Very convenient location for servicing our Cruze. The service advisors are always very professional and friendly. We always use the dealership for our oil changes and tire rotations ! Since today is 7 degrees outside it's nice to pull around and enter the service bay. The lounge area is very comfortable with a large screen and well appointed seating and Wifi ! Highly recommend Renn Kirby As always, exceptional service !

I knew I would need to get an oil change a couple of times going around, and when it was time, we were in Gettysburgh. We had limited options, and Mike's Kars had good review, and he was a mile from our hotel... so... we took a chance. Pros: Seemed to do adequate work, we didn't have any issues with the car. They came and picked us up CONS: OMG where do I start. This guy ripped us off at every opportunity. 1. I had just purchased NEW bigger off-road tires and we had about 2000 miles on them. Mike decides it's time for my 41k service, and that included a TIRE ROTATION! He KNEW they were new tires. We wer traveling and exhausted and had exactly one day to get the oil changed before heading to our next destination, and extended our hotel to get this done, so I didn't THINK about it but he CHARGED ME $200 TO ROTATE BRAND NEW TIRES! 2. He told me my battery needed replacing, probably the original one, blah blah. I have no idea if it really needed it or not, but he used a scare tactic. I was traveling with my daughter and he mentioned "What if it doesn't start and you are in the middle of no where." I went ahead with the battery but he charged me a WHOPPING $400 FOR IT!! I called my dealer when I got home today and he told me a battery for that Jeep costs $100!! And that I got ripped off once again. 3. He also told me that my radiator fluid was turning acidic and needed flushing. ANOTHER WHOPPING $200+ for that. I asked my dealer who looked at the inspection report for my Certified Pre-Owned Jeep and the chemical report when sold to me was no where near what this guy was telling me. 4. He also said there was a leaky seal on one of the ball bearings and they "discovered" it when the rotated the tires. My dealer said a leaky seal could definitely have waited. 5. Finally, the oil change we came IN for. Instead of giving me Full Synthetic oil which everywhere else was $48, he gave me some kind of blend and charged me another $200 or so. When I got out of there he had stripped us of $1300. Two girls on a road trip. He saw us coming a MILE away and took advantage at every turn. My dealer said all of that would have been taken care of at ANY dealership and that this guy charged me about 4X what it would have cost and of course, the leaky seal and radiator flush, if it was really needed, would have been NO charge. So. They may do ok work, and they may be convenient. But they will take advantage, overcharge, and rip you off every chance you give them. I do NOT recommend these people at all and am MORTIFIED that they did this, and charged over $1300 for what should have cost us around $150.

East side auto sales!!! Gettysburg PA…read more LONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ!!!! I knew better than to go there for a car. But I thought you know what, let me GIVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. 3 weeks ago I went there and got a 2014 Dodge Dart. The post off their facebook page I seen the car and it was nice. I went there and test drove it. Only light on was the tire pressure sensor. No big deal to me. So I paid over the money. I signed the paperwork. The contract. Whatever they make you sign when you purchase a vehicle from them. And I did not (my fault) purchase the warranty third party option they have. Day one: I leave east side auto sales with the car and get to work. (5 mins away). Radio doesn't work so I open the hood to check fuses and there is oil splattered everywhere on the engine and the inside hood because someone didn't put the oil cap on. It was laying beside where it goes inside the engine under the hood and not attached. Week one: Actually day one that I drove the car off the lot---- radio didn't work. Buttons did but not any sound. Okay again, my fault because the only thing I didn't try when test driving was the damn radio. It's a six speed manual transmission. I was focused on the clutch and shifting gears. Okay. So anyway I got the radio fixed. Thank god I knew somebody. And the wires were disconnected from the speakers. So no big deal. Cool got that fixed. While my mechanic was trying to figure out the speaker problem he discovered that the car had dirt everywhere. Under the trunk lining. Inside the doors lining. Everywhere. And rust was everywhere through out the bottom of the car. I don't know how this car passed inspection to be sold. Smh. ‍ Week two: it was cold outside so before work I went outside and started the car to warm it up. My driveway is on a hill an at the bottom of the driveway sits a shed. The car was out there in Neutral and E brake pulled tight for about 15 minutes when all of a sudden I hear a loud BANG ‼ I went outside and the car had drifted down my driveway and hit the shed at the bottom of my driveway. Not only did I have to file a claim on my insurance for the car damage but my landlord also had to for the damage to the shed under my car insurance policy. So the E brake was faulty. Did not work properly. Few days later: I'm driving home to New Oxford from Cunningham Falls, MD. ON ROUTE 15 I keep making the comment the car feels like something is off. I'm afraid to go over 50mph. It's not driving right. Two days after Cunningham Falls: I'm driving home from York, my tire feels like it's driving on a flat. Like it's rumbling and shaking and it's not driving "normal" something is off. I pull into work (Gettysburg) thank god I made it there. Find out that 2 lug nuts are loose on the front driver tire. I did not have any contact with the tires in the few weeks I had this POS. I'm super mad about this car by now because it's one problem after another and I had my kids in that car! The wheel could have falling off!!!! A day later: at this point I'm over this car. I paid $2000 down plus $800 and some for tax tag and title. It's been one problem after another. So I gave the car to my "brother". Idc. I'll take the $3000 loss. Have the car. Takeover the weekly $100 payments. I'm over it. I call East Side and they tell me there's no way on their end they can transfer the car to my brothers name but if we have a verbal agreement for him to take over payments it's fine. So the car stays in my name but he makes payments and takes over the insurance. The same day he drives it the MF MOTOR BLOWS!!!! . Let him sit on route 30 in Gettysburg. That was a Friday night. Following Monday morning when East Side Auto Sales opens: I go in there. In person. Because previously when I called to complain about the car I got hung up on. So I figured I'll go in. Then they can't hang up on me. I expressed how the car HAS BEEN A POS since I got it. Only 3 weeks ago. It's been one problem after another. I told them everything that's happened and told them it's broken down on route 30 and where it was. They said do you want us to fix it. I said I don't want the POS. They asked can I tow it to them so they can see what's wrong. I don't have triple A. They said do you know anyone who does. My response was this: "I don't know anyone with AAA. I put $3,000 onto this car. I'm taking a loss. That's probably what you paid for it at the auction. So you're not losing. I am. I want something else. I'm not putting another dollar into that car. So you can either go get it. Or you'll be paying a tow bill and repo-ing it from a tow lot because I'm not paying for it" dudes response (aka Zach), "Sounds good" and he literally walked away from me and left me in the office alone. Me to myself: "well I guess that conversation is over" I didn't get a chance to fix the damages from the car drifting down my driveway and hitting my shed before the engine blew and left my brother stranded on rout
