I just hosted my daughter's Baptism on February 13, 2010. I was so disappointed with the experience I had with this company! I went and signed a contact with the supposed owner of the company. It was a terrible experience, they didn't set up the venue like they said they would, the dj turn off the music half hour before the party was over, the guest were charged a $5 dollar fee for parking, when I specifically asks for this not to happen! They follow their contact, but they change their copy to their convenience. Not only are they unprofessional, but when I tried to call and mention all the mistakes they were extremely rude. I would like to start off by saying the place is beautiful. They sell you a good package and then the Bullshit starts. First we were having a 50th Anniversary party. No management or our coordinator were present at the party. Only the 2 person wait staff. We had 115 people and there were 2 waiters and a bartender. Again no manager to talk to about it because she said her name is Isabel, had to babysit her grandchildren instead of being at my $7000 party which she promised to be at to oversee. So many lies. The food was cold and not even made at the place because their was nothing on in the kitchen. Didn't even warm up the food they bought at Costco. I saw the bags they were trying to hide. The bartender had to go help because the waitresses were over whelmed being that there were only two. Ran out of fish. How do you run out of food at a place like this charging you $7000. We had to make our own drinks and eat cold nasty food. The dj was amazing. The decor was beautiful. What's even better is when we go to talk about it after, and mother is disrespected. Isabel starts talking in Spanish about us but we understand so they felt real stupid. Horrible. Then mandatory valet $5 parking in a wide open parking lot. Thieves and liars till the very end. I read Roses defense of her business but if she was there all day why didn't her crew know where to reach her. Why didn't she make an appearance at the event and check on it. Since you were there Rose did you talk to anyone from our party? Did you introduce yourself that day? Nope. Nor did Isabel. If she commits to planning a party she better be there for the party or pass it on to someone who can handle it. She said she would be there. Lies. So if you were there as owner you should have made an appearance. You should be ashamed to admit you own it with nonsense like this happening. You Ms Rose are very aware of what happened. No need to argue with you because I know and you know the truth. You just have to make me look bad so you can still get customers. I get it but beware consumers. For $7000 we shouldn't have to cut the cake with my dads hand. I have pictures to back up my story and video of us standing around waiting for help. You should be apologizing for me even feeling this way but you attack and even more shows me you are a thief with no conscious. Not even I am sorry. Rose, You make it seem like we went nuts when we showed up to your place. You weren't there so how do you know? Ridiculous that you won't accept accountability and are turning it in a very nasty way on me and my family. Not even one I'm sorry. I am going to wish you well in the future. My husband and I booked this venue for our wedding reception months ago when we knew we weren't able to find anything else that looked as nice or had a good layout. Plus it's close to our house. We had a certain budget in mind when we first started preparations but then that went out the window when we found out how expensive a nice wedding actually is. Still, we were trying to keep it low since we both knew our limits. The owner Rose met with us and instantly knew what we wanted as we explained ourselves. We did mention that we had a tight budget which she understood and showed us what they had available. The two out of the tree packages she showed us were promising, but when she whipped our the Dream Package and all the things it included, we knew it had to be that one. They covered the flowers, the cake, even chocolates for favors and that delighted me since I already bought the boxes and didn't have to worry about make them anymore! My first concern was about the cake since I had one already picked out and wanted to bring it, and that's when they told me they could make it for us for a cheaper price. That made me happy to make that decision so we signed up. Later when I brought up the cake and how much it would cost, it turned out to be $450 extra. The price was less than the cake I wanted originally from the bakery but it was still pretty steep. I really wanted that design, however, and stuck with it. As the months wore on, though, it became clear that the extra cost was going to be too much on us. However, they said they could take off the cake and provide a buttercream cake already included in the package. Problem solved. We were good. They were very quick to fix any issues. The only aggravation I had with the venue was the chocolate confusion. My sister had gone in person to provide molds for the chocolates since I didn't like their shapes, and I was told a month before that they could make the chocolates I wanted if I had the molds. They were giving her a hard time since they didn't know about making the chocolates. I mentioned names and dates, and