Avocado toast

The place was busy so I'm sure the rest of the food is good but y'all do not order the avocado toast - I can not believe someone put this in a box I had a good laugh and it was only $3

Salad bar.

I am starting to try new lunch spots around my office, instead of repeating the same places I populate multiple times a week and a few Yelp reviews brought me to Renee's Bistro. It's a small cafe located in one of the office buildings off Boy Scout Blvd. I got the salad bar and my boyfriend got a grilled chicken wrap. The grilled chicken wrap took over 10 minutes to make, with zero customers in the cafe. He got the ranch on the side so the wrap was pretty flavorless unless you dipped it in the ranch. I wanted to try the salad bar but was a little disappointed when I got there. The salad bar was just basic (three types of lettuce, veggies, eggs, bacon, ham and different cheeses to choose from) and costs $6.40/lb. I find it hard to drive here to get the salad bar, when you can drive two minutes down the road to have "the mother of all salad bars" from Whole Foods for just $5.99/lb. Overall, Renee's is your typical, office building cafe that is convenient for individuals working in that building, but nothing to "leave your office for" if you have to drive there.

Have been here multiple times and it will be a 40 minute wait for a very simple order.

Tried the Angus burger it was nasty . Breakfast is decent. The ketchup they keep in small plastic container stinks.

The fries were delish. They were cooked right with a sprinkle of salt. The turkey burger was juicy with the right bread. I should have ordered a second. We also had a pork empanada. I was surprised that the pork was not shredded. Instead it came i chunks but it worked! The meat was flavorful and the dough complimented the meat well. This was my first time and it definitely lived up to the hype. My only gripe was that it's a bit pricey. That being said, I will be eating there again!

It's never disappointed but with all things time does things to places, and it's just not the same. Waffle Burger: I had mine without cheese, a unique quirk of mine, the patty was less dense and saltier, a contrast to the quality I'm used to. While the bottom half of the waffle was soggy, fell apart when picking it up, even an air fryer couldn't save it. I eat the rest and it was ok at best, overall was hoping for better. Fries: The fries were ok, nothing too special. Overall I'd give it a 2/5

One of the best burgers I've had!…read more This is pirate-themed sports bar in downtown Tampa sitting on the main floor of Skypoint Condominium. It's a great spot and usually while in Downtown Tampa we walk over, it's across the street from Curtis Hixon Park and few museums. As stated, we normally go during lunch and always pretty dead. Sometimes it feels like a downtown burger secret - sooo if it is I never said a thing. It's offers a full bar, happy hour I'm sure, and I hear it's a popular spot for watching sports. Menu favorites include the "Pirate's Pick" burger, smash burgers, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and sooo much more. Staff is really attentive, always filling drinks and getting anything you need. I will admit the kitchen can be a bit slow, but the staff makes up for it. So if ever at Riverwalk, take a stroll for a great burger and fries and iced cold beer.

This is a good place for a big, Instagram-ready burger…read more My son really wanted to try TNT burger having heard about it from friends. We went, hoping to have a great burger and support a local business. They don't serve alcohol, and they only offer one flavor of milkshake (Nutella on the day we visited). You order at the counter if eating out, or the server will take your order from your table if you are dining in. There are only a few seats in the whole place, and the largest table is for 6. I ordered a nacho burger. My daughter ordered a side of fries and the quail eggs. My son ordered the COVID-19 burger. My husband ordered a classic cheeseburger with a side of fries. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out. The server was running the cash register, taking orders, and delivering food, so the food came out one plate at a time in between his other work. My daughter's quail eggs were overboiled and served cold. She ate them all, but they were pretty blah. The fries were good. We only received one order, rather than the two. Not sure where the miscommunication was in the kitchen, the server was surprised and confused when we pointed it out when the check came. My burger was excellent. It was salty and crunchy and cooked to a medium as requested. My only complaint was that the bun was served cold. If you can't grill or toast it, at least steam it so it isn't cold? My main complaint is the price is closer to a real restaurant price, but the restaurant setting is more like a fast food place. I'm not sure that sitting in very uncomfortable seats while ordering from a folding paper menu justifies prices double that of Shake Shack or BurgerFi. The burgers were good, but I'd also like the ability to drink a beer with my burger, which I can do at Shake Shack or BurgerFi.
