Came here with another couple of friends. Our previous meals have all been very good, and this visit was no exception. Food: Three of the four of us ordered the Relish Old Fashioned. It's an excellent take on an old favorite. We started with the Meatballs, which normally wouldn't have been my first choice, but one of our group is a huge meatball fan. They were excellent. The sauce was flavorful without being too thick, and they were served with little pieces of golden-fried bread that added wonderful texture and flavor. We all ended up ordering seafood entrées. I chose the special, Salmon en Croûte. It's similar to a Salmon Wellington, with spinach wrapped inside the pastry. It was outstanding. The salmon was moist, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The cream sauce paired beautifully with the salmon and spinach, and the puff pastry was baked all the way through, remaining crisp rather than soggy. To top it off, the accompanying roasted vegetable medley was perfectly roasted and full of flavor. Altogether, it was an exceptional dish. Service: The service was friendly and personable, with just the right amount of attention. We never felt like we had to watch for our server. I wanted nothing more but to give this a great review but sadly couldn't. The supper club has a great vibe and we had a really wonderful server, she was so kind especially to my young nephew. We started with a round of drinks, cheese curds, and the complimentary bread and were off to a good start. The drinks were good and the bread was a classic hot supper club bread. A few of us opted for the $5 relish tray and we all felt like that was a waste of money. Maybe $5 a table would be more reasonable? The deviled eggs were what we looked forward to the most but they had zero flavor. There was only one type of breadstick (large, sesame, hard to eat) which was also a bummer. I got the chicken dumpling soup and that only had one piece of chicken and one dumpling. Very bland. For my meal I had the salmon which sounded amazing on the menu, but I was so disappointed. The mushroom/spinach combo was soo salty that it was inedible, the salmon was also incredibly salty with no other flavor at all. I ate about half and gave up. The risotto is another thing I looked forward to and it was also flavorless. Others in my group had the halibut, crab cakes, beef pasta, and a salad. It seemed like all meals lacked overall flavor and interest. We've visited Relish several times now and are just finally getting around to leaving a review. From the outside, it doesn't necessarily stand out, but once you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere that really captures the classic supper club feel. The dining room is comfortable and inviting, and the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. One of the biggest strengths here is the service. Every visit, the staff has been consistently friendly and attentive. It genuinely feels like you're being welcomed in by family. The Relish bar is also a fantastic touch. Only $5 per person and stocked with a variety of fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments. It's a great value and adds to the overall supper club experience. As for the food, meals have consistently tasted fresh, scratch-made, and thoughtfully prepared. We've tried multiple pasta dishes and seafood entrees over several visits, and they've all been excellent. A couple chicken dishes especially stood out. The chicken was honestly some of the most tender I've ever had. The only item that missed the mark was the ribs. They were very tender overall, but the silver skin hadn't been removed, which created some chewiness and hurt the texture a bit. Other than that, we've had consistently great experiences here. If you're looking for a fantastic supper club, here's your spot! From atmosphere, to food and service... we had such a great experience. It's very supper-cluby with the cabin feels, wood walls and ceilings, taxidermy on the walls, and massive stone fireplace. Upon entry you'll come across their bar area, before entering into the main dining room. The eight of us were quickly sat and greeted by our server, Tammy. And let me tell ya, she could of been my favorite thing about the experience! What a wonderful server she was. Friendly, attentive, and honestly hilarious. Such a vibe. This is the kind of place where you simply gotta order cocktails. Their menu has tons of great options. Between the Buffalo Black Manhattans, the Local Old Fashioned, and a good ol' gin martini for myself, everyone was beyond pleased with their order. They have a 'relish bar' at the front, which is all your can eat for five bucks. A few of us got that for some apps/snacks to munch on. I'm all about pickled everything, so loved the line up of options there. Choosing a main dish was a tough feat, because again, maybe great-sounding options. I landed on the walleye piccata and it was a win. Pan seared, and topped with caper and bacon relish. What's not to love there!? It was cooked to