they agreed to use the molds. I still made the other half of the batch since I needed 200 and they could only make 100, but in the end it turned out to be perfect. The chocolates they gave us were white when I thought they would be milk, and that created a nice little representation for both of us. On the wedding day, I got the flowers but found that I was missing a throwing bouquet. I thought maybe it was at the venue, but I couldn't talk to anyone since the office is closed on Sundays and that was the day of our wedding. I loved my bouquet and didn't want to get rid of it, but I didn't really have a choice and ended up giving it to someone else. I was also worried about hitting someone in the face with it since it was really heavy! In short, the colors of the reception was perfect, they provided everything I asked for (especially the centerpieces I really wanted for extra), the food and drinks were a success, and they were so good to let my family bring special bottles for our table and their table. This review is for the dance club with live music. The waitress yelled us for wanting separate checks for our group. I almost wanted to leave right there. when the owner was called about this, the waitress attitude improved a bit. There's a 2-drink minimum. Fine. There's no drink menu. so unless you ask the prices as you order there's no telling how much the bill is going to come out to. A small bottle of water (the cheap kind sold at Walmart) was $10.00. Really ? When my bill arrived, the waitress had rounded up the sales tax to the nearest dollar amount. I am sure this is illegal. She also added a tip of 24%+ to the check, for the horrid service. When asked how the tip was calculated, she stated it was an 18% tip. There was no disclosure anywhere they'd add a tip to the bill AND that it would be rounded up to 24%+. It is a total scam. They don't know the meaning of the word ethics. The only plus was clean bathrooms. Nevertheless, I did not come for the bathroom facilities. I would give it zero stars if I could. read more

Rose did the catering for my sister Jasmine's wedding reception on June 4, 2016 and she & her staff did an OUTSTANDING job!! She did all of the table set up which included beautiful center pieces. The food was delicious and bar service was amazing. EVERYONE had a great time & kept saying how good the food was & how beautiful everything was. Food was served promptly considering there was over 300 guests there. If I ever get married I would gladly continue the new tradition of hiring Rose! I would recommend her services to anyone. Had a really bad experience on Halloween night this year. I have been coming to this club for a few years now to either celebrate birthdays, to their amazing Halloween parties or to just simply dance to great music. This year, we went to the Halloween party and at the end of the night when it was time to leave the place, we realized valet parking had lost my car keys, they tried to blame me for keeping the key which I didn't, I even had a witness because I didn't arrive alone and still they tried to play the drunk and forgetful card which didn't even apply as I had not been drinking that night because I was the one driving. I spoke to the manager and he washed his hands off referring to that issue being a valet parking problem, which I agree, however, we don't go to that place to park our cars, we go there to spend money drinking and dancing and valet is a service offered by them so although independently owned, it is still a service associated to the club so they should have been more accountable. The valet parking owner/manager called me a liar and yelled at me, still he very nicely offered to Uber us home (3 of us to 3 different destinations) and he agreed to pay for half of the cost of making a new key. I agreed to it because at that point I had no way to prove they lost the key, it was one of those he said/ she said kind of thing. I had to leave the car there with all my belongings inside. I had to drive back to the place the next day (I live in north Broward) to recover my things from the car, which they opened for me using AAA and then I had to go back one more time on Monday to wait for a new key to be made. Once I got the key I tested their theory and I made a video that clearly showed they kept the key, it's a 2018 Ford Fusion with a keyless fob and you can't drive the car around without the key being within range once you had opened the door. So once I dropped the car off to valet, I had to open the door to get out of the car and I walked away to the club leaving the key inside the car, I even told the driver I had left the key in the cup holder. They claimed I kept the key; however, my video proved I didn't otherwise they wouldn't have been able to drive the car around the parking lot. Even with this proof, the owner and manager didn't step up to the platter and assumed responsibility along with the valet people and I got reimbursed only for half the price when they should have at the minimum covered the entire cost. It is not about the money but the principle and the way I was treated, I was super disappointed on how poorly they handled the situation. My birthday is tomorrow and we are going dancing to celebrate it this weekend as we always do. I would have picked this place over any other club, but not this time. I don't feel is fair to bring them business when they treated me so wrong. They ignored all my messages posted via different places and did nothing to help me or apologize for what had happened. I have been telling anyone I know, the learning experience with this incident is that I will never leave my car keys with valet people ever again, I will wait until they park the car and I will keep my keys. read more

Recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Renaissance on SW 8th Street... We used one ballroom for the ceremony, the lobby for cocktails then the grand ballroom for our wedding reception. Betty and Tony in the office were more than helpful from start to finish and made me feel like I could relax. I feel that what I spent considering everything was done for me in the same place was very reasonable and quality was up to par with ballrooms charging more. Overall I cant complain, I'm a very happy newlywed... A+ to Renaissance! read more

My wife and I got married at the Renaissance At The Gables this past weekend with a wedding that was literally planned in 2 months and I must say, EXCELLENT SERVICES. Rosy did an amazing job in getting everything together for us. She was flexible with our needs and always provided an excellent service guiding us. We would schedule time with her and she was readily available for us when we got there which was crucial for us since we were from out of town. Tony the photographer arranged a photographer for us on the 11th hour with a great price based on our budget. The day of the wedding, a few minor things needed attention, but nothing to jump about it. I got there ahead of time to ensure that everything was set up as I and my wife would expect and it was. The decorations and the flowers were beautiful. The lighting was great for us. We had our wedding on the Fontana Room and after the ceremony were moved next door with our guests while they prepare the place for the reception which was done in less than 30 minutes. Once the room was completed, our guests were moved back after a great bar service and hors d'oeuvres. The food was great. All of our guests raved about the food. We made the choice of the London Broil and the Scalloped Potatoes. The London Broil was perfect and the Scalloped Potatoes was a big hit for our guests; everyone wanted more. I must warn you though, this place is run by an entire family that really knows their business and is a 'Cuban' place which means is always really busy and loud when you go to meet with them. Rosy is a huge multitasker and it might give the impression that as she is juggling people on the phone, people that walk in, etc that she is not 100% with you; please trust me SHE IS. She is on the ball constantly. She is extremely passionate on how she does things and an extreme perfectionist; so don't take it to heart if you go visit her for your planning and she is all over. She is actually paying attention to you while at the same time ensuring that other events are planed as expected. She will do the same thing for your event and that is a welcome process. We will for sure use Renaissance At The Gables for any future events. The care and attention to detail that we received and the great service and flexibility is worth the money. At the end of the day all it really matters is the outcome of the event and for us we had a great time and so did our guests. read more

It was so hard to decided where I was going to make my daughters fifteens special! I looked and looked and when I met Tony and staff I fell in love!!! They were amazing and treated me like family!!! I'm truly blessed that they made my daughters night unforgettable!!!!! The day came and I was a nerves wreck but Tony knew how to keep me calm and relax and telling me everything will be prefect , yes indeed everything was amazing!!! Couldn't ask for a better place!!! Wedding 1-31-10 Renaissance at the Gables: Scala Ballroom My mom's comment to me during my wedding reception best describes my experience with the Renaissance..."I can't believe my daughter is having a Platinum Wedding." And I agree. I made all my receptions arrangements through Tony. I also used him as my photographer. He was very patient with me. Especially, since I stopped by to see him a zillion times. He gave me all the help I needed picking invitations, décor, center pieces, color coordination, etc. This was especially important to me since my bridesmaids and family didn't live close enough to help out. He was very flexible and gave me a lot of ideas to help me stay within my budget. We had a few issues with our first tasting so Tony gave us a complimentary second tasting to make sure everything would be prepared exactly to our liking...which it was. (The food came out just as we agreed for the wedding. I made a point to eat at my wedding, knowing that most brides don't get the chance. I even got compliments on the food from the guests.) My ceremony took place on the beach. Tony helped me find an inexpensive chair rental place which saved me over $100. From what I can tell, Tony and his videographer, Ted, from Eikon Photography captured the moments beautifully. (I don't have the pictures/video yet, but each time something important was happening I glanced up to see they were there to capture the moment.) Also, Tony's mom, Nancy, did a fantastic job with my bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. I was utterly flabbergasted by the number of roses in my bouquet. I spent the whole ride in the limo trying to count how many, but I kept loosing count when I got to 40-something. Tony took lovely shots of us around and inside the limo once we got to the reception. Family members kept sneaking out to tell us how lovely everything looked inside. All the tables were awesome. We opted to bring our own center pieces with rose petals instead of flowers to save money, but Tony surprised me with extra red rose petals on the bride/groom table, gift table, and sign in table. Also, I was only expecting a two tier cake, but we were given a three tier. The cake was tasty (although the slices could have been bigger). The DJ was OK. We brought all of our own music for the DJ, but he didn't locate our CD's until after the hors d'oeuvres. He kind of followed our instructions for the music. My main complaint was that he didn't announce/acknowledge the cake cutting, so my mom missed the event. But when I consider the bargain price of the DJ, I'm still satisfied. Besides, he did a good job of building up our comic dance to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" from the movie Old School. Everyone was happy with the open bar (also included in the price). Oh, I also got a lot of compliments on the champagne. Our sweetheart table was adorable. I felt like royalty. Everyone said they thought my smile was going to be burned on my face because I could not stop smiling for a minute. I had all the bells and whistles while still sticking to my budget. I am a natural spas for things, I am a perfectionist and very picky and the team at the Renaissance fit PERFECTLY into my crazy tendencies lol. Rose was AMAZING!!! Yes, she is the owner, yes she multi tasks, so when you go in don't be let down do to her multi tasking tendencies because she is on point with each and every couple. She remembers every detail from past conversations you will have with her and picks right off from other times you've gone in and knows where to continue and how to put you at ease even when you have no idea what to do next. She really is AMAZING and amazing doesn't even cut it. Now the flourist is Nancy, let's just say she spoiled me like a daughter and she has the habit of doing that with every bride. She went above and beyond helping me out with ideas to decorate for my GATSBY THEME WEDDING!! She even went out of her way to lend me a few things here and there that I didn't have. The photographer and videographer TONY, he did NOT miss a beat !!! He made sure I took pictures with everyone and even reminded me to grab my mom for a picture since she was all over the place helping entertain. He took control when things were close to getting a bit chaotic due to people wanting to take cellphone pictures or grab me for a chat. He came in putting things in order so I could get pictures out of the way quickly and effortlessly while enjoying my night. They say brides normally don't get to enjoy weddings much due to pictures, videos and guests. I can't say that happened with me, I enjoyed absolutely every single minute of my wedding! BTW, I got married may 26, 2017, today is June 17, 2017 and I already have my pictures to choose from for editing!!! Went to the Club with my friend and her husband after a New Years Eve party we attended. My friend remembered it to be cool and that the music is fabulous -- we got there and the music was cool -- we were standing at the bar and asked for some drinks and started to talk to the 2 bartenders there -- one of them had not been there long and the other we later learned was the owner's son -- we were also talking to some other people at the bar -- my friend was talking to the owner's son and i was talking with her husband and others who were standing at the bar -- i noticed something not right with my friend's conversation with the owner's son -- turns out the owner's son asked is she was single, she pointed at her husband and told him we came together -- he proceeded to ask if i was single and then he said 'cause i had a nice body and that he would take me upstairs to f_ _ k me -- she was shocked and so was the young bartender standing next to him, he tried to apologize for the owner's son -- she asked for the manager and the owner's son said he was the manager with a smirk on his face -- the bouncer came by and apologized to us and wanted to give us free drinks -- we were so disgusted with the whole ordeal -- that a person working there -- especially someone related to the owner, would say such a thing and be so disrespectful -- we couldn't believe it, we were horrified. Hopefully the owner of the club will read this and take note that his son is an animal and not only would we not ever go back there, we will be spreading the word that this sick individual works there and is treating women this way. To begin with we paid our wedding off in a few payments. Whenever we would call to verify our balance.They would always be short a thousand or so which is absurd..luckily we keep good records and would print out all of our checks and fax them to the people at renaissance. This happened 3 times, and we were always patient and nice and never lost our cool with them even though it was frustrating. We booked everything with