Had our daughter's Golden 16th birthday party, rented a Hummer. The ENTIRE night was a complete disaster!! 1. The driver texted informing us she would be 10-12 minutes late, in actuality she came 20 minutes late. As a professional limo service that has been in business for years, the driver should have been here AT LEAST 10 minutes ahead of time so we could load and leave at the scheduled/paid for time of 8PM. 2. Then was told we could not have 15 passengers; which when I called and talked to Renee I mentioned we may have one or two more kids (one flew in from out of state) and asked if there was a larger limo, she said all were reserved and never indicated at all that this would be a problem. This process took another 15 minutes to discuss with your office. Fortunately for us, our daughter has a wonderful, mature group of friends and 3 of the kids drove with us, leaving them out of the ride. Sophia was crushed. 3. Next, the limo driver did not know how to pair a phone to the stereo/radio, eventually the kids figured it out however this delayed the ride another 7 minutes. Drivers should be well versed with this process and it should not have been a delay. We finally took off at 8:50PM. 4. When talking with your office about the capacity load, Bekka/Ellie continued to come back to "this is the law". However, if you want to get technical when following the limo there were several times, she was exceeding the speed limit and have proof of that on our 360 app. 5. You advertise using your service for light tours; when I originally asked for the route Renee could not provide that, so we went on good faith that it would be a nice light tour. Renee said Bekka is good and knows several routes. When she came late and having to pivot our plans Becca could not come up with other routes or restaurants other than St. Paul. Your company should have this down pat and have several options to go with around the twin cities. In addition the lights we saw were ones we could see in our own neighborhood. 6. Lastly your company had the AUDACITY to charge extra for time on the back end of our trip. All this put a HUGE damper on the evening. As discussed with your office, it was our plan to go to Cossetta's to grab a quick dinner/treat, go to Rice Park, maybe see a couple of lights and head home and arrive at the contracted time of 10:30PM. Sophia was looking forward to Cossetta's and would have had plenty of time to get there if the driver was prompt. Also, our daughter was planning on having other kids come to the house at 10:30 to say hi for an hour or so, however AGAIN due to the lateness of everything, she did not see those kids and the kids on the limo had to leave upon coming home leaving her night with a huge disappointment. All of this was extremely disappointing and tarnished our daughters' Golden 16th Birthday. We paid $930 for a VERY, VERY sub-par and disappointing experience. This evening was supposed to be very special life event. This hugely disappointing experience is something that cannot be undone. We are fortunate to say money is not an issue for us so we want nothing from you - you take your $930 and hope you can sleep well tonight knowing our daughter cried herself to sleep that night. Renee's exceeded my expectations! Our party of 9 rented a 10 passenger limo a few days before my husbands birthday. (Oct 2020) The reservation was easily made online and any changes to our itinerary were handled promptly before our night out. We ended up going to a few different breweries around town. The limo itself was extremely nice inside, lots of lights on the ceiling, great sound system you can hook any device up to, ice in the cooler for drinks, glasses, anything you needed really. Peter,our driver, sent me a text stating he would be 15 minutes early. He was punctual, professional and extremely accommodating. If there was a stop change, no problem. My friend accidentally left something in the limo and Peter made sure to return it to me via mail. I highly recommend Renee's and will gladly be doing business with them in the future. read more

We loved our Limo ride with Travis driving us around the city seeing Christmas lights. There were six of us and plenty of space to have our treats and drinks. The ride was very comfortable and the inside of the limo was clean and beautiful interior/lights. The tour was 3 hours and took us to some amazing light displays. Our driver, Travis, was very accommodating, informative and stopped to allow photo ops. I would highly recommend this as a Christmas tradition. read more

When my friendly group and I came into your city over the weekend, we expected a tour. And a real "tour" is what we got (or at least in my viewpoint). We were fooled by another tour in another city in 2017, so this years tour definitely made up for that. Renee's Royal Valet did a superb job at narrating and driving, giving us tidbits that none of us really knew that much about, and even stopped in a few places to collect pictures (something the driver and our organizer agreed upon beforehand with the exception that stopping would prevent them from moving further into St. Paul then the Minnehaha Falls area). The driver chose some great places to stop including the Minnehaha Falls, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and the Guthrie Theater (Observation Deck) and even without a microphone (since his voice was deep and loud) was able to be heard rather clearly by most (I ended up sitting in the first row and his talk sounded extra loud and crisp.). I applaud the driver's ability to narrate this in this manner and choose some of these great places to stop. He even stopped for the Mary Tyler Moore Statue area to let a few out to visit the statue and take a few pics, but only a small handful got out and took some pictures. His driving was extraordinary and his knowledge definitely did the trick for a tour. I actually applaud this company and driver, but I probably won't be seen ever again in Minneapolis so sorry. read more

