Stopped into REN Coffee, which is tucked inside a super cool shop called Alley Cats -- kind of a vintage / consignment vibe with character everywhere you look. It's one of those spots where you walk in and don't even know where to look first. There were plenty of people working, and since I had no idea what to order, the girl at the counter walked me through their options and gave recommendations without rushing me. That already made the experience better. I went with the Cinnamon Roll coffee, and wow -- it was so good. Just the right hint of sweetness without being overpowering. It tasted like comfort in a cup but still balanced and smooth. Great vibe, friendly staff, and a coffee I'd absolutely order again. I'd definitely come back.

I'm suprised that I haven't reviewed Ren. Ren has quickly become my go to spot for matcha during the weekend. Their matcha is such good quality. Expect to wait for a good 20 minutes. My go to order is the Pistachio matcha. The vibe is chill. A grab and go kind of spot .

This coffee shop is located in a beautiful space, surrounded by trees, plants and flowers, with very nice areas to sit and relax; however, the quality of their coffee is under par and the wait to get your order is extremely long. I have not tried their food items, so I cannot comment on their quality, but the coffee I ordered (cortado) was way off the mark. Not a place I will go back to.

Went to get matcha today even though I was hoping to be able to get the coquito holiday special. It was disappointing to visit for the second time and not having the drink I want. The first time they didn't have matcha. However the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me pick out a match with baklava syrup, cold foam and pistachio milk. Very filling and flavorful. Would def love to go back for coquito before the special ends!

I went to the new location in Davie on Flamingo road. It was a nice location within the nursery. The line was super long but I think it may be because they just opened two days ago. The cinnamon bun latte is super delicious and the cold foam literally tastes like the icing of a cinnamon bun. I am not a huge fan of avocado toast but my friend purchased it and it was actually extremely flavorful and delicious. It was a bit expensive for the avocado toast but overall very good. The service as great and all the workers were very inviting and seemed happy to be there. I will be returning

Ren Coffee Cart is a a great matcha and coffee spot that pops up in different spots with their current home inside of Alley Cats Vintage showroom in Hollywood. I've been meaning to come out and try Ren Coffee Cart and got to visit during their first week at Alley Cats. I am a matcha-lover and this is probably my favorite matcha in Broward County. I've been trying to find my go-to specialty matcha drinks and their menu has such a great variety, it was so hard to choose. They're super popular so there might be a line but it's worth the wait. The space they have is a bit small but fits the vibe. They have a small couch area within the store that you can sit and enjoy your coffee/matcha or even wait for it there. You can also peruse the showroom for some vintage goodies. Lani and her team are friendly and helpful and bless them for pumping out all those caffeine orders with their sometimes super long lines. When I first went, I got the matcha einspanner w/ pistachio milk (yes, they have pistachio milk!) and the matcha coconut cloud. Both were top tier but the einspanner took the cake for me. It was so good, I came back the next morning with a group of friends (sorry to contribute to the long wait times that morning) and we all got our caffeine fix. I can't have coffee but one of my friends got the "viral" cinnamon bun latte and, safe to say, they will be back. I got the salted pistachio matcha this time and it was good but nothing beats that einspanner. Their menu has a good variety to choose from but they'll easily have you coming back to try different drinks and their prices are probably the most reasonable I've seen for a specialty matcha in South FL. You can also customize your drink with different add ons and they are super transparent and fair about their pricing. Love love loveeee this spot and can't wait to trek out to Hollywood anytime I need my matcha fix for a lil "treat yourself" moment!

Ren. Located inside alley cat . Was hard to find but once u know its in alley cat. Your good. Drinks. Are really good Vanilla latte with foam. Pretty sure house made syrups. Very balanced. Really good latte Pistachio matcha latte. Also very good. Good matcha flavor. I like the crushed pistachio. Great drink Matcha einspanner also very good. Not too sweet. Balanced Drinks 5/5 Wait was brutal. They are too busy for this spot. And can't bang out drinks fast enough. But the quality of drinks. Will drive me back

Edit: this is now my second time this week. The line is insane and waiting 20-30 mins for a coffee is a sin. Just call me a coffee sinner I guess. tik tok blew them up but I hope they are here to stay forever and ever. Will follow for their salted honey latte wherever they end up!!! With only one latte or (apparently best ever) matcha being made at a time it's well worth the wait and in a few years we can say we knew them way back when. they made one drink at a time

Buzzing all over social media as a pop up coffee shop in a vintage clothing store called Alley Cats, so of course I had to experience this concept, which lately is a recent popular trend. Entered the nostaligic shop and was shocked by the line of thirsty coffee enthusiasts huddled next to vintage clothing. Four baristas were working the coffee cart which was a pleasing sight, but also several customers were lounging the sofa awaiting their brew. Ordered a Matcha Einspanner for $8.00 which was recommended by the cashier. Browsed the vintage clothing for twenty minutes then heard my name called by the barista echoing through the shop. Gladly took possession of my cold Matcha which was refreshing and tasty, although after four big sips it was empty and half ice.