them, from limo to pictures and video.BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.. The Limo which we booked to pick me up from my house take me to the venue then take us to our hotel..was 30 minutes late picking me up.the air conditioning barely worked The limo dropped me off at Renaissance and when the wedding was over and we called them to pick us up.they said when tony booked it he told them it was a one way trip..luckily a few friends had stuck around and drove us to the hotel. Where should I begin.Tony and his mother no where to be found....which is funny because I booked Tony as our photographer and some guy who spoke no english showed up to take my pictures.The flower decorations we payed 40 dollars for to be put cascading on the cake? were sitting next to the cake and one of their employees asked my guest to arrange the flowers.since she was "a girl and would be better at it".They did not set out my envelope box or my cake cutter..my bridesmaids had to go on the hunt for that.. When it came time for me to walk down the aisle...The moment I had been dreaming about...the DJ played the wrong song, come to think of it even at the reception he played 2 songs from the list of music we had provided him and he mis-pronounced our names and the names of our bridal party as he introduced us. The comes the matter of my wedding pictures. In my pictures just to give you a few examples..I could see people smoking in the background, the camera mans face reflected in the window of the limo, there was a 6 foot ladder in the background of all of my pictures, the camera man took only 1 photo of my entire bridal party, never got a picture of just my mom and me, he wouldn't do retakes if he saw people weren't looking or something was messed up as was evident when I viewed the pictures. The one picture of me full length where you can see my dress and the train......my train is still folded under itself at some points. It was just the sloppiest work I had ever seen in my life....When I called Tony to complain I thought he would be understanding and do whatever he could to help us since we had been so patient with them when they screwed up our money all the time....his answer to me? YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....What do you want me to do about it? I went crazy when I heard these words. He finally agreed to take the pictures back and edit them for me.This was in May.I called and left messages and e-mailed and never got a call back from renaissance...I always just had to keep calling until tony was "available".sometimes my husband would call and tony would be "out sick" and I called 20 min later and Tony answered.. I FINALLY got my pictures on Sept 12..Tony claimed they were mailed out on September the 3rd and I kept calling because I hadn't received them, and he kept insisting they had been put in the mail.when I looked at the envelope the date on the envelope was september 9th..Every single day I spoke to him he was lying to me, .the worst part was I waited 5 months to get my pictures back and they were CROPPED.that's it.no enhancement to change of background, no black and white, no sepia nothing.the picture we loved we will have to take to a professional to edit because behind us all you see is power lines. It became evident that after you gave them your money you became worthless to this company.My guest did seem to enjoy the wedding but that's only because they weren't on the inside seeing everything that went wrong and how they treat people after they have taken your money. read more

My wedding was held here on July 4, 2015 and here is my experience : My ceremony was beautiful. The decor was really nice and it was intimate like I wanted. Rose set up the room as if she was getting married and it was nice. Reception: I feel like I paid a lot of money for a lot of NOTHING! My reception was a mess. Firstly, when I first decided to go with this place I did a walk through and the facility was ok. Not drop dead gorgeous but good enough for someone on a budget. As the date neared I noticed that the carpet in the reception hall and on the stairs was VERY worn and there were a lot of obvious imperfections that were visible (that weren't before). Also, the staff was AWFUL. None of the servers spoke English (or would admit to speaking English) and they served the appetizers cold. Also, when it was time for the main course they served the salad and the meal wasn't served for about an hour. My coordinator had to go and inquire about the main course before it came out. The meal itself was amazing (all of my guest really enjoyed it). The DJ had to be asked 4 separate times to play the music on the list I gave him. My family and friends began to leave as a result of the reception going so slowly (slow music, classical music). Again the staff was so unresponsive and stood in the back and talked instead of paying attention to my guests. In addition, the mandatory $5.00 valet mixed up my guests keys and it took FOREVER to get their cars. All in all, although the ceremony was beautiful and the food tasted good, the overall experience was frustrating and the condition of the facility was awful. To top it off, it seemed like every time we were close to paying off, another charge came up (like the 120 people was including the bride and groom). I think if you can find somewhere else to go then do so. I wish I had! read more