melt-in-your-mouth really. Oh and my husband loved the chicken parm dish (recommended by Tammy). It was my sis-in-laws birthday, so the staff so kindly brought over a Brandy Alexander milkshake to treat her with. It's been a long time since any of us have had a boozy milkshake, and boy was it tasty. So much so, that the rest of us decided to order a mini flight with other picks like the grasshopper and pink squirrel. All and all, a great time! We may never eat again! Our Wednesday-evening-before-Thanksgiving meal is going to be tough to beat. Remarkable Old Fashioneds--bourbon, sour, mushrooms--kicked things off followed by French onion soup and salads. Mains were steaks grilled to perfection accompanied by baked potatoes. We might have quit then but carrot cake and a Pink Squirrel were calling our name. We're glad we answered! Service never missed a beat. Where to start with Relish...wow! What an awesome experience we had dining here last night to celebrate my birthday with family! What's not to love about a classic (yet modernized) WI Supper Club vibe?! The decor was tasteful and cozy, my favorite detail was the huge fieldstone fireplace. I also loved the soft table lighting that looked like antique gas lamp, the soft glow really set the mood of the evening. Our server, Tracy (sorry w/spelling if that's wrong!) was the sweetest, spunkiest server ever! She was kind, informative and kept the energy super light and fun! We kicked it off with drinks all around, which did NOT disappoint, what a great list of cocktails! I personally ordered the Browned Butter Old Fashioned which was delicious. Next up was a really fun unique concept - you can have unlimited access to their 'Relish' bar for only $5/pp. This bar consisted of breadsticks, cheese, butter, veggies, pickled items, summer sausage, and deviled eggs! Day three of my 7-day stretch of trying at least one new-to-me restaurant per day. I didn't stray too far from home and visited Relish Supper Club, a sister restaurant to local favorite The Stillery. I ordered muenster cheese curds for an appetizer, glazed ribs with mashed potatoes for the entree, and added on the relish tray for good measure. The relish bar was good and has something for everyone (personally, I liked the breadsticks with sharp cheddar spread). My complaints regarding the relish bar, though, are two-fold. First, the bartender who took my drink order and asked if I wanted to start with the relish bar didn't mention it wasn't included with the meal and was an extra charge. It's a good thing that I saw that on the menu before he asked and was planning on doing it anyway. Second, I find it odd that your namesake item isn't included with every meal when it's meant to be part of the experience. Raise prices if you need to so that it's included. Yes, not everyone may want to partake in a relish tray, but having it is part of your restaurant's identity. I was impressive with the side salad that came with my entree because it included avocado and what looked like pickled onion (I didn't eat those so I can't 100% verify it) in addition to the more common tomato, cucumber, and carrot. Certainly a step above side salads at most other restaurants. The loaf of bread and butter served with it, however, were both pretty flavorless. Frankly, I found the bread to be undesirable. The muenster cheese curds were amazing. A little greasy, but the beer batter was spot on with favor and crispiness. This was my favorite part of my meal. The ribs were the thinnest I've ever seen and were heavily (boarderline excessively) covered with a tangy BBQ sauce. I recommend scraping some of the sauce off otherwise that's all you're going to taste. The meat underneath was cooked well and fell off the bone. The menu I was given said the mashed potatoes come with gravy, but they were served without and only had a hint of garlic powder. They desperately need doctoring up, whether it's with salt and pepper or gravy if they do indeed have some available. I was charged $29 for the ribs even though the menu I was given stated they were $27. They blamed it on an old menu and corrected the bill pretty quickly, but that kind of error shouldn't occur. read more

A few of the people in our group got the relish bar for $5.... They said it wasn't worth it. Just deviled eggs, crackers, cheese, olives, pickles etc... I would prefer a salad bar personally. I had Tammy two options and she picked for me - crab cakes. They were to die for. U am so glad I ordered them. My husband got the ribs and said they were ok but he wouldn't order them again. From the moment you enter you feel welcome. Angel Share does an amazing job at selecting the employees who represent their restaurant. The hostess genuinely asks how you are and is so kind! She makes you feel like family and guides her staff to do the same. My husband and I frequent another restaurant by the same owners and wanted to try their new place. It took about 20 minutes after our reservation to be seated. The place has an up North Supper club aesthetic. The bar