This company sucks if your shipment gets damaged and forget about adding the safe shipping option. If you choose to have the package held at fedex for pickup the safe shipping is voided. We had a package of six bottles shipped via fedex to be held for pickup at a fedex office. Somehow the package was damaged by fedex and returned to remedy liquor without consent. They refunded to price of the 4 undamaged bottles less a $15 dollar per bottle restock fee. The cost.of shipping was not refundable nor the cost of the damaged bottles. This.company is a total rip off if somethine happens to the package. I have ordered a couple thousand dollars from this site i the past, not anymore. Piss poor customer service. read more

Remedy has scammed me out of $200. FedEx informs me that I can get reimbursed for the damaged package, all that's required is for Remedy to file for it. That's it. It's been two months, but Remedy won't respond to my emails or calls. I've been in the Glendale store many times because the prices are often good. 1 Star I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who purchased a Christmas gift from Remedy Liquors that was shipped directly to me. The item arrived damaged. The outer casing was visibly damaged upon delivery. The shipping box was not punctured, and the internal bubble wrap was intact, which strongly suggests the item was shipped in that condition. We notified the company within one hour of delivery and were told a ticket would be created. We were later informed that damaged items are not eligible for return -- even when they arrive damaged. My mother filed a claim with her bank. Remedy Liquors declined the reimbursement, and the provisional credit was reversed. She has now paid in full for merchandise that arrived damaged and has been offered no return, exchange, or refund. After reviewing their published return policy, it does not state that customers assume responsibility for merchandise that arrives damaged. The policy discusses returns of undamaged items and failed delivery attempts, neither of which apply here. This situation is disappointing, particularly for a company that promotes strong customer service standards. When merchandise arrives damaged, customers should not be left without options. I was told that only the liquor is important to them, not the box it comes in...then why charge me for the tin box? It is obvious they knowingly sent me the damaged tin box because the outside packaging was in perfect shape, no bumps, rips or damage of any kind anywhere on the outside of the shipping box. The inside was packaged tightly and wrapped in bubble wrap, again no sign of any damage...until I unwrapped it and saw the damaged product immediately. I will say it again HORRIBLE AND FRAUDULENT. Unacceptable experience with an online order from Remedy Liquor. I ordered 6 bottles and package protection. UPS damaged the shipment en route, self-reported their damage, and Remedy refuses to apply the package protection to replace this order. SO disappointing! I ordered one bottle 3 weeks ago for Father's Day. I was so excited about this bottle!! I got order confirmation but no follow up for shipping (checked every day!!) After 3 weeks, I reached out and they told me there was an error (on their end) and it hadn't shipped yet.. when I told them I needed it by Father's Day, they said my options are to cancel for a refund or ship anyway but it wouldn't arrive on time. I asked if there was a way to rush shipping and they "kindly" offered the option for me to pay nearly $40 for 2 day shipping!! This place has horrible customer service let's start there. Entering the business was never greeted once, never asked if I need help. Also upon asking about some bottles seen online they told us that it was only online purchase, but upon asking if we can purchase online and pick up at store since we were already there in human form, they told us that they didn't have them in store only can be shipped mine you this were (store barrel picks). Ordered liquor from the web site and the monies were removed immediately as expected , although I have yet to receive my alcohol. It was was ordered May 21st and I have yet to receive my product , 13 days later. I wrote to them and received a reply stating the holiday slowed the order, laughable at best. I want to start this review by saying that I've ordered from Remedy dozens and dozens of times with very little to no issues. Their prices are pretty stellar and the shipping is reasonable and usually pretty fast. Their communication is AWFUL so if you ever hope to have any kind of question answered, don't, because they pass the buck to literally anybody else that isn't them. On 05/11/2026 I got an email stating that "Octomore 16 series on MAJOR SPECIAL" and in fact it was on major special for the 16.1 the 16.2 and the 16.3 being sold for $359 for the 3 of them. Naturally I jumped on the deal and secured a package for myself. That same day the deal was no longer even available on their website. Not that it sold out, it was gone like it never existed in the first place. The next day my package was shipped and sent via FedEx. Sunday 05/15/2026 the package was in my state just waiting to get on