A booth of street signs and reclaimed letters

4 stars for easy access when staying at The Row casinos, this faire has food trucks, drink carts and many booths to browse. A good mix of western, MCM, toy collectibles, glassware, jewelry, vintage clothing etc. Minus a star because there are too many T shirt booths for my liking. All of the vendors were friendly and presented their wares nicely and were organized which is a plus for me.

The weather cooperated in incredible fashion for this event. Just 24 hours before there was a biting cold that may have kept most shoppers at home or in their hotel rooms. This is somewhere between a flea market, craft fair mixed in with a bit of antique sellers. There are food & drink vendors as well as music. Sort of like the vendor part of Hot August Nights or the Italian Festival without the "event" part. The service, value, and price varies booth to booth but it is fun looking.

The pros: it's free, the location is convenient (just outside of El Dorado Casino, North Virginia St) as there is plenty of parking, and there are food trucks and beverage vendors. The cons (personal preference only): small vendor spaces so they brought a small selection of items, most of which I wasn't interested in. Those that brought clothing to sell... prices were on the high side. I do hope that Reno Antique Faire (3rd Sunday of every month, June through Oct) continues as it's great seeing so many people out and about.

The Reno Antique Faire is such a wonderful event for both locals and visitors. It's a great opportunity to get outside, explore a wide variety of vendors with all different styles and discover something unique. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just browsing, there's something for everyone. What really stands out is how well-organized and smoothly run the event is. You can tell the organizer genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for everyone in attendance. The fact that it's a free public event makes it even better. Highly recommend to anyone in Reno or just passing through!

Very successful first RAF! Sold half of what I bought. So many great sellers I didn't have time to see it all. Love seeing all these hard working vendors grow their business. It was also funny to see people get a bit fussy about what is considered antique these days. I thought it was the perfect mix. Time goes on. Laura kicked ass. Any time I needed her she was available. Doing it again for sure. Shoppers bring cash and shopping bags. There's something for everyone.

This is such an incredible event for Reno to have! I've attended as both a vendor and a shopper and the quality and organization is like no other event I've participated in. There's such an awesome eclectic mix of vintage and antique vendors with their own niche and approach. Participating as a vendor has been seamless due to the dedicated work of Laura. As a shopper, it's been an incredible experience to see so many different types of vintage and antique sellers come together in one place to peruse and buy treasures! It's such a thoughtfully curated event with reasonable price points across the board from super affordable to collectible items.

Ask the Community - Reno Antique Faire

Is this an outdoor or indoor event and is it worth driving from Sacramento for?

It is an outdoor event on Virginia Street from 2nd Street to 4th Street (road closed). The event is about 25% antiques, 25% flea market, 25% craft fair, and the rest is food & drink. SAC Made or Midsummer would be about the same. If you visit the…

Where is the best place to park?

HI Michele! On Sundays, Downtown Reno is free to park on the street or in the parking garages. The closest parking garages to the Faire are Eldorado and Cal Neva.…

This had to be the weirdest thrift store experience I have ever had. We were drawn to the shop by…read moregoogle and the zen name & signs out front. At first we thought it was closed because all of the lights were off. But the main door was unlocked and we entered. There was 3 people sitting at the table in the middle of the store - they stared us down but didn't say a word. We wondered the entire store which was primarily books, movies/dvds/VHS & furniture, with a few odds and ends. I think my definition of "gift store" is different than theirs because I didn't see much that I would categorize in that department. The odor in this store was the usual thrift store aroma, with a splash of...something very unpleasant. We saw what looked like a music venue in the back with a few guys talking really loudly from that area. After wondering the store, we started to work our way to the front when one of the gentleman practically ran to follow us out. When we looked back at him, he pulled out his key and dangled it indicating he was locking the door behind us, still not saying a single word to us. Out of probably 5 people in that store, not a single one said anything to us. If they were closed, they should have locked the door behind them - it was Saturday late morning.... I would label this more as a used book/music/movie store. I definitely won't waste my time here again. Such a weird experience!