area was bright, while dining was darker lighting. The staff were all very nice and attentive. We ordered multiple items from the menu. They had complimentary bread with the dinner, which was harder on the outside but soft inside. For appetizers, we had the meatballs and escargot dishes. Both were okay, but I probably would not get the escargot again. Also had the French onion soup and cheese soup, which were both good. For the main course, I had a ribeye steak, and my husband had the New York strip. They were cooked to our order, which was medium rare. The meat was tender and not over seasoned but had good flavor. We decided to try Relish Supper Club tonight and it was truly an uplifting experience. Drinks were exceptionally good. Orders were 2 Relish Ol Fashion, a Blackberry Ol' Fashion, and a Chardonnay, and that Blackberry Ol Fashion was !! I could have savored many more, if I wasn't the driver. The food ordered was a filet(med rare), Sirloin (med rare), NY Strip (Med) and fried shrimp. All were outstanding. We also got their relish bar buffet, which had WI Cheese, butter, beets, pickles, and other items you'd get on a relish tray. After dinner drink was a delightful Cherry Amaretto ice cream drink, Cheese cake and Carrot Cake. I believe the ice cream drink was the favorite. Our server Tony did a phenomenal job. We had been wanting to go here ever since we heard that the folks that own The Stillery (Grafton & Richfield) were opening a supper club in downtown Germantown. My wife grew up in Germantown and my FIL still lives there, so his birthday seemed like a perfect time to try it out. Ambiance: Dark and relaxed, when they brought the dessert out for my FIL's birthday everyone in the restaurant sang, which was really nice. I know some people might say that is just Wisconsin, but as a recent California transplant this just seemed really cool. Service: Great service all around, especially Emily (our waitress) who was, somehow, always there about 10 seconds before we needed anything. Food: Cheese Curds - Awesome! Could tell that they were fresh. Ribs - These were really, really good but I could only finish a little over 1/2 of them...but they were awesome for leftovers. Chicken Schnitzel - I had a bite and it was really good, well seasoned batter and the sauce was pretty good. My wife despises mushrooms, so she ordered the sauce without them and I think that they would have been even better with them. New York Strip - My FIL ordered this cooked well done and both I and Emily cringed, but it came out the way he ordered it and was still juicy. I didn't try it, but he raved about it. French Onion Soup - Wife and FIL raved about it. Beer Cheese Soup - Really, really good...went perfectly with some of the fresh bread they brought for the table. Homemade Bread - Awesome and hot out of the oven. Spiked Mudslide Shake - This was on the house due to the birthday in our party, but was also very good. Overall just a really nice experience from start to finish. This location has had a hard time keeping a business alive, but I think that Relish is a winner. read more

They give you a flight of Brandy Alexander's and Grasshoppers. Just an overall great dining experience. The service was top notch my water was never half empty. In closing the kicker was the Red wine I had with myl prime rib. Belasco agentina wine happens to be last name also. I have never heard or tried that wine and of course was phenomenal. My friends and I visited Relish on Friday night for the first time. We were excited to try the supper club after seeing so many positive reviews online, but unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed with the service. We kept hoping the experience would improve, but it continually went downhill. We arrived at 7:40 for our 7:45 reservation and checked in with the host, who told us there would be a short wait because they were running "a little" behind. However, we were not seated until 8:30, 45 minutes past our reservation time. While this alone is frustrating, what made it significantly worse was watching multiple parties without reservations, as well as parties with later reservation times, being seated ahead of us. This happened repeatedly, with at least 5-10 groups being sat before us. Throughout our wait, the hostess continued to blame the delay on another table that was supposedly occupying "our" table, saying they had already received their check and she was just waiting for them to leave. This felt highly unprofessional, both in placing blame on another customer and in the fact that assigning us to one specific table didn't make sense, especially when many other four-top tables opened up during our wait. At one point, she even scoffed about another guest leaving due to the delay and offered us only a very insincere apology when we were finally seated. At 8:20, we were given a relish plate "on the house" as an apology. While we appreciated the gesture, a $5 plate hardly made up for the lengthy and mishandled wait, especially given that we were seated at the