they were here alone. They cleaned up after themselves and locked the doors behind them. He said they would likely be done around 2am and they finished at exactly 1:59am! We had a Lego display on the wall that I'm guessing got bumped (I forgot to remove it before they arrived so that was my bad). Some pieces fell off and broke apart and they put them all on the table. I've knocked that thing off myself and finding those scattered pieces is annoying. No missing pieces at all. I was impressed by this small thing. Just another example of the care and thoughtfulness of the crew. The AC is incredible. I'm very happy so far with our choice in system and in who we picked to install it. I don't feel bamboozled or taken advantage of in any way. Highly recommend! Very glad I found them.
