Stopped in for lunch and got a chicken burrito, which may have been my mistake because their breakfast stuff is what is more heavily advertised. If you want something that tastes like it came from a school cafeteria, if you want workers who are kids that mumble at you and look pissed they have to be there, if you want stale, store bought tasting cookies... you've found it. If I could leave less than a star I would, the customer service at this location is a joke even though I'm a fan of the food. Today 10/4 they decided to tell me "they don't take orders over the phone for pick ups and to order online" I was driving in a car with two kids and don't have time to pull over nor should I be on my phone. I walked into the store on Grant St and all I can say is wow... This was my first and last time getting anything from renegade burrito.  The little girl working the counter was rude didnt even bother to welcome myself or the 4 other customers that walked in. Talk about piss poor customer service.  WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN One final thing... not only was your server (Brenda) from the Grant St location rude. After I got home the nachos were horrible,  my wife took about 3 bites and had to stop stating she feels as if she eats anymore she is going to vomit, I was able to eat a little more than her bit that all. Renegade Burrito - Brad's Renegade with cheese and smothered - Mexican Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

These guys make consistently good burritos that I have come to love. They started as a Big City Burrito but parted ways with BC and became Renegade. Problem is I really like one of the particular BC burritos, the Bella Rosa. Well it turns out if you ask for the Bella they'll still make it for you. Carnitas with potatoes, cheddar cheese, pico, tomatillo and strawberry habanero salsas and ranch on a cheddar jalapeno tortilla. They have a variety of great ingredients and craft some awesome burritos. Their staff is friendly and prompt. read more

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Had a coupon so we wanted to check it out. We found out that it used to be Big City Burrito. (Had never been to Big City.) Staff was very friendly. Explained what they had to offer. I do like how many varieties of tortillas they offer. Varieties of meat looked good. Burrito and bowl were really good. All burrito places are very similar but all have differences. Will def be back. read more

Came here for a quick lunch while I ran errands. The gentleman with glasses that helped me was very nice and kept things moving along. He was very informative on what everything was (sauces, explained the difference between the Renegade and regular chicken, etc.) The whole process from walk in to pay maybe took about 4 minutes. Very nice! Food: I got the Renegade chicken bowl with rice, black beans, cheese, tomatillo and sour cream. I could taste each different flavor. The chicken was moist and has some spice to it! It was better than the other times I came in before it was Renegade. I also got the chips and queso and guacamole. Yum!! Chips were crisp and I like the packaging. Queso tastes great, cheesy jalapeño goodness. The guacamole is flavorful as well. Didn't taste like it was from a bag. If it is I'd be surprised. The guy that helped me leaned over the side counter near where I sat and asked me how everything was. Everything is very clean and tidy behind the counter. The seating area was clean as well. Usually a fan, seems this location needs some customer service training. They were not friendly or welcoming. Workers did not seem like they wanted to be there at all. Strange things going on with the egg pan, I ask why is there water in the eggs, he says that how they come out, never have I seen water come out of cooked eggs. You could at least be honest to you customers. Where are the jalapeno cheddar tortillas? They been out a long time. Management step up, people are spending money for your usually good food, that pays your employees wages. Work on customer service with a smile, at this location, or get new employees... read more

The vibes were all off. My boyfriend and I had never been before but assumed it was a chipotle like deal. The employees were extremely impatient and rude; they hardly spoke to us and their demeanors made us feel unwanted. I had a pretty good first experience with Renegade. Their location is pretty easy to miss, which is unfortunate. We walked in and the place was pretty deserted, but it may be because they close at 8 on a Sunday. The staff was very friendly and eager, but the place does not have much character to it. I tried the "Lola G's Bandit" burrito on a regular flour tortilla. The carnitas inside were very crunchy and good, and I liked that they used potatoes instead of the traditional rice inside the burrito. I also got the medium Pico with mango and the tomatillo sauce, which were both really tasty. My husband got a burrito with the renegade chicken and his was good as well. We were just surprised to see that they did not include anything in the burrito like beans, corn, or lettuce. It seemed like they were off to a great start, but something was lacking. read more

I'm going to be honest I was way more of a fan of this than I thought I was going to be! Looking at the menu it doesn't seem like anything special and kind of has a chain type feel but hot damn this breakfast burrito was bomb! I think why I loved it so much was that they use a nice salty bacon that is just so delicious surrounded by fluffy eggs and melty cheese. I did add sour cream because why the heck not, and the heat of the ingredients melted it but it ended up just being a delicious mess of salt and creaminess! I think they were being nice by adding potatoes though I did not check potatoes as an ingredient I wanted when building the burrito but I am the odd man out here that doesn't like potatoes. Not the norm...Also I have to say their green hot sauce the hottest one; not my favorite. While it certainly brought the heat it lacked on flavor a bit. I think I will try the next level down next time. I did appreciate that they put it on the side versus in because I ended up just using my own hot sauce from Mexico! read more

Came in today around 10:00am to 10:06 I go here often and always order the same thing never does it come with corn pico but the guy working doesn't even seem like he knows what he's making he put it on my order and usually they ask if everything is okay on it before adding it but never has it come with that corn stuff on it and they didn't ask if I'd like to add anything or take anything off and they do it so fast to where I didn't have time to say something. I love this little burrito place, especially now that they deliver with Door Dash! My favorite is the jalapeno cheddar wrap with the Renegade Chicken, though the Bay Leaf chicken is also worth a try and their breakfast burritos are the stuff of legends. This place is not just another Chipoltes or that other place. I thought the burrito was so dang tasty. I will say that the kids meal quesadilla was just okay and kinda small for my kids. If you're getting a kids meal, maybe try the tacos instead? I haven't tried them, I'm hoping they are better than the quesadilla was.