bar during that time, which felt more like an attempt to have us start spending money. We tried to stay optimistic once we were seated, hoping the dining experience would redeem the night. Unfortunately, the service at the table was equally disappointing. Our server repeatedly placed dishes directly on top of our unfinished plates, despite there being space on the table. He reached over us multiple times, elbowing me in the head on three separate occasions without offering a single apology. He also bumped into our chairs numerous times and even seemed to get mad when he tripped over one, as though it were our fault. Despite being seated so late, we were then rushed through our meal. While I still had food in my hand and mouth, a to-go box was abruptly pushed toward me without being asked for. As I was transferring my food into the container, the server was practically already lifting my plate away. It felt incredibly rushed and disrespectful. Overall, the food itself was good, but it was overshadowed by the series of service issues that left us frustrated and disappointed. We had expected a positive, enjoyable evening based on Relish's reputation, but this experience fell far short of that. read more

Our long awaited trip to relish was finally fulfilled on a Saturday evening. We made reservations for 530 and when we arrived, we were promptly seated to our delight. The inside of the restaurant is very, very nice, well done! The serving staff was excellent Very nice indeed. For dinner, we had ribs, steak, and the schnitzel. We also had the onion soup, which was probably one of the best onion soups we've had, the relish bar was a tasty treat for appetizers. The food was served fresh and overall excellent, the only complaint we had was we thought that the portions were a little bit on the small side, but that can be relative so overall good job read more

We came into relish for the first time ever, and weren't sure what to expect. We had a reservation for 8pm, but our table wasn't ready. It was a bit odd as there were free tables when we were finally seated almost 20 min later. Our waiter was terrific - he explained the relish bar and provided great service. The relish bar was a highlight - I do think it should be included but $5pp isn't crazy - I enjoyed the variety. Our table ordered a variety of items. My friends enjoyed the crispy cauliflower, the crab stuffed shrimp pasta, chicken schnitzel and prime rib. The bread was warm and delicious and the salad was quite plentiful. I was a bit thrown by the extra charge for upgrading sides. My husband asked for veggies instead of mashed potatoes - he wasn't told it would be an upcharge of $9 - for asparagus!!! I asked if I could upgrade to the au gratin potatoes instead of mashed potatoes - I was also charged for an entire side and was not told by the waiter. We assumed there would be an upcharge for the potato's but didn't think it would be the entire 2-3 person side cost, so that would've been good to know or even told that they don't do upgrades but we could do sides separately. We spent an extra $20 on sides that we could've just added as extra and didn't even end up getting the included sides. That felt a bit deceptive, but we were with friends so we just let it go. Overall the food was delicious, the supper club was rather upscale than you'd expect for a supper club experience, the drinks were good. My husband and I used the gift card we received for Christmas. The place is large and beautiful with an up north log cabin feel. Very cozy, warm and comforting. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. When we arrived my husband and I were both very hungry so when he brought us a loaf of warm bread with SOFT butter I could've hugged him! That was such a wonderful surprise and it was soooooo good!!! Since I am not much of a meat girl I ordered the Cauliflower Marsala and upgraded to the French onion soup, my husband chose the Glazed ribs with a salad. The French onion soup was incredible!! So much cheese and flavor and after the amazing bread I was full after a few bites and I hadn't gotten my main dish yet. Our waiter was so sweet and offered to put my soup in a take out container because I was not letting that go to waste. When the Cauliflower Marsala arrived and I tried that I thought I died and went to heaven! It was fabulous! I never had a dish like that before and it was so good. Now I was regretting eating a half loaf of bread because I wanted to keep eating this but I was so full. No worries, lunch for the next day (or so I thought). My husband loved his ribs, he said the sauce was not too sweet which was just perfect for him. Our waiter packed my leftovers and put them in a bag for me to carry home. My thoughts for a delicious lunch the next day were short lived because when we arrived home our son was there and we'll needless to say he thought the French onion soup and Cauliflower Marsala was wonderful too!! I had an excellent wedge salad. The decor was nice, and the restaurant had a relaxed ambience. The