The Recycle guy got pissy and threw the totes across the driveway so as to block the delivery driver. Driver had to move them before she could back out of the driveway. In no way was the recycle guy hindered by the delivery, yet they felt the need to block her in. Several times we have had to have our totes replaced because they had been broken from rough handling. They at times leave trash in the yard and this time, they didn't even completely empty the one tote. A month or so ago the trash guy broke our mailbox post with the robotic arm. We had a 4" round post snapped off at the ground. Mailbox was damaged as well. The driver never informed us of the accident and never reported it. I called Rumpke and they replaced the post and the mailbox. After the issue with the recycling driver today, we canceled their service. Now we have to leave the trash bin and recycle totes by the road for 7-10 days because they won't step onto our property to retrieve them, and they cannot give us a specific day that they will pick them up. They lost us as a customer.