My family booked a Christmas Lights Tour on Saturday,December 2,with Renee's Limousines.Jim,the driver,was very courteous to all of us and unfortunately was the bright spot of the tour. There were two problems that we experienced.The first issue was when we arrived at the areas where there were lights,all we saw out our windows were blackened landscapes and the bulb colors were muted .The kids were especially disappointed .When I looked out the front window (not tinted),I saw normal landscapes and bright colored lights.The second issue was the crowded conditions inside the limousine.We were told the limousine would handle our group of 13 of which 5 were children.We all felt very crowded during the trip.On Monday I called the company and told them about our experience and let them know I wanted some reimbursement of the total I paid.They told me they would look into it and call me back later.When they got back to me I got an apology but was told they wouldn't reimburse me any money.So I asked to talk with Chad P. ,the company president.They told me they would contact him and get back to me. They did get back to me and I was told the Chad doesn't deal with issues like this and he had "too much on his plate ".Needless to say I was very disappointed in that response.So if you're thinking about a Christmas Lights tour please avoid this company! read more

The actual service was outstanding. The driver was a really nice guy and provided great service. BUT, I reserved this limo for a bachelor party. Knowing that SOMEONE was bound to vomit at some point, I asked the driver what kind of fee they charge for vomit clean up (I only asked the driver because at NO POINT was I ever informed about any type of clean up fee, and assumed there would be one). I was told that there is usually about an $80 dollar clean up fee, which I found to be reasonable. Later that night, the bachelor puked in the limo. We stopped at my house and grabbed a bunch of cleaning supplies and cleaned up all of the puke OURSELVES. The driver told me that being that we cleaned up the mess ourselves, we didnt have to worry about paying a clean up fee. We continued our night for the next couple of hours, and the bachelor puked again, this time out the window of the limo, and got some vomit on the outside of the limo. I figured I would maybe be charged to put the limo through a car wash, and figured I would probably get charged that $80 fee that we were told about earlier. A couple days later, I not only get charged a clean up fee (which I was told would be $80), but I get charged a $350 clean up fee (THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!!) without even so much as a phone call to explain that I was going to be charged. Nothing explained, never made aware of any kind of OUTRAGEOUS fee like this. This was a BACHELOR PARTY, remember. I would have NEVER reserved a limo with a $350 clean up fee for a bachelor party, where someone is BOUND to puke. Like I said, great service the night we used the limo, but I would have NEVER used this limo company in the first place if I had been made aware of such an outrageous clean up fee. I put the down payment on the limo with my credit card, which apparently gives them the right to charge my card for any type of clean up or damage fees after the fact, but I am extremely upset being that I was NEVER TOLD that this fee existed and knew nothing of the charge until I saw it on my credit card statement. I was basically robbed of $350 by Renee's Royal Valet. I wouldnt recommend using this company, unless you want a surprise fee of $350 or more on your credit card after the fact. I hired Renee's Royal Valet for my sister's bachelorette/bridal shower weekend earlier this month (October 2014). Hands down, the most amazing customer service of any of the companies I called. Renee herself often answers the phone and will go to great lengths to make sure you're taken care of, and will never, ever try to take advantage of you (unlike a lot of the other places I called). Their rates are competitive and more than fair, and the vehicle we had was outstanding (limo bus-- elegant and fun, not trashy like so many other companies). I even had to change our pick-up time and location a couple of times THE DAY OF, and they never got annoyed or rude about it. They just always did their best to accommodate our needs, and when you're coordinating 20 women, that is HUGE. Our driver's name was Steve and he was fantastic-- he was funny yet professional, courteous, always on time (always early, actually). We loved him so much that we even tried to get him as our driver for the wedding! (all booked up. Great for them, sad for us!) I can't say enough great things about this company, really. I was a bit disappointed with our Holiday Lights Tour experience yesterday. First, the driver was late. He did apologize, and added on a few minutes at the end, but it didn't start the evening off great. I am aware that we are in the northern suburbs, but my family goes on a lights drive every year, and in 2.5 hours we manage to see a lot of lights. On our tour last night, we went to one house in Andover and then headed towards Maple Grove. This was fine, and we had discussed it with the driver before we left. But, we only fit in three houses, and then it was time to head back home. I know that you can get lists of houses with lights displays in the paper and online. When I have been to see lights with my family, we spend time beforehand looking at the lists finding houses that are near one another. And, we fit in way more than 3 houses in the same time frame that we had last night. No preparation appeared to have been done before our trip. Also, the limo bus started off cold. The driver turned the heat on when asked, but then it got very hot, and we ended up going between the two extremes all evening. I will definitely not be recommending this holiday lights tour to anyone. Definitely not worth it read more

Hired Renee's for a 30-passenger trolley for a corporate event to provide looping pick-ups/drop-offs for our guests from a hotel to the event site. The trolley added a unique experience for our guests to get from the south end of Minneapolis to the North end. From the first call, to refining the details of our needs and the execution of the entire service was easy and professional. They answered questions via emails and phone calls extremely quickly (within hours or the next day). They even let us put a 6' custom printed logoed magnet on the sides of the trolley to promote the company and special event. Only negative was that the party before mine must have had fast food inside of the Hummer because the smell was very overwhelming and at the beginning a little unsettling.
