However, what cannot be seen in the pictures is Mr. Mehran Ghassemi's profoundly appreciated hard work and straightforward communication while he managed the project from start to finish. Mr. Ghassemi priced the project according to my financial limit and wishes that fit within the budget, he visited stores with me to ensure my choices for the bathroom would look good now and in the years to come, and did not start the project until all necessary items were received and the work could be scheduled without interruption. Even when unexpected issues (which Mr. Ghessemi advised to plan for) popped up in the work, Mr. Ghessemi immediately updated about the problem, purposed multiple solutions with both their expected costs and their pros and cons. Mr. Ghessemi's work ensured an on-time, well built, and beautiful bathroom and during the building process his love for his work is obvious as he exudes joy while the bathroom comes together piece by piece and he can envision the great end result well before you can see anything beyond empty spaces and debris. Ultimately, selecting Renaissance Kitchen Bath & Flooring worked out better than I could imagine and so it is no surprise that I found their executed bathroom more gorgeous than I could ever have imagined too. Just to give anyone reading this review some perspective, I can be a difficult for any contractor to work with. I am a litigation attorney, so I argue for a living, and when dealing with contractors sometimes disagreements arise. Working with Renaissance and Mehran is no exception. Apart from that, I can be a pain in the butt when it comes to working on my home. My wife and I have hired Mehran for two MAJOR projects. A full kitchen remodel that included major structural changes, lighting changes, rearranging gas lines, power, cabinet placement, removing soffets, and tiling about half of our house. The second project was floating plaster over some weird acoustic that could not be removed because it was sanded (not that easy popcorn texture stuff, more like stucco), and installing a dozen or so recessed lights. Mehran and his crews came through on both projects and was always a total professional and showed total expertise in both. Were there disagreements and speed bumps along the way? Absolutely. Mehran had a subcontractor quit, cabinet placement was wrong and had to be changed, some of our existing paint came off with masking tape, appliances didn't fit as expected, lights did look just right,I could probably make a list a mile long. However, through all of the roadblocks, miscalculations and errors on both our part and Mehran's part, he was always upfront and honest with us, and his crew would be here on time, every day, working long hours until the project was complete to my satisfaction. What shows the true quality of Mehrans character, is that even when a project ran way too long, or estimates were way off, he sticks by his estimate even if it means he doesn't make as much money as he could by pulling out of the project or trying to increase the price, I cannot recommend Mehran and Renaissance highly enough. Even if his estimate is higher than a competitor, I recommend going with him because I think in the long run you will still end up paying much less, for a superior product. We had a great experience with Renaissance. Our bathrooms and flooring needed a serious update and the results from our remodel are stunning. I found Renaissance on Yelp after a couple of contractor references didn't pan out. Renaissance had great reviews from former customers and they didn't disappoint. Selecting design choices can be overwhelming, Mehran GH asked a few questions regarding our preferences and started to pull out samples. I really loved everything and appreciate Mehran's knowledge, product choices, and design ascetic. He answered all our questions and once we settled on our choices set a date for the remodel. We began the remodel process with Mehran D, also very communicative, polite, sincere, and answered all my questions. Mehran D and his crew were also great to work with. Pedro and crew gutted the master bath, hot mop, and handled all the tile work. Pedro built a beautiful walk-in shower and also laid the tile in the entryway. Cupboards, sinks, quartz countertops, toilets, mirrors, lighting, painting, electrical, plumbing for everything were all completed beautifully. I wish I could give him 10 stars! Mr. Mehran and his staff were very professional, attentive to details, and the best contractors it has been my pleasure to work with. Every inspection with my city inspectors was passed with flying colors. The first time. Believe me, that is no small feat. The only thing I had to do was make up my mind on colors and materials. He was able to take my vision and make it a reality. We began the work on my bath remodel and bedroom project on Labor Day weekend, and they were complete by Thanksgiving! This included completely gutting the bath and installing all new plumbing and electrical. Additionally, they had to install a new foundation and sub-floor. They painted my bedroom and created a fireplace feature with an electric fireplace and mantle. I am attaching pictures of their outstanding work. So first I just want to say that we are in the process of doing a Multi stage renovation with Mehran and his team. Mehran is an amazing human being with more integrity than most contractors. He is hard-working and he makes extra efforts to communicate everything to the homeowner. Our project is very difficult and requires skilled craftsmen and detailed planning. Mehran took my 45-year old bathroom and brought it into the 21st Century, converting my step-down sunken bathtub/shower (an accident waiting to happen!) into a walk-in and adding a second sink to the vanity area. My wife and I purchase a home in the city or Orange about 4 years ago. The exterior of the house was in good condition but the inside needed some help, especially the master bath. So we waited until we had come up with a design outline and a budget to do the remodel before we started looking for a contractor. I relied on Yelp since I had no recommendations from friends/family in this arena. I had another company come out and give a quote which seemed higher than what I was expecting and not much in the way of design ideas. I again took to Yelp and found Renaissance. The fact that they had 5 stars for over 45 review was a good