I ordered a double cheeseburger combo and my associate ordered a single burger combo. The burgers are customized to order. There are many different options to choose. I'm traditional - ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onions. We were called when our order was ready. Self service utensils and condiments. Sodas from a Coke Freestyle dispenser. My cheeseburger was juicy. Relish restaurant in Tallahassee opened in 2019. The chain originally started in Gainesville, Florida, but we won't hold out against them! From the outside, the restaurant looks deceivingly small. But on the inside, there is ample seating across from the line to order as well as a separate dining room, and patio seating outside. It looks like they're also building a secondary patio outside for additional seating. When you enter, there is almost always a line of people waiting to place their order. The line moves, relatively swiftly and efficiently, and kudos to the staff for processing everybody with a smile! You need only order your burger and drink. As you move through the line, you can decide what toppings you want to add on your burger, bun, including lettuce, tomato, red, onions, jalapeños, grilled or fresh mushrooms, and plenty of sauces! The handspun milkshakes are delicious and they'll add whip cream on top also. At the time of this writing milkshakes are $5.25 which seems like a bargain in Tallahassee! My dining companion and I each ordered the single tasty burger for $6.45 and a milkshake. The total for two was under $26.00 We knew better than to order fries because we ordered the shake, but we've had the fries in the past and they are crispy and delicious! I recommend trying one with Swiss Cheese rather than the Traditional American Cheese, which pairs nicely with the seasonings of the patty. If you're hungry and Relish looks appetizing: It's a damn good burger, but it takes a while to satiate your hunger. The joint fumes with aromas of sizzling Angus topped with cheese and onions sauteing nearby, and your stomach is begging for you to fill it, but you're not gonna get that burger for a solid 15 minutes.
