    Regular hair/beauty mart the only downside is all the plastic they wrap around each product and the amount of time it takes to undo at home. Just go somewhere else and get your goods You'll save time

    Rude.... can't get any help.. Don't be in this business if you don't know about weaves or hair care.. They just stock and let it sale. Taking all the tape off to get to your products is ridiculous and tacky. I don't see the purpose of just being nasty.. if you don't blacks, do something else. Always opening stores (food, hair supplies and nail shops) but be mad rude. That's why people are stepping up and starting their own businesses. I just just hope we can shop black and put them out of business

    I can't believe I've been driving all the way to Mid-k on southern when this one is so much closer. It's not as big but they have a good selection so hair products. As strange as this sounds, I found this store to be much more welcoming. No one did anything special it's just a feeling I got, maybe because it's so bright and the aisles were wide. This is definitely where I'll be shopping moving forward!

    They sell the fake ghost bond glue that doesn't come in a box. They do not do cash refunds.

    Really bad customer service and they won't let you try on wigs. Yuck! Don't shop for your wigs here.

I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.

The service was rushed but I don't mind moving around creation if it'll save me a hour or two in the chair. Most of the work was done by an awesome new assistant in the beginning. Jessica was very much involved though throughout the process. When Jessica brought me to the bowl to rinse, she sounded excited that the color looked better than when I walked in. And yes, it is better, but the root lines are still super visible given the really sharp starting point of the previously bleached strands. I paid her and tipped her but I'm slightly underwhelmed now that I'm in natural light. (The lighting in there is wayyyyyyyyyy different I think.) Unfortunately, I fly out of here tomorrow and won't have time to give her the opportunity to make it better for me. Then again, it isn't awful just kinda meh right now for a $70 (w/$10 Yelp coupon) treatment. She texted him personally to make a Saturday afternoon appointment for me and sent pictures of the wolf-cut I desired. I arrived on time for my 2pm appointment and was greeted by Thanh and seated immediately. I showed him the pictures again. Then he asked me if I wanted to shampoo my hair, which I agreed to. Then we got straight to work. At the end of my cut, he made sure I liked the result, to which I asked for my bangs a bit shorted and he readily obliged. I paid $45 (excluding an additional tip) in cash, but I didn't inquire further if they also accept card or if there's an additional fee for paying by card. I looked around the salon for a menu of costs of services, which he said there wasn't one. No problem, I plan on coming back for haircuts only anyway which I know are $45! Otherwise, I'll text him personally asking for other services if I want them! All in all, I was in and out the door at 2:00 and 2:30 respectively, literally (I looked at the clock).     Honestly very disappointed in my haircut. I was initially enticed by the $45 price but it felt…read moreextremely rushed, mediocre, and hardly like the inspo photos I showed the stylist. I would rather go a salon that actually cares about their customer service and attention to detail at a higher cost - you're getting what you pay for, if not less. Firstly, my stylist was on her phone for a full 4 minutes in the middle of my 18-minute (fast? or rushed?) haircut without explanation; I would be more understanding if I were given a heads up about a personal emergency or something, but to simply step away from your client and text nonstop at the front desk without saying anything, is unacceptable. Secondly, I've never been to a salon where my hair was not washed prior to it being cut; until I came here. My hair was not even styled at the end (see photo of when I got home right after my appointment). Thirdly, it's the bare minimum to ask your customer if they like their haircut, or smile at the end. When I was paying at the front desk kiosk, my stylist went straight back to texting with the click clack of her fake nails on the phone screen. I stood at the desk for a good minute or so after payment was completed before she looked up, and quickly said "bye thank you". There were no other customers in the store except for the nail artist and her client in the shared salon space. I would NOT recommend this salon to any of my friends and advise you to get your haircut elsewhere if you care about professional service and a good haircut.
