First of all, the customer service was excellent! I rented 30 chairs and 2 tables for a party. The employees help me load them as well as unload them in a very professional manner. The chairs and tables were clean and ready for use. I had to leave a deposit, which most places you have to do but the refund was hassle free. I rented tables & chairs from Rental Max in Orland Park, IL for a graduation party. 55 minutes before delivery, I received a call telling me that I had to be charged a $400 hold on my credit card instead of the $200 I was originally told. I was at my daughter's graduation when they called me. I was told because I was a new customer I had to receive the hold charge. When I asked (as my daughter's class was marching in) why I was not informed about this fee, there was an "I don't know" explanation given. I had spoken to three different people before the delivery date & this new customer charge was never brought up. Luckily, I had the amount on my credit card given I did not have a choice less than an hour before delivery for her party, which was the same day. I called about five times to speak to manager & have been unable to reach the manager. The pick up driver even called for me & still no return phone call. I feel this location has bad customer service & a matter-of- fact attitude. The reason I gave them two stars was because of the efficiency of the deliverymen during pickup & the driver's attempt to contact the manager. read more
