Very quiet relaxing vibes I got the hour long massage with CBD oil and cupping Swedish edition. Room was clean, dimly lit and had soft music playing the whole time. My guy really did a great job it was my first cupping session and was kind of nervous but it was absolutely fine. I rang the bell and Cindi opened the door she seemed very nice And the place seemed pretty decent. No frills, but exactly what I needed. At least, what I thought I needed. I had to use the restroom so I placed my bag roller bag and my coat in the small area with curtains that Cindi space showed me was mine. I went to the restroom and went into the room to get changed. I asked Cindi if she could unzip the back of my blouse because it was hard for me to unzip and I realized right away that Cindi did not understand English. Not my first time at a rodeo like this and that was totally fine with me. it took me about 6 to 7 minutes to get unchanged. I had boots with long laces and socks and pants and my top and the very long hair and jewelry so I wanted to make sure that you know I took everything off so that my massage would be pleasurable. Cindi came in and began... She got on the table right away which I was really excited about and made me look forward to what it seemed to be was going to be a really good massage. About five minutes in Cindi needed to answer the door so she got off the table and went out to see to the next customer. I completely understand this as I've been to massage therapist offices like this before, so it wasn't an issue for me. As Cindi was coming back, I needed to check my blood sugar because it seems like it was going low and I didn't wanna have any issues during the massage so Cindi had walked in and I asked her to wait a second so that I could just grab a little snack I was still on the table. I just kinda moved over grabbed a little something from my bag, put it in my mouth and then lay back on the table that took me about maybe a minute I laid back down and Cindi got to work the thing about working with a therapist that doesn't speak English, particularly Cindi, is when she robbed me too hard and it was painful. She did not understand me saying that it was too hard. I probably expressed that she was too hard about 10 times and she didn't really understand until I wanna say maybe about the 12th time. that was frustrating to say the least. once she understood, she did lighten up, which I was appreciative of, but struggling to be clear with my massage. Therapist takes me out of enjoying my massage for sure at the beginning before she began. I let her know that I didn't like it too hard and that I wanted an hour massage. About 40-ish minutes in Cindi told me that my massage was over. Initially, I thought she was just telling me to turn around but nope the massage was over when I looked at my clock. It had said 7:40 PM. I was a bit confused and called her back in even though she didn't really understand English I began to question what was going on since it was only 7:40 PM. We were not understanding each other and then she brought out her phone to translate what she was saying. What she translated was that we start your hour from the moment you step in the door. I'm sorry what? From the moment I stepped in the door? That's insane! I had to go to the restroom. I had to change my clothes, she had a customer to deal with. I needed to take a moment to eat something to bring my blood sugar up. None of that should've been counted and this massage that was 40 minutes, maybe 45 should not count as one hour. This is frustrating and disappointing and honestly not what I was looking for. I tried to explain that even though she didn't speak English and she wound up bringing in someone else that didn't speak English. They seemed nice, but honestly, I was not happy about the situation, even though I continued to be kind and forthright with how I was feeling. The other woman said "OK 10 minutes 10 minutes more no problem 10 minutes more"but honestly I wasn't happy with that. They worked on me for about a minute maybe two minutes but I couldn't relax and 10 minutes more didn't seem like enough so I stopped the massage and I told him that I didn't feel comfortable anymore. They said OK even though they kept speaking in their language to each other. I decided to get dressed and pay them $10 extra. I expressed my disappointment in a kind and respectful manner and they charged me for a 45 minute massage which was $50. I wound up giving them $60. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the language barrier and because honestly them charging me from the moment I walked into the place seems very dishonest. I paid $60 because I wanted to do things right and I always like to leave things better. The other lady tried to give me a bottle of water, but I didn't want a bottle of water so I didn't take it.

The spa is cozy and smells amazing upon entering. Taken to a room with double beds and stripped down to our undies. Given a towel to cover ourselves. They knock then enter for the most amazing massage. They stretched us and massaged us in our needed areas. My shoulders and back were the main focus but he did massage my legs and feet also. I had been suffering from a migraine all day and I can say that within less than 2 minutes of being on his table it was gone! Poof! Apparently because I booked 90 minute sessions in the past on my card, those apparently only counted as 60 minutes for the purposes of the card. The attitude of the lady at the front desk made me feel belittled and ruined the experience. Worse yet, after I left and checked the time, I realized I only got 60 minutes. Fantastic service and exactly what I needed. Think old school massage. the body wraps arent tight or secured but they did cover and they request you remain in your underwear -so it didnt matter. Old school as in they may climb on top of you or sit on table with you for better pressure work (not a bad thing, I prefer this- but if youve never had this kind it could give you a 'wtf!' moment. Lol). Old school;, your underwear may get lowered to butt crack, sheet tucked in your waistband, glute exposed one at a time. Pelvic work, inner leg work. During all of this I felt comfortable and relaxed and the work was specifically theraputic. Again, if youre not used to this kind of work, it could be a surprise at first. Old school as in, it wasnt just a rub down- i was lengthened, stretched, bent, and pulled while getting deep tissue work done. The results were fantastic and i came out of it a new person. I had a 60 minute deep tissue and afterward had wished i had bought a 90 minute. I didnt want it to end. Linda was fantastic and found every problem spot I had. Calf work, hip work, IT band work was all extremely well done. I felt like she understands physiology and how it all works together. The staff was extremly nice and welcoming. Offered green tea or water on entrance, offered water on exit. Atmosphere was done well. Check in was simple. The cost was excellent, comparing NY prices to any other city. The room was clean, calm, and comfortable. The massage was a perfect mix of getting into muscles / getting knots out and still being a relaxing experience.
