First of all public transportation in united states suck majorly, the automobile industry has…read morereally done a great job of messing up public transportation. The internet gave me an address for the amtrak station at 135 E commercial through AI, well screw ai because that sent me to a dead end with overgrown grass near some train tracks, while the real address was 280 n center street outside the amtrak station, to top it off I had an adventure trying to locate where to catch the "amtrak" coach. I needed to get to San Francisco and it necessitated not driving. I looked at various options for getting to the bay area and I can realize how bad our transportation system is in just the western part of united states. In this day and age one would think you could get a direct train from the state capitol of nevada to the bay area or from reno. Fooled you, there is no train to the bay area via such. From the trip I endured, from reno to san francisco. The trip entails a ridiculous long bus ride from reno to sacramento then a transfer to a real amtrak train to emeryville, then another bus ride to somewhere in san francisco. I gotta admit I saw the country from a very high vantage point, we sat in a coach that was at or above the height of a semi, stuff I never see while I'm driving, since I'm not a sightseer no big deal, I'm pretty much a point A to point B driver. The bus trip was around five hours, I could have driven to the bay area in that amount of time, then to sacramento transferring to a real Amtrak train to emeryville and transferring to a bus to an area south of market when I had to figure my bearings to walk up to market street to get muni. I finally ended my travels that day around 10pm after starting at 1pm and if I had try to leave from carson city my trip would have started around 8am. So in closing our public transportation is woefully inadequate in a populated area, on would imagine how inadequate it is out in a unpopulated area.

The pricing was the best in town, we use another service provider as well and post Covid the cost of travel for any group has been exponential. We found the use of a 25 passenger and their 28 passenger to work just right for our group of 41. The drivers Keith, Larry and Roger were nice, friendly and responsive to working with high school students. The drive down and back were uneventful and they maintained a good pace (given any traffic issues). Our plan is to use them again and hopefully book a third 28 passenger to accommodate more students. Highly recommend.

Our route started at Black Rabbit Mead and rolled through Ole Bridge Pub, Social Tap, and Our Bar, before wrapping things up at The Depot next door. If you've got a big group, book the private rental--it's totally worth it. Smaller crew? Grab a few individual seats and still join the fun. The staff is awesome, and the follow car makes you feel like a local celeb as you cruise downtown. Pro tip: show up at least 30 minutes early. Black Rabbit gets crowded with multiple groups starting or ending their rides, which can slow down service and eat into your bike time.

They recommended we get there 15 minutes early, but I would definitely try to get there at least 30 to 45 minutes before to ensure you aren't cutting into your reservation time, so you can decorate, mingle, and grab a drink in Black Rabbit Mead before take off. Your time ends at the 2 hr mark regardless of when you take off. We got there as recommended and there was only one bartender for a massive group of us and another group who reserved a bike for the day, so it was pretty chaotic and took much longer than expected. I would also recommend knowing which stops you want to go to. There is a list online, so come prepared and enjoy! Overall the driver was fantastic as was the experience. We will definitely be reserving another bike in the future!

My husband requested the spot (empty) next to our friends. We were told it was reserved for a 40…read morefoot bus. (Fair enough) We were put in a small spot to put our 30 ft travel trailer AND somehow park our F350. My husband was dissatisfied and they moved us to a little larger spot. Lo and behold the next morning in the spot next to our friends was a travel trailer the same size as ours if not smaller! A lot of full timers here as well. Not my cup of tea. I needed to use the bathroom this morning and there was no AC in the bathrooms! It has been triple digits here in Reno and I can't imagine using bathroom during the heat of the day. We will never come here again. The KOA in Boomtown was much nicer. We would have stayed there but we wanted to be with our friends.

This park is great. The staff is wonderful, the park clean and quiet, and the spaces are decent…read moresized. I recommend this park as a safe spot to not only live full time, but to rest up if you are passing through Reno. It is easy on and off the freeway and close to shopping. Debbie is fantastic!! I have met with her a couple of times. I'm trying to plan something new to…read moretake my wife to and I have a few ideas, but I am not a great planner. I once took my wife to Legoland. That was a failure. Debbie is patient as I also get seasick on the ocean, but I am confident that we can find something perfect. I have brochures galore for a nice British Columbia getaway. If you need someone who knows her stuff, you need to call Debbie. She has been on dozens - yes dozens of ships and knows the good ones and also which ones to avoid. One of the ideas I had was a river cruise through Europe. Perfect I thought I had hit the jackpot with that one. She informed me that at the time I wanted to go the rivers in Europe were so low at that point that the ships didn't move. You were driven by taxi from city to city and then stayed on the boats in drydock. I would trust nobody else to plan my cruise. She has done anniversary trips for friends and dos an amazing job. I feel I need to report all the good things she has done and I haven't even yet found something I can do. Call Debbie, you won't regret it.
