I had the team come out to clean up my 2 heavily used Treager Smokers. They start by taking the grills through a diagnostic check my first grill checked out and they did an amazing job. The second grill had a number of errors come up (hand not used it in about a year) quoted a fix before anything was done and we landed on letting it go. There was no pressure to do the fix which was going to be around $700 and recommended saving the money for a new grill. They did a great job, both repairing clogged plate heating elements, and renewing the spark gaps across all points. They also cleaned up the side burner as well. Besides making it more safe identifying that the heating element pipes were clogged but were also in the wrong place both for the start spark elements and the natural gas port. This fixed a previous dangerous situation. Overall, great experience, professional as well. The scheduler also help shift things around as needed quickly and efficiently. I had concerns that my Bull Gas Grill burners where not functioning properly. It turns out they were function properly. The technician unclogged one of my burners and cleaned them. He also lubricated the burner knobs. Excellent service. I was given some tips for care and maintenance of my grill. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great practical advice. The tech and Amber, the scheduler were both great and kept me up to date on the repair since I couldn't be home while they were there for the repairs. They even sent pictures and videos. I tried to get an appt last year but do to covid never could get one They came yesterday at 8 am ready Power tools and cleaners the started on our 25 year old wolf bbq grill So many years of baked on Stuff water spots and old food it was a bigg job The tech used a wite wheel to ckean all the cast iron grates it took all of 5 hours and my only regret is i did not gove them a larger tip If possible i would like to send them more the grill looks very good I will have them replace ignitirs and one burner knob Wish i would of found you sooner read more

First, this company and their technicians do excellent work and I strongly recommend them and will use them again. I didn't give them 5 stars because of their business practices. I ask if they took MasterCard and the technician said yes but there would be a 3% convenience fee. Ah come on . . . there should be no convenience fee - that is the cost of doing business in the U.S. (Yes, government agencies charge convenience fees but they do so because of law) I then ask the price for their work and they gave me the price and I wrote check #1. During the cleaning the technician told me I needed a new igniter but that he did not have it with him and he would have to come back later to install the igniter. I gave him check #1 and he told me I would have to pay for the igniter now. I asked him why I had to pay for something that he was unable to provide to me and he told me it was his company's "policy." I ask the price of the igniter and wrote check #2 (for the cleaning and the igniter). I told the technician that I did not have to be home for the igniter installation and he asked me who was going to pay for the installation! I assumed the price of the igniter included installation - but apparently it did not - I now wrote check #3. Suggestions for Sparkle Grill: 1. Drop the convenience "fee." A convenience fee is "old style" business and a turn off for the customer. You will get more customers by accepting credit cards without a convenience fee. 2. Don't charge the customer for parts you don't have and can't install at that moment. Plumbers, electricians and other trades don't charge until they have the part and have installed the part. Include the installation fee with the total price of the part. In reading other reviews Sparkle business practices are not always clear to the customers. read more

I moved into a new house, the island BBQ/grill was a disaster. They're pricey, about $400 for basic refurbishing but I was sold on the before and after photos. My grill kind of worked, only one burner's ignition was operative, but it was filthy. They said they could bring it back to brand new, I received an appointment in about three weeks. I'm sure this is the busy time of year for them so I wasn't bothered by that. I was given an hour window and they were there on time. A crew of two disassembled it and went to work power washing the whole thing. I was told they would fix the ignition and needed to replace the ceramic briquettes, an additional $80. I told them to go ahead. After about two hours the grill looked great. Maybe 80% brand new. They cleaned up the area around it, sink and such, I was quite happy. Only the original working burner ignited but it was still wet so I figured it would be fine when it dried. It wasn't. Island grills are generally a pain in the ass to light manually. I expected it to work, and it doesn't. It looks great, hence at least two stars, but I'm really disappointed the igniters don't work. At nearly $500, I would expect everything to be at least functional. read more

