I've been here twice now, once for a Friday fish fry, and once for regular dinner. For the fish fry, we started out with calamari as our appetizer. It was very good, and the marinara it was served with added that extra little zing. For my meal, I got the Sampler, which is walleye, perch, and cod.It comes with tartar sauce, cole slaw, rye bread, and your choice of potatoes. I chose fries. I don't eat cole slaw, but the rest of the plate was delicious and very filling. The fishes were all breaded with the perfect amount and fried to a perfect golden brown. I, personally, would have preferred a bit more creamier tartar sauce, but it was good. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like they should be. Hubs got the walleye plate with potato pancakes, but said that the fries were better. On our second visit, we went on a Saturday night. Hubs wanted the prime rib. I chose the Jaeger Schnitzel and had a Mary Pickford as my cocktail. Hubs said the cocktail was perfect, but I thought it was too heavy on the rum. It's made with Bacardi, not my favorite, and I thought I would taste more pineapple. The meal starts off with your choice of soup or salad, and we both chose the soup. It was tomato soup with chicken and rice tonight, but it does change daily. I'm not a fan of tomato soup, but this was delicious! The chiken and rice were both thoroughly cooked to a nice level of softness. The Jaeger Schnitzel (pork) was pounded thin and evenly breaded with a nice coating that formed a uniform crust. It was topped with a mushroom gravy, which I wish there had been just a little bit more of. Overall, it was very nice. The plate comes with a healthy side of red cabbage and spaetzle. Both were good, but Melanie L. nailed it....I couldn't place the herbal taste of the cabbage until my husband referred me to her review. It was definitely cloves. I didn't think it was heavy handed, but just enough that you could definitely taste it. As for the spaetzle, it could have used a little bit of salt. I let it soak up some of the juice from the cabbage to compensate, and that worked fine. When you order dinner, you get a small relish tray and a basket of rolls and breadsticks. I didn't eat much of that, because I didn't want to get filled up before my actual dinner arrived. That being said, I made it through, but I was STUFFED. If you are a big eater, you probably would have been fine, but I just can't eat a lot in one go. FYI, they do have boxes, if you need to take something home. I had never been to Wegman's, so I can't compare the two, but I can say that Ricky's is definitely doing something right. It has been busy on both of the nights I visited, but service was attentive, efficient, and the timing was excellent between dishes. stopped in after a hectic day and ordered a perch fish fry. Once the bartender could drag herself away from chatting with the customers. I figured no big deal....ordered an old fashion and was told 10 min. 25 later I inquired about my order ... Leaves to the kitchen, has my order and says sorry. Upon coming home wrong fish fry! Called, manager said can't do anything over the phone !! Huh !! TacoBell can do something over the phone !! Could have cared less! Unfortunate because I enjoy there food !! Ricky's is Wegner's with a facelift. It's cleaner and brighter in both the dining room and the bar. Decor is more understated, and gone are the racing knick-knacks from the bar area. I think the new look is what helps elevate the atmosphere to a more supper-club vibe. The menu feels essentially the same with a few tweaks to some items. It wasn't terribly busy when we arrived for dinner, so we had our pick of tables to sit at. Our waitress was very friendly and kept a close eye on us, making sure our drinks were as always full and that our plates came out at a perfectly timed pace. No clutter, no mess, no feeling rushed to finish. We were started off with a relish tray and rolls. I can't recall the last time we saw a relish tray- staple of a supper-club. It's just veggies but they are a great pre-dinner snack. I had the beef rouladen, my husband had the schnitzel. The dinners were good, but not the same. We both noticed a heavy clove flavor to the red cabbage. I love clove so it didn't bother me at all. However, I know the some people do not, so just watch for that. The beef rouladen no longer has pickle in it, just the onion. While it was good, I missed that tang that the pickle brings. The spaetzel was cooked perfectly, just needed a little salt. We were excited to try this new restaurant. Heard great things. The giant nostalgic bar takes over most of the first room when you walk in. Very historic building and plenty of seating space. Bathroom configuration was a little odd. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the prime rib, and it was absolutely wonderful. Just your standard Wisconsin supper club: goos good, fair pricing and outstanding service

My friend and I had passed this Inn many times and finally decided to stop for lunch. It was a wonderful surprise. The food was excellent. We also ordered their onion rings for an appetizer. They were the best we ever had. To add to the positive visit, the service we also excellent, very friendly and attentive to all the tables. Ambiance was very pleasant and everything was very clean. Recently moved to the area and this was our first time here. Love the old school supper club vibes. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We started with the calamari, it could've been cooked a minute longer but it was still good. The martini was absolutely delicious. Cannot beat the prime rib special for $27. It came with a generous sized salad (or soup), and a huge baked potato. We will definitely be back. read more

Supper club near me with a nice vibe. Stopped in a few times. The service is quick and attentive. The food reminds me of home cooking and is so delicious. Fish fry visit and I had a nicely breaded walleye and the potato pancake was perfection. The following visit was the Rouladen (a thin strip of beef rolled up with onions and fried with a delicious gravy). The last visit and the Prime Rib was the specialty....3 sizes and delicious (accompanied with a baked potato). The weak link is the ho hum salad. New family in charge at this popular restaurant. An older place with limited parking spaces in a small lot, it looks very nice inside, Our weekday lunchtime waitress was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed a tasty lunch with two friends. Two specialty salads and one great looking burger. Everything was generous, attractively presented, and reasonably priced. First time at this establishment- why didn't we come here sooner! Great prime rib offering on Saturday night. My friend said prime had great flavor and was done just as ordered. I had the filet and I have to say the size and flavor were as good as or better than some high priced steak houses. Standard sides were offered - salad / soup / potatoes. Relish dish...yes - please! Our servicer was very personable and checked in with us often. We also had dessert. Great in house made offerings. The carrot cake was our choice. They have cleared the clutter and simplified the look of the dining room. You can also eat in the bar area, too. Open for lunch...and they also offer week day specials - check the website or call for the restaurant. Reasonable pricing on menu items. Service was excellent - friendly, professional, accommodating. We dined there last night, Feb 28, 2026. Website menu is very incomplete. Ruben Rolls appetizer was delicious. One of our cocktails, a French 75 was poorly made. The Canadian Walley entree was excellent. The Wiener Schnitzel entree was very disappointing - spaetzle was very soggy, red cabbage was poorly made, schnitzel was a nice size and acceptable, but had almost no sauce over it. And, the little sauce that was present was poorly made not at all a good match for the schnitzel. The prime rib entree was excellent. The tenderloin sandwich was okay. It can get a little loud in there, but the decor, seating layout and atmosphere are enjoyable. We would go back, but avoid the items that were not enjoyed. read more

I had the beer battered walleye fish fry and it was delicious. Along with the yummy sides! I highly recommend!