ALRIGHT. I've seen so many TikTok's, Instagram tags about this coffee cart! So naturally I had to jump and try it. It is located in a cool vintage store - while waiting in line I was able to browse through the racks and found some cool items. Yes the line was long but not too bad. So many options to choose from, they're known for matcha but I'm not a matcha girlie. Coffee - yes please! Different options and all sounding so delicious. I went with the salted honey latte and it wasn't that sweet which I was happy about. It was really nice! My man got a cafe con leche and it was really nice as well. Two great picks! Now we waited a while for the drinks which is to be expected because they only have one espresso machine. Which is understandable! Patience is key. The ladies working were great, they were doing the best they could. I made some quick convo with one of the girls working and she was super sweet! Parking is a little bit of a mission but found a spot. The line gets longggggggg - but the end result of sipping your coffee or matcha is worth it. I loved the vibe in there. Can't wait for them to get their own place, coming back to try more!

My boyfriend & I are visiting from New York and came across this cute cafe on TikTok! We were super excited to try it, they did not disappoint! The banana matcha was AMAZING!! My boyfriend enjoyed his drink as well. We did also get the Cinnamon roll iced latte which was just okay. We were waiting for about 30 minutes, but since this place is inside of a thrift store, we did some shopping while we were waiting :) The service was amazing, the girls were super sweet and accommodating as well. I see the reviews talking about the wait time, it's obvious you're going to have to wait, there's one person making the drink, and the other taking orders. They handcraft each beverage! 10/10 recommend .

HANDS DOWN THE BEST MATCHA IN ALL OF THE LAND. Excellent ingredients. Excellent service. Amazing flavor, color and consistency. Highly recommend the einspanner matcha. I want this every single day now. Obsessed.

Salted Pistachio Matcha w/ pistachio milk
    Shanice G.

Salted Pistachio Matcha w/ pistachio milk - I liked that on the menu it gave you the option for sweetness level and ice level. I got the 16 oz. Start to finish I was probably there 30 minutes waiting in line and for my order. I had time on a Sunday and I enjoyed browsing the apparel so that was fine with me but if you're in a rush this wouldn't be the place to bet on for a quick in & out. I enjoyed the salty pistachio garnish and it's good to visit once but probably wouldn't return since I live farther out.

My family practically visit this particular location daily. Yes, daily and we love everything about the company and the people they hire. On more than one occasion I have expressed how amazing the Cali crew is. How thoughtful and attentive to every person that comes to the shop. They know my family, my kids, what my car looks like and my order before I can even say it. If I change my order randomly, they make sure I'm okay since it's not normal for me to change :) The staff is ALWAYS friendly even when you just want to get your drink and go- which makes them special because it reminds me to just relax sometimes. Onto the drinks, I have had my share of favorites... First it was just a frozen or iced green tea, then I changed to a Sugar Free Charger back in the early days. One of the crew members put me on the Hot Pumpkin Chai- add white chocolate, drizzle, and cinnamon sprinkles, topped with whipped cream. BUT of course, the drink they all know I love is the Frozen Zero Hero lime, with Blue Razz and Cherry Drizzle - AKA The Fourth of July Drink... Seriously it's the best, and it hits every time especially when it's mixed to frozen perfection. Other wins for my family are Paradise Green Tea, the Strawberry smoothie with whipped walls, the birthday cake shake, and of course just a hot coffee. When I tell you we know Cali, we know ball, OKAY!

I guess her daughter who had just started working there and working at the window. I placed my order with the girl and then she proceeded to talk to the lady and gave her a drink, and then another lady came out the same car as that lady, approached the window. I guess this was another relative, gave her a drink and then a third lady came out from the same vehicle as the other two ladies and the girl at the window gave her a drink as well. I would say about 10 minutes, had gone by that this girl was entertaining these three women and taking pictures, while I was standing there waiting for my drink and my breakfast sandwich. My sandwich was cold when I came to the window to ask what's with the delay. At that time, the three ladies excused themselves. My drink hadn't even been started, This girl had the nerve to ask me if I had gotten my drink? Mind you there were five people in there working, but she was the only one at the window the entire time. I don't know where she disappeared to, but then another girl came to bring me my drink. I asked the other girl to please get me the manager. I spoke to the and explained the situation and told her that that was unacceptable behavior and very rude to have me waiting 10 minutes when I had ordered before this woman approached that window, for her to proceed and make them each a drink. Three drinks and completely forget about me and my order. The manager only said she had spoken to her and would speak to her again. I will not be returning to this location. 07/08/2026 @ 10:45am