remainder of the food was good, but could have been elevated a bit more. I found the flavors somewhat bland. Service was casual, relaxed, could have been a bit more attentive - but overall was good. Received a gift card for Relish for Xmas and was looking forward to using it.Had heard good things,so decided to use it to celebrate Valentine's Day Weekend.Very welcoming atmosphere (sorry I forgot to take pictures of the interior) with a large bar and even larger dining room with a large stone fireplace in the middle, with a warm fire going,deep wood tones,and a feeling had walked into a Supper Club up North. We were quickly seated and our waiter took no time in politely introducing himself (Anthony) with a loaf of warm bread and soft whipped butter(it was so delicious and made us feel at home).Ordered drinks(huge list with a great selection of cocktails and beers,both bottle and large on tap selection).Eclectic menu,with many Supper Club staples and several unusual surprises as well.I selected the Full Rack of Ribs with mashed potatoes and a mixed saled( there are several nice options in regards to the sides).My love chose Cauliflower Marsala pasta( a very unusual menu choice) and opted to get the Baked French Onion Soup first $5 more(and it was a great choice).There is a really unusual Relish Table available for $5 more. We passed this time as we felt the food we ordered would be more then enough ,and we were certainly right about that,but will definitely check it out next time. My wife absolutely loved the Cauliflower Marsala dish and the French Onion soup was some of the best she and I have ever had,really rich and flavorful. The ribs were fall off the bone Good and the sauce had just the right amount of heat to make it stand out and not taste to sweet like some I've had before.Just wish they were a little meatier. The mash potatoes were a real step above in both taste and presentation. No room for dessert,will have to come back and explore more of the menu and save room for the homemade desserts.A return visit is a must Wonderful to have such a place just 15-20 minutes away! read more

The food was great. There were 5 of us. Everyone enjoyed their food which included steak, ribs, chicken piccata, etc. BUT THE NOISE LEVEL WAS AWFUL. YOU COULDNT HEAR ANYONE AT YOUR OWN TABLE FOR THE NOISE LEVEL. Hard walls, reflective surfaces made for a bad situation. 5 stars for food, 1 star for ambiance due to extremely noisy environment. So that averages out to 3 stars BUT if you hate noisy environments then avoid this restaurant for now. All 5 of us said we won't come back unless they find a way to silence the noise. If the owner reads this hopefully they will bring in someone to put a significant number of sound absorbing panels in the room. read more

Went here for the first time and was super impressed. The decor is beautifully done and has that clasic supper club ambiance. The relish bar was a great addition ($5/person) - lots of dips, pickled vegetables, breads ticks, etc to choose from. Also, the complimentary bread at the table and the butter were amazing, we took the leftovers home. I got the walleye piccata which was delicious and a very generous portion. My wife got the filet which she said was decent - not a top tier steakhouse quality but still above average and done well. Drinks were also good - i got the relish old fashioned which had cinnamon in it - it was good but a little too sweet for me to do again though I'd definitely opt for it in the colder months. They had a generous drink selection and had both monthly drink and food specials. The service was also excellent and attentive - they noted the food intolerances we had noted when making the reservation and were happy to accommodate. We'll definitely go back again. read more

The best I mean the best supper club in the area! We went for our first time on what was their 1 year anniversary and was greeted with an old fashioned! Probably the first time in my life I was offered a free old fashioned. The atmosphere is classic Wisconsin. Animals on the wall, servers were extremely nice and drinks were flowing. I got their chicken schnitzel and it was great! We also enjoyed their supper club ice cream drinks. Can't wait to go back! read more

While they may be newer to the supper club scene, Relish has done a great job of making it feel like they've been around forever. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable with an inviting vibe. Our bartender & waitress couldn't have been nicer. I of course had to start with the "relish bar" which was a fun twist on a classic - building your own plate from a buffet of pickled veg, pub cheese, sausage, breadstick crackers, and deviled eggs. We also ordered some cheese curds and thought they were some of the best in the area - pillowy and unique in using muenster vs cheddar curds. For my main, I did a full-sized house salad and added one of the best crab cakes. Others ordered chicken schnitzel and the fish fry. No one was disappointed. We will be back! read more