I attended my friend's wedding this past weekend, and although she did not use the Renaissance location, she did use Rose catering service, Let me start by saying that, the service was a complete disaster, to the point that the bride ask one of the bridesmaid to tell everyone to leave, of course it was all frustration, the bride had made a page with everything that need it to be done but it was not done right, the flowers arrangements even though it was not ugly, it was not the flowers the bride ask for, but at this point, the day of the wedding she has not other choice, but to keep the one they brought. For dinner the bride asked for gold charger plates and Rose did not bring it to the location, because she said the bride did not included in the contract, which the bride did and once the bride told Rose yes she did, to look at the contract is when Rose had no other choice but to send someone and bring them to the location, the dinner took almost 2 hours to be serve, there were 4 guests, that were supposed to eat fish instead of chicken and 1 of those people was on my table, when they brought the chicken to her, my friend told the waiter, that her food was fish, so after a few minutes, the waiter came back saying that the mother of the bride had given the 4 plates to other people so, at this point my friend just ate the roasted potato because, the green beans where too grease. I liked the chicken and the potatoes. We were already running late for the rest of the stuff that we needed it to do like the toast, throw the garter etc.. At first, I saw Rose standing by the kitchen most of the time, I even thought she was part of the kitchen staff, she was wearing black pants and a black tshirt, when I found out that Rose was suppose to be the wedding planner for that day, we all were in shock, The Maid of Honor was the one running up and down, running to tell the Dj to put an specific song and when to stop, she is the one who told Rose to pour the champagne to make the toast, the best man is the one who has to scream to the Dj who was downstairs to cut the music because he was about to make the speech. It was a disaster !!. One word.. NO ORGANIZATION... the Bride got phone calls the next day saying she should of hire the Maid Of Honor as her wedding planner. Oh and the linnen was not the one the bride order. One thing Rose did do, was when the Maid of Honor told her, not even ask her, told her that the groom needed some thing from walgreens but the court could not leave the place, Rose send one staff memeber to go get it. At the end of the day, The Bride didn't need to be so frustrated the day of her wedding, and 2 even if she did not use Rose location, she was using Rose catering services. I will not recommend Rose service to none of my friends, well no need too, because they all saw the lack of her profesionalism. read more

I had my Bridal Shower here and they also catered my wedding at Big Five Country Club. They are amazing great service and awesome prices. I love there food and is one of the main resons why my family and I keep doing events with them. There food quality and taste can be compared to some of the food at the best places out there. Our wedding was in 2007 and people are still talking about the food. When you go see Tony or Rosy they are both awesome. I will be hosting more events with the Renaissance staff and I have friends having wedding there soon. Yay! I can actually eat at there weddings. lol read more

Almost 5 months since my wedding and I have still not gotten my pictures completely a disaster

Anybody who takes reviews seriously, realize that I took the time out of my day to sit down and warn people about this business. This company will treat you very well when you are sitting down choosing packages and shelling out money. As soon as we finished the real picture came into play. Our limousine was late, the food came out cold, they switched our facility last minute, they did not get our arrangements presented correctly, the photographer was flamboyant (in a church, no less) and our pictures were absolutely terrible. Steer clear of this place at all costs, they cut corners and will ruin the greatest day of your lives. DO NOT COME HERE. We thought this hall was exactly what we were looking for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen. She was looking for a dance club theme and this place provided the look that she wanted. The price was reasonable too and the place was beautiful. What I found was that everyone who works in this hall for the most part are family. They promise you excellence at a bargain price but this is not what you receive after you sign the contract. By the time the party arrived, no one called me to settle last minute details such as color, food, cake, to calm the jitters. The only call I ever got was to turn in the final payment. The day of the party, when we walked into the hall, I thought that the setup was from the night before, little did I know that this was the set-up for my party. It looked like a regular banquet hall party not like a "club". I had discussed the arrangement prior to the party with the owner but she recommended on two occasions to do it another way so that it looked more like a "club" so I agreed to her suggestion. So needless to say I