sign. I called and made an appointment for them to come out. Mehran D. came out and discussed what I would like to do and gave me some insight on how to save money while still getting what I wanted. He was not able to answer all my questions and referred to his co-worker Mehran G. for a more in depth design element. Right away I was comforted by the fact that they weren't just in it for the money, but rather looking at what would make me happy in the long run. So we went back and forth and changed designs a couple of times and came up with a final design and a price. I had them start work about 2 weeks later. Like I was promised, there was somebody at my house every day (during the week and 2 times on a Saturday) until the job was completed. I would come home from work sometimes at work just to check the progress and these guys were always working. This made me feel confident that I hired the correct company. I had my entire master bathroom demo'd and rebuilt. They had to take out about 8' of the main sewer line due to all the roots from the pine trees in my yard. The replaced all three drains (toilet, shower and dual vanity sinks). Made the shower about 1 foot bigger (sounds small but an incredible improvement). Knocked out a wall between the two master closets and took off the old trim. Installed a new vanity with dual sinks, installed new flooring, rebuilt complete shower enclosure and installed a new drawer unit that they had to customize from 21" to 17" to fit in the location. I would highly recommend them to anybody. The only thing I wished is that they had a computer program that helped me better visualize what they were doing. This would have made me feel at ease a lot sooner and would have started the construction sooner as well. read more

From worst to first in 2 weeks. We had our master bathroom remodel from floor to ceiling. Started with Mehran coming to our home and taking measurements and making suggestion as how to enlarge our existing shower (Height) and putting in new fixtures, tile and floor. A couple of days later (via email) we received the quote for the project. We felt it was a reasonable quote and gave our OK. Pablo and his crew came in and laid down protective floor covering before starting the demo. Old shower tile and flooring removed revealing some damaged wood from a water leak. No problem, all wood was replaced to make a sound foundation for the new shower stall. Some additional cost to repair this unforeseen issue, which was understandable. Went to their store in Orange and picked out all the tile that was needed. Mehran has a large inventory of products and after a few suggestions we had what we wanted. Picked out our cabinet style and everything was order so that there would be no delays in the remodel. Jorge, the tile guy, came in and he created the most beautiful tile work. It took him about 2 1/2 days to do the shower and flooring. He is an artist when it comes to laying tile. Bathroom cabinet was installed and then quartz countertop was measured, fabricated and then a few days later it was installed. Pablo and crew came back and finished the rest of the installation. Buyer Beware! i have been communicating with Mehran about my kitchen cabinets that he installed several years ago. They are white shaker and turned yellow! Mehran said he contacted the cabinet manufacturer who told him they only have a 3 year warranty. I had to hire a painter who charged me $4100 to paint my cabinets who said they are obviously defective and should never have turned yellow. One cabinet right next to another one is more yellow so go figure why that is. Renaissance will NOT reimburse us because he said it isn't his issue and I should contact the cabinets people. I didn't do business with the cabinet people, I did business with and paid Renaissance for the remodeling. Bottom line is Mehran said there is nothing he can do. My fiance and I recently purchased our first home and had plans to do some cosmetic upgrades to the flooring, kitchen, and master bathroom. We were unable to get any recommendations on a contractor to use so we relied heavily on Yelp to find one that would be able to meet our needs. We met with 5-6 different contractors and Mehran was the only one who gave us the feeling that he would treat our home as if it were his own. Not only that, nothing we asked for seemed like too big of a job and he didn't nickel and dime us for every upgrade. He was also the only contractor that provided an estimate within a couple of days after coming to see our home for measurements where the rest of the contractors we met with actually took weeks to price everything out, and two of them never got back to us at all! After going over the numbers and selecting our materials, we decided to move forward with Renaissance. Mehran and his crews immediately got to work on our 1400 sq ft townhome. We did laminate flooring throughout the entire house, including two flights of stairs with white risers, porcelain tile in our three bathrooms and laundry room, got new baseboards, and went with new quartz counter tops in our kitchen. We were amazed that the work only took two weeks! We were so pleased with the quality of work, that after everything was completed, my fiance asked Mehran for another estimate to upgrade our single master bathroom sink to dual sinks. Turns out, we had leftover quartz from our kitchen counter tops and Mehran gave us a price we couldn't resist to upgrade our entire bathroom vanity! He installed a large, dual vessel sink with two faucets, upgraded our vanity to match the quartz in the kitchen, and installed a stunning back splash as a gift, free of charge! We always hear horror stories about renovations gone wrong, and being first time home owners and having never gone through a renovation ourselves, we definitely had reservations going into this process. One thing Mehran said that we will never forget was, "This is supposed to be fun for you and I will do everything I can to make sure you enjoy the process." THAT is a sign of a GREAT contractor. Not only was Mehran right about making the process enjoyable, he delivered everything on time, as PROMISED. We are now completely moved in and happily living in our new home. I am very pleased with the work that Renaissance did when they renovated the master bathroom and guest bathroom of my Los Angeles condo. I was glad that they accepted the job even though they