the delivery truck and be brought to my front door. There was a request from the shipper that the package be returned to the warehouse. I called Remedy and attempted to explain the situation and the second the idiot on the phone heard "online order" he shut me down and told me that they have nothing to do with any of the online orders and that they do NOT have a phone number for the online order people. I've sent multiple emails to the "info@remedyliquor.com" and have literally NEVER received a response from them. This isn't the only time I've emailed them but I have never received a response from them for anything, ever. So 05/15/2026 my package got redirected from my home state back to CA. 05/20/2026 my package arrives back in CA and they sign for my package and it now shows as "delivered" and the order has been "completed" even though it's just back in their hands at their warehouse. I suspect what happened is that they didn't intend to list the bottles for the price that they listed them for. I think it's extremely shady to recall a package you shipped once it has traveled all the way to my home state. I think it's extremely shady that they never respond to any messages. I think it's incredibly unfortunate that they would give up a customer like me, someone who has spent tens of thousands over the years on purchasing Scotch from them. I will NOT be returning to them ever again. I don't care if they have low prices. There's no guarantee they won't do the same thing to you that they did to me. Tread carefully with this company. Remedy liquor did a presale on line for the wild turkey gold foil. The charged my card over a month ago then this week emailed me some BS lie about one of their packages being damaged. If this was true the distributor would have made the order whole. Being in the alcohol business for over 10 years I know this is a crap excuse. I ordered 2 bottles to save on shipping, and 1 of them was the wrong bottle upon delivery. Asked for a return label and replacement of the original bottle. Day goes by and I'm asked if I'd take $10 to keep it. I say no and ask again, eventually getting a return label, but never addressing whether they had the actual bottle I ordered. I immediately return everything safely and I get a refund 2 days later. Confused, I reply asking why the refund and if they have the bottle I ordered. It also left me with all of the shipping charges for the one bottle I wouldn't have gotten by itself. Ignored. Day goes by, so I sent another email that I would be happy to accept the original bottle without additional shipping. Ignored. Day goes by, so I ask again for a reply. Ignored. Next day, I did the only thing I could and left a 2 star review on Google (not even 1 star). I plainly explained the entire situation. I even said I've shopped there many times in person and online and know they're quite disorganized and they make you chase them if anything happens. I even have a friend who had an order "lost" despite the item still being in stock on their site, and took them months to cancel and refund the order. They do the bare minimum and you accept it because of the pricing, but they will frustrate you just as much as anything. It's almost never a fully happy experience. If you can't pick something off the shelf in person, spend a few bucks somewhere else that will actually care about your business. Next day I get an email offering to send the bottle I ordered with no shipping charge, and asking kindly if I would change the review to 5 stars if that's satisfactory. I thought that was pretty unreasonable, but they never made an overt demand, so I countered by saying I would accept and once it's delivered, I would take down the review as a token of appreciation (even though there's nothing to appreciate about a company trying to screw you and only acting to change an online review). Next day I get sent an invoice, only this time it's actually $3.48 more than I was refunded. So at this point I'm paying more for the inconvenience. I send another email to correct the price. Next day I get another email with the correct price. I pay it and send them a reply that I will take my review down once it's received, and thanking them (despite very little to be thankful for as they make every step excruciating). I get a reply back with the picture of my bottle confirming it is the right one and then they write "Once the review is removed, we will go ahead and ship this out and follow up with the tracking number". So now they're just brazenly holding the thing I originally ordered, and now paid for again, until I remove the review that they earned with terrible customer service and relative disregard. I'd done everything right up to this point, and the review is the only real leverage I have for them to care at all about me. At first I gave them the choice to cancel and refund it if they weren't going to send it out, or send it and I would take the review down. But as I sat on it for a few minutes, I told them to cancel and refund the order, and I'll be updating my review with this correspondence. The 1 star I gave them is honestly more than they deserve. I totally get that they would want the review to be taken down, but