was nervous and upset when I got there and it wasn't to my expectations as she had discussed with me. My friend spoke to the gentleman who was at the hall at that time and he argued that that was what I requested although he was not involved with any of the conversations between me and the owner Rose. He ended up moving the furniture around with a bad attitude making noises and throwing it. We offered to do it ourselves but he did it with a bad attitude. Later the owner, Rose, came in literally screaming at us, saying that this was what we had requested and now her employee had to be moving furniture around instead of attending to the phone and other customers. I can't express how upset this woman made me and how she ruined for me what was supposed to be a very special and memorable day in the life of my daughter. Sometimes the money savings isn't worth it. This is something that I will remember the rest of my life, when I remember the turning of age of my daughter. Customer Service and Peace of Mind are very important. read more

This place was absolutely horrible. I got married here in November 2011 and was treated like 2nd class. I spent a large amount of money to have my dreamcwedding but wjat I got was a nightmare. I had my wedding in the 1st level. Which when I came down to the daycto get married they completely changed the look of the venue. That was not what I signed up for and I was never told that this was in the works. They're all, nice and sweet before you sign that, contract. They told me that the 1st level (where i was having my ceremony) turns into a nightclub and since i was having my full wedding there that, after the reception (2nd floor)my guest could then go to the club. That was a lie the day of my wedding. After I said my do's the photographer (who was the nephew) was rushing to finish my pictures the apparently they had rented out the down stairs and needed to get ready for the next party. The photos cam outhhorrible. The nephew (tony) has no business being a photographer. The videograpgher (who was apartnofntony's team)cut the head of the officiant during my wedding ceremony. The whole video the guy had my head covering her the whole time. The dj that came with my wedding package played the wrong song when I was walking down the aisle. And he excuse he couldnt find the song I had requested. There was no communication. I spent like $2000 for upgraded light package and it was like they didnt do anything. And the worst these jerks acted as if they did nothing wrong. Please if your a bride take your time and find people that really care about making ur day special not just a group of people that are just after ur money. Once u pay they dont care. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE for anything. I had my wedding ceremony on July 29th this year. Rosa was the planner. Everything was a complete disaster. I was sad who entire night everything was whack. I planned everything with her what I want and what I did not want but she did the opposite. Every time I had to meet with her to go over details she always come up with some excuses saying she got workers working on her house and can I meet with other Tony or her husband. She keep running me into circles and I had to put my foot down to say no I'm not meeting with other worker my weeding is in coupe weeks I need to see you. So on the day of my wedding, when I got there everything were a total mess, the tablecloths that I choose were not the one they use, omg the chairs they gave me were not even on the contract. At the beginning I told her I hate those chairs with covers and I want chiavari chairs and me and my best friend told her make sure we get chiavari chairs and she did write it on the contract but the day of my wedding reception, she has the nerves to use those chairs I did not want. I was so pissed when I saw that but I was trying to keep cool. This ish even mess up my entire night where my husband keep asking me what's wrong and I had to explain him what went wrong and I feel bad because I should have enjoying my wedding not stressing or being piss about a place I paid so much money for nothing for. The waiters were a complete mess every time my guesses got up to go get something and when they comeback their food were gone. I hate that night it was the worse night ever. I texted Rosa the next day and tell her how feel she ignore my text and I had to wait the next two days to call her and all she keep saying how my guesses were so happy this that and try to go around the questions about why she change the chairs without letting me know. After she saw that I wasn't buying her bs she said oh the chairs you choose did not match with the color of your wedding I was like what how long did we been plan this wedding and now you telling me this. She was like oh I'm sorry I should have been contacted you about the changes this that. I was like not only you guys did not use the right chairs you guys didn't even decorate the ugly chairs ya use but ya just put the cover of them that's all and she was like oh people don't even decorate chair anymore it's old fashion. My point is that how in the hell I paid all that money and Rosa didn't even respect my wishes or at least contacted me way before. I hated it this was the worse decision I ever made to have my wedding reception there. read more
