Jess and Zach are the bomb diggity; I can't sing their praises enough! I have referred so many people to them and no one is ever disappointed. I look forward to coming here (almost) every week. The team is so friendly, payment options are easy, and, of course, the fish and seafood are all super fresh! Everyone is knowledgeable and even when it's crazy, Jess well spend a couple minutes talking to a customer to give recommendations or answer questions. They always have great energy and good specials (like giveaways and for holidays). You can even text her to have her put something aside for you so they don't run out before you get there (which happens often!). She knows me and knows my go-to (Atlantic salmon fillets), but she also knows I trust her and love a good deal (which she always has). The last time I went, I was eyeing her new prepared section (a game changer!) and she helped me in taking home three extra pieces than what I had planned to buy, with no regrets! The two pieces of parmesan encrusted salmon was a surprising preparation for me, but for $5 it was a no-brainer, and we quite enjoyed it (see picture)! I told her I wanted something quick for a lunch and she recommended the candy scallops (see picture)- again for $5. And again they were amazing. I had asked her what was her favorite in the case and she said it was the haddock with seafood stuffing. Ooh boy she was right. And because that put me at $15, she threw in an extra container of seafood stuffing! My (vegan) roommates may have hated me due to the lingering fish smell for days, but I'll never stop as long as Jess is my supplier!

They mail food that requires refridgeration without it. They then blame the consumer. I was supposed to receive some cheese as a gift, they mailed it by USPS ground in a document mailer that is NOT meant for that purpose without declaring it was perishable in nature. The cheese took 4 days to arrive. It was hot, and wet, and visible spoiled when I opened it. The plastic packaging on the cheese was partially cut open, so even if the cheese was mailed properly it would have been inedible. "Roman" and the people behind this business should be ASHAMED.

When I contacted them about the discrepancy, they were not understanding of the difference and told me that I should feel lucky to have gotten what I received! They were completely hostile at best. Not only is the fresh selection very good and inexpensive, but there is also a massive selection of frozen products that can turn a plain dinner into a fine dining experience. Langoustines, delicious pastas, soups, lobster, calamari, and so on. The prices are so low that, last weekend, we ended up analyzing the receipt figuring that they had made a mistake (they hadn't). The only knock on this place compared to big city purveyors is that the fresh selection is "safe," meaning they only sell fish that sell good volume, and don't wade into whole fish, west coast oysters, or more exotic oily fishes. They sell what sells (usually like, 8, varieties of fresh fish) and, believe me, it sells.

Every year, I drop a small fortune here. Center Port (don't know where the nearest port is...this is surrounded by pastures) sells a good variety of great quality seafood (at least for what can be expected in the middle of farm country in upstate NY) My Christmas Eve dinners are a seafood extravaganza and it all pretty much comes from Center Port. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you need preparation advice, they'll give it. I've paid with cash and with checks over the years. If you live in the area (or in my case-within a 45 mile radius), at least check it out.