they wouldn't have gotten it in the first place, or I would have willingly changed it had they just focused on doing the right thing. The review is the only thing they actually cared about, not me as a longtime repeat customer. Well, that's the last time I'll pay them any patronage. The website showed a more expensive, hard to find bottle, and what they sent me was a cheaper, much easier to find bottle. It was from the same supplier, but a different product line. I emailed them to point out the issue and they told me that they would do nothing because the website states "packaging may vary." Horrible people and ethics! An order I placed over 2 months ago went missing en route. I had ordered the package protection. When the package went missing, suddenly my online invoice showed I didn't have the protection. Well I did purchase the protection, their website had a bug that removed it, without notice, from my cart. I documented the bug for them and shared my concerns. Initially, they seemed to understand the situation and assured me they would get right back to me. Well, that never happened. They don't want to have any responsibility when things go wrong. I have successfully had prior orders from them. They do sell legitimate things at decent prices. But, if something goes wrong, they don't do anything to fix the problem. They stop responding and seem to hope that I give up. I'm opening a dispute with my Credit Card provider on Monday if they don't fix this. I've been searching all over for El Tesoro Extra Anejo Paradiso... Aged 5 years in French Oak cask, it's smooth AF and batched in limited quantities. This tequila is in demand and hard to find. If you find it, it's usually a pretty penny. More than 2 years ago, I bought this bottle for $130 elsewhere. Currently, it's going for $200+. I found Remedy Liquor on Yelp and checked their website. Boom! They have it at $145 a pop. Drove out for a visit. This liquor store is a zoo. Small place with various inventory of spirits and wine. Bottles everywhere and signage isn't the best. So, it's a bit hard to find what you're looking for. Anyways, I found this bottle and 5 stars for the price. 3 stars for a tour of the zoo and the so so friendliness and service. I don't know what's happened to Remedy Liquor as it used to be one of my favorite online retailers for whisk(e)y, but in the last few years something has drastically changed and all the 1 star reviews show that... new, terrible ownership/management maybe? Their customer service is horrid and basically non-existent. They are rude, combative and non-responsive. They don't reply to emails in a timely manner, they've removed the contact form from their website and they will not take phone calls on online orders. They ignore what you put in the special instructions field when you order, and print it and include it in the box when shipped, almost like they're pointing out that they intentionally ignored your request. The only thing they have going for them is price, which only goes so far with such horrible customer service. They cancelled and refunded my most recent order after I kept asking when it would ship. They replied once to several emails saying the item was delayed, recently restocked and I'd get tracking info "soon". Around 2 weeks later I started emailing them daily asking when it would ship and all I got back was a refund email, no explanation, no apology. Bottom line - they don't care about their customers' experience and all you have to do is read their online reviews (especially their replies to complaints) to see that proven. My only experience with Remedy Liquor was through their on line website where I was quite pleased with all aspects of the transaction and delivery process. In looking at the other reviews it seems like there is definately a mixed and uneven customer experience with this company where in my instance I was on the good side of the coin flip. Relative to why I used Remedy Liquors for my purchase, I had been looking for over a year to get a bottle of the hard to find Knob Creek 12 Bourbon in my home state of Michigan but to no avail. As a result of this, I started looking on line for a retailer who is allowed to ship into my state, which is difficult due to state laws, where I came across Remedy Liquor which had very reasonable prices and could ship to Michigan. Using their on line web page the ordering process was easy, prompt shipment followed with good communication and tracking info along the way and most importantly, my liquor arrive safe and sound where I was quite impressed with the packaging. This packaging for a single bottle shipment was about as robust as I have ever seen with a very thick inflated plastic sleeve providing the protection. This is definately something to keep in mind when you consider the frequent abuse you see with shipments from the various shipping companies especially when the shipment is a glass bottle with liquid in it! Overall, based on this experience I definately can see myself buying from this retailer again in the future especially when looking for hard to find liquor where price is also a factor. read more

It arrived with a broken seal and leakage, making it unfit for gifting.
