#1 So far, best smash burger I can find in Tallahassee. A lot of people just say that. "The best bla bla". But I'm being very serious. This one is the highest ranking in the smash-burger category. Tallahassee is a big place. I will also include Thomasville GA. I'm a burger fanatic, and I'm compiling a ranked list of burgers you can get in each category for selfish reasons Having said that, Trap Boy Burgers is not a restaurant. It's a cool dive spot to get these magnificent burgers. Don't expect anything else. Even the bathroom is filled with equipment. I hope the internet makes these people rich so they can maybe get a second location

I would have to say the burger was really good and the trap sauce added to the flavor. My isssue were the fries I understand inflation is real and everything cost more now but for the fries to be 3.99 and to be half full when I got it was disappointing even if there were some bag fries I would have been okay. My suggestion definitely get the burger but pass on the fries.

Above average cheeseburger, had a great taste, the sauce was also pretty good. It's definitely overpriced as there is no combos. The staff is friendly. Despite the electronic ordering display the place isn't very aesthetically pleasing and doesn't have good seating.

My daughter made mention chili was good but a lot of beans for her liking. But flavor was great! Also ordered Pastrami Ruben ( no burger patty) & onion rings with 2 dipping sauces for an up charge of $.75 cents each. Sandwich & onion rings were great. Our server was polite & attentive. Food came out in a timely manner. My only feedback would be when there is an up charge we should have been notified and asked if that is okay. I didn't mind paying for the sauces & all flats but it's customary and appropriate for the waitress/water to notify of additional charges. We will definitely be back though.

High volume, people constantly coming and going, and I can definitely see why it's a local favorite. Unfortunately, there were some misses. The floors were sticky, the tables were sticky, and our onion rings came out room temperature. The fries were soggy, also room temperature, and just didn't taste fresh. The burgers, though? Outstanding. My burger was seriously spicy--and I LOVED it. Easily the highlight of the meal. Service was friendly, but after asking for our check, we waited about 10 minutes and eventually had to get up and look for our waitress. Granted, they were crazy busy, so I understand--but it was still annoying. Overall, I can absolutely see why people love this place, especially for the burgers and friendly staff. It just wasn't enough for me to want to come back.

Love this cute little hamburger and fry joint close to TJMaxx in Tallahassee…read more They had the most delicious skinny fries lightly salted while waiting for our ride after an afternoon of shoppy shoppy. Staff was amazing .They came by our table several times to ask if needed anything after bringing our order and drinks. Loved the cool vibe with bar and decor. Would easily return when in the area.

They run a promotion where if you sit at the bar, your meal is half-off. Unfortunately, we were 4 people with a 9-month-old so bar seating was not in the cards for us. We walked up to counter and placed our order. 3 burgers, a chicken sandwich, two small bowls of fries and two small side salads. After tip, it was $96. I've had less expensive sit-down dinners with top-notch service for that price. Our food was brought out to us not too long after we ordered. I will say the food was good. I ordered a double cheeseburger. It was comically large and nearly impossible to eat. The patties were thick and the beef was fresh and savory. I did the build-your-own. Mine had pickles, lettuce, tomato and cheese. The fries were ok. We got the parmesan truffle fries. They had the slight earthy taste of truffle and dusted with parmesan. The side salads were good. The kale was fresh and crunchy, it had a light vinaigrette on it that didn't weigh down the salad and complimented the bits of tomato and carrot. In the end, we enjoyed the meal but couldn't get past the price tag. If there is a next time, we will pop our 9-month-old in her car seat at the bar to get this food at a reasonable price.

The restaurant was spotless, and the staff at the front counter were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I also loved the patriotic atmosphere. The American flags and the seals representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces were a great touch and made the place feel unique. I ordered the double cheeseburger with pickles, grilled onions, ketchup, and mustard. I skipped the lettuce and tomato because of the recent Cyclosporiasis outbreak, which was just a personal preference. I also got an order of fries and their diet cola. Everything came out hot, just the way I like it. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The fries, with their light breading, were crispy and just as impressive. While the meal was a little on the pricey side, the quality of the food made it worth every penny. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. If you're looking for a great burger in Tallahassee, Burger Barn Grill is worth checking out!

How can you tell if you are going to have a bad experience at a restaurant in the South?…read more There will be some signs I will share with you based on my recent visit to Big Randy's. Sign #1: Sweet tea brought to you is from a soda fountain and not fresh-brewed. Making fresh-brewed sweet tea does not cost much. The waitress admitted it to me. I cannot tell you how many times I have had an awful sweet tea from the tab and the the rest of the experience has gone downhill more times than stabilizing the sail. Sign #2: Buying ranch to go with your wings instead of at least being given an obligatory one. Wait...it gets worse...paying for a pre-packaged Ken's Ranch...not Ranch made in-house. Sign #3: BBQ sauce on your wings is Sweet Baby Ray's bought from the grocery store. That is what my wife received and I probably had Sweet Baby Ray's Gold on my overcooked wings. Sign #4: I haven't met many French fries I wouldn't eat but Big Randy's tested me. I couldn't eat them. They were like McDonald's fries except way too salty. My wife's fries had no salt. The only saving grace from a 1-star is at least they made my wings extra wet like I asked and the service was fine. That's how you earn a 2-star. Note: the fried pickles had more of a corn nugget batter and the floor was also very sticky.