These guys are top notch. I have a grill that I inherited when I bought the house. Its almost 20 years old, and I've cleaned it myself several times - and it is always an absolute nightmare, taking the better part of the day. Recently my grill stopped producing enough heat to grill. So, I cleaned it again. Drilled out all of the burner holes, etc.. No dice. Sparkle Grill came out and correctly diagnosed the issue (bad regulator) replaced it and fixed ALL of my twist starters and my rotisserie regulator. Now it gets so hot, I swear I could cremate a body in there! :) Since I had just cleaned the grill I declined to have them do it now. I know they will do a stellar job, but I want to get at least some mileage out of my hard work, right? Anyway, based on the quality of their work, great communication, excellent results I almost can't wait to get my grill cleaned next time. I saw other reviewers talking about the $400 cost to clean the grill. Well, my grill costs almost $4000 to replace it with similar quality, so that is definitely a super price to get my grill in near new condition. read more

Our Lynx gas grill caught fire, was totally destroyed, and Lynx made it incredibly hard to have our replacement parts covered under their warranty. We tried to call them several times and decided to just give up. I found Sparkle Grill Sacramento on Google and immediately gave them a call. Jimmy and Tung came out to do a free check up, which was really kind of them as it was pouring rain the whole day. The guys went above and beyond to help us. Jimmy contacted their office and somehow managed to get Lynx on the line. Just when I thought it could not get any better, they got Lynx to send us the replacement parts!!! That alone saved us $300-$400. They came back after a week and put the grill back together, cleaned it up, and it works better now than when I first got it! Their rate was extremely reasonable, consider the amount of time and work they put in. Jimmy and Tung were very friendly and hard-workers. My one star is not for the service I received but for the company itself. I had a $25 coupon (from a local trade magazine). My charge for the cleaning service was $299 so I gave the service technician a check for $274 and the coupon and he left. He came back to tell me the coupon was only for the comprehensive cleaning. So I gave him a check for $299. Apparently I received an express cleaning not a comprehensive cleaning. Two people were here for three hours and that's considered an express cleaning? If you see their coupon and want to apply it to your service get clarification up front. Not good business practice for getting a recommendation. read more

Outstanding! Sparkle came this morning and it took a crew of two about 4 hrs., but the end result is amazing!! Our 5-6 year old Weber propane grill had never really been cleaned, and we grill a LOT. The outside looks positively new, and Sparkle was able to get the inside of the hood to where it looks like it's maybe been used a few times. The grates look practically new - I can rub my hand across them and it stays completely clean. Will absolutely, positively do this again (and won't wait another 5 years, either). I have an 10-12 year old 5 burner stainless steel BBQ that gets heavy use. I "clean" it every spring but this year the accumulated grime, ceramic briquette holders were rusted out, ignitors stopped working last summer, and this no gas flow at all crossed the line. Called sparkle, set an appointment with no problem. David showed up with a partner and dove in. Cleaned, scrubbed, polished, everything in the grill inside and out. Repaired regulator, ordered new ceramic briquettes, ignitors ignite, cleaned the area. I now have a virtually new BBQ ready for more years of cooking for way less than replacing the grill. I could not be happier with Sparkle Grill! We installed an outdoor kitchenette/BBQ a few years ago and recently decided to cover it. 3 years of normal wear and tear from use (and the elements) and our coyote grill was in need of some TLC. Sparkle Customer Service was great as I received same day response and was able to schedule an appointment immediately. Everything was done via text and email which made things easy. On the day of the appointment, I received a courtesy text and automated phone call 30 mins prior to their arrival and I was pleased to say that when the technicians arrived they paid great attention to detail, conducted the deep cleaning and left the area in better shape than before. I was very impressed with this company from start to finish. I emailed for a quote and received a prompt response from Mai and set up a comprehensive cleaning appointment. The technician showed up early (sorry I can't remember his name now) and explained the other tech called in sick so he would be doing the job himself. He ended up far exceeding my expectations. As far as I know, our roughly 7-year old built-in Fire Magic grill had never been cleaned. It has seen consistent heavy use and was in pretty rough shape. He went over everything with me, even showing me a few different features I wasn't aware of, and got to work on the cleaning. He finished about an hour sooner than he estimated and I couldn't be happier with the result. My grill literally looks almost brand new. He even got the back burner cover to a mirror shine.