drove everyday in traffic and had to deal with the restriction imposed by the Building's Home Owner Association. They work hard and try to please their customers. I recently had Renaissance Kitchen Bath & Flooring do a complete bathroom remodel for us for a house built in 1982 in North Tustin with the original bathroom vanity, floors and tub. I didn't think to take photos of the old bathroom but do have one of the old vanity. It was a secondary bathroom but was still pretty large in size with a 104 inch vanity with double sinks. They also took out the tub with shower, raised the ceiling over it and put in a walk in shower and installed a new bathroom floor. I can't say enough about how good Mehran and his crews were. They started when they said they would, finished on time and every day stuck to the schedule they promised. They didn't go a dime over their estimate and they did a wonderful job. Their workmanship is excellent. The owner, Mehran, came out twice during the remodel to make sure we were happy. He even went with me to pick out materials which was helpful because he had seen many of the available tiles and quartz countertops installed in other projects. Their price was also less than previous estimates I got for the same job. I had three estimates come in at $22,000 and theirs was $15,920.00. (bathroom hardware, mirrors and re-painting was not included in any of the estimates, which they all stipulate.) I regret not doing our master remodel with them in 2016 but they are definitely my go to guys for all future projects. We are very happy with them and highly recommend their work. read more

I was in a bad spot before I hired Renaissance. My condo was damaged by a major kitchen water leak that left a lot of mold. My previous contractor remediated all the water leak damages but lost interest in completing the remodel portion of the job leaving me with a torn up home. Luckily I knew Mehran from some flooring I hired him to install back in 2014 and knew that he would be able to help me complete this project by picking up where the previous contractor left off. We started a DIY bathroom remodel a few years ago and called Renaissance to come finish it for us. It looked fantastic! So when it came to a kitchen remodel in our next home, we went to Renaissance. Their prices are comparable. We gutted the whole kitchen and our project was flawless. I have zero complaints. They were very understanding about our small children, about going into the construction zone to get into the fridge all day, about our busy schedules, about everything! We were picky about our countertops and the floor plan and Mehran was very patient with us, and continually offering us new options. The other Mehran is very knowledgeable on the construction side of things, and his crew was great to work with. Our kitchen is beautiful, and I highly recommend Renaissance. We just renovated a majority of our home with Mehran (April 2019) and I want to start with saying thank you because he and his crew turned our new house into our dream home in 3 weeks!!! I had multiple contractors come to our home to give quotes but I felt Mehran seemed the most competent and he seemed to understand my vision. Also none of the others were confident they could finish within a month and we were in a time crunch. First off, we re-did the entire kitchen. Took all the flooring out, moved gas lines, replaced all cabinets backsplash etc. before and after photos are attached to this post!! For the materials you can choose your cabinets in his showroom. For the countertop and backsplash he works with many stores around Anaheim. I was particularly picky and it wasn't until the fourth stop that I found exactly the marble style quartz countertop I was looking for!! We ended up finding it at Pacifica wholesale and tile. They also custom made my herringbone backsplash because they didn't have it in the exact stone I envisioned. Once all materials were picked Mehran got started with the job. As promised he finished our kitchen, three bathroom remodels, all new flooring and baseboards around the home (except for carpet in the bedrooms upstairs, he doesn't do carpet) in 3 weeks!! Everything turned out as promised. There were a few minor hiccups but he very professionally took care of them right away. One of them was that the warehouse sent antique white cabinets not white shaker. We noticed this the first day and within 2 days the wrong cabinets were gone and the new ones installed. We obviously did not pay extra for this mishap. Another thing that happened was that my Bosch under cabinet vent turned out very large and it hung too low. So Mehran also took care of this, ordered a shorter cabinet and now it hangs at the perfect height. Other than that everything went very smoothly and we are extremely happy with all his work!! Our experience with Renaissance Kitchen, Bath and Flooring was too good not to comment on. This is our story. By the time a leak in the upstairs master shower made itself known by dripping through the kitchen ceiling we had serious problems. To find the leak sources a good portion of the kitchen ceiling and cupboards had to be removed, source of leak still not completely clear so remediation company with insurance company's ok ripped up the entire tub shower area, the subfloor had rotted through - clear view to kitchen below. This is all taking place at our occupied rental property making the stress of the situation greater. Contacted a number of contractors with good reviews on Yelp. Mehran from Renaissance come out the very next morning on time and with his calm and very professional manner explained what needed to be done to repair the sub floor, ideas for the new shower etc. I felt Mehran understood I was redoing this shower via crisis not with the joy of home improvement, he was truly sympathetic to my situation. My husband and I meet with him at his store in Orange - he stayed open for us - to look at samples. He whipped out a couple of options that matched the current bathroom floor tile perfectly. Easy. Every following step from plumbing, subfloor repair, reframing, hot mop, tile setting, grout and glass door were done on time! Neatly! Excellent workmanship! Each step was explained well. The tile setter was a perfectionist, flawless. With complete confidence I recommend Mehran and his Renaissance team. When we do the remodel on our home bath he will be our only call.