She politely approached the truck and was told that they do not provide cups of water and that bottled water was available for purchase. When she explained she only wanted a little water to finish her drink, she was again told no and encouraged to buy a bottle instead. She politely declined and returned to her table where my kids were. As she was explaining the interaction to me and my son, an employee who had been cleaning a nearby table abruptly interrupted the conversation and said, "If you want free water, go to Starbucks." My wife was understandably surprised and said, "Excuse me?" The woman then made it very clear that she was the owner and proceeded to say things such as: "What coffee shop gives free water?" "Why do people always want everything for free?" "If you don't like our ways, you can leave and go to Starbucks." My wife calmly explained that she had not come there to argue, especially over a cup of water that had already been denied and was no longer a big deal. She also reminded the owner that we were paying customers and had not asked for anything for free. In fact, my wife had generously tipped before being treated this way. I told my wife to keep me on the phone and I seen the owner continuing to pace around my wife ranting about people wanting things for free. Another employee, who appeared to be her daughter, was heard telling her in Spanish, "Ma, ya, basta" ("Mom, enough"), but the owner continued. She then sarcastically offered my wife sink water now and remarked, "You can drink it at your own risk," but while continuing to tell her to leave and go somewhere else for free water. The entire interaction was bizarre, awkward, and honestly shocking. My wife and kids sat there completely puzzled and offended. I told my wife to leave and she did but not before telling the owner that they would gladly leave but that, as a business owner herself, she should work on her customer service before running her business into the ground over her mouth. What was most surprising was that other customers witnessed the exchange too. I heard over the phone while my wife was walking out a customer say "that's not right". My wife said the couple also got up and left too. Overall, between the overpriced coffee, lack of Wi-Fi that my wife said they told her they don't share with customers and most importantly the incredibly rude and unprofessional treatment by the owner herself, this is not a place we will be ever visiting again or recommending as locals. All that unprofessional treatment over my wife asking for a cup of water to dilute their overly sweet and overpriced drinks, what a joke.

The tea was acceptable. My visit was in February for high tea, and I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, I approached lady Hostess A and requested an indoor table. She informed me that the indoor seating was full but suggested I could sit anywhere outside. I proceeded to seat myself. There was no queue or other patrons waiting at that time. Mr. Waiter J..later informed me about reported issues with bees in the outdoor area, which I understood. I reiterated my preference for indoor seating, explaining that Hostess A had indicated no availability inside, which led me to the outdoor area. After I placed my order, other patrons arrived. Hostess A escorted them to outdoor tables and provided them with menus. This pattern continued with subsequent arrivals. I observed that all the patrons she seated shared a similar skin tone to hers, unlike myself. Furthermore, after patrons departed from the indoor area, Hostess A personally re-entered the outdoor area to escort these new arrivals inside, despite their arrival significantly after mine. One patron, whom she seated indoors, later returned outside..The inside was full but many cluents left in groups freeibg uo various table indore..She appeared to have many options..options that i was not offrerd after i my wish was express that i wanted an inside table Lady A indicating that indoor seating had been available. I also overheard her inquiring about reservations, suggesting that these patrons did not have one. Another patron seated near me was also offered an indoor table. Throughout this experience, Mr. J observed my predicament with the bees and proactively intervened to improve the situation. I shared my observations with him, and he offered me an indoor table, which I declined at that point. His exemplary teamwork and service in addressing the disrespect and unfavorable treatment I experienced were didpleased . My waiter, Mr. J.. was ok.. When I shared my observations with him, he suggested that Hostess A might have forgot about me. I found this particularly noteworthy given that two patrons were seated within arm's length of me, requiring her to navigate around me. My table was also positioned beside the entrance, a high-traffic area for incoming guests. While I acknowledged the possibility of oversight, I also reflected on the unfortunate phenomenon where individuals of differing skin tones are sometimes marginalized as in my case. I sat outside and while the bees was competing with my food. Mr. Jeh...consistently refilled my tea and checked on me frequently. The waiter also checked on me and acknowledged the bee issue. Mr. Jel ....was professionalism, kindness, and efficiency in attempting to rectify the situation were commendable. I would rate the waiter's quality as 3 out of 10, while Mr. jEl....service merits a perfect 10. Regarding the restaurant as a whole, I am profoundly disappointed. I had been enthusiastic about finding a tea house, as they are a rarity in South Florida.

Their prices also seemed fair and overly expensive like some coffee shops price their items at. They offer ample seating spaces inside. I would be back in the future. I recommend this place to others.

Front counter. Wines? I didn't need a menu, so not sure about the wines.
