This was not a huge job, but my sink would not stop clogging so they were referred to me. They were able to come out the next day and do a full rooter of my system that runs from my sink to I have no idea where. It has been awhile now and still all is well. I think they went beyond a simple unclogging and repaired what needed to be done. The staff is great, be they on the phone or at the house. They don't leave a mess for me to clean up. I found them to be professional, clean and nice. They also have such a cute truck and their employees have company shirts.

Charlie's Sewer and Drain set up an appointment and sent out their plumbing tech Cesar to have a look. Cesar was on time, friendly, and knowledgable. He popped open the trap and also tried to clear the clog in the drain with his more industrial-strength snake. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful -- the pipes are so old and corroded that we suspect it will take a much bigger repair. He wrapped up and cleaned up, and after we discussed possible next steps, he got us an estimate for further work within the hour. He didn't charge us since we weren't able to get the clog cleared, which I really appreciate. At time of writing, we're doing due diligence to collect other estimates, but my engagement with Cesar and Charlie's S&D was really favorable, and deserved a great review.

Unfortunately, the problem couldn't be easily fixed. Despite the rushed appointment and late on a Friday, they didn't charge me. They provided excellent advice and options for moving forward with a solution. Once we figure out our path, I plan on hiring them to get our hot water back!

When we disconnected the Washer, the valve started leaking. I attempted to fix it and it turned into a gusher because I couldn't find the turn off valve for the IDU. I called around maybe 8 plumbers and not one either didn't answer the phone or couldn't come out today. When I got hold of Plumbing Dudes, Armen answered and immediatly said they could be out as soon as possible. No "maybe" or "let me see". He was positive and reassured me they could be out this afternoon, within an hour. Saul showed up 15 minutes later and he was fantastic! He was able to fix the issue in less then 15 minutes. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. He explains what is urgent, what is manageable, and what may become a future capital repair issue without trying to create panic or pressure. I was ultimately very pleased with my experience with Repipe specialists. The house that needed the plumbing upgrade is nearly 100 years old and had some major challenges including limited attic and crawlspace access. The estimator that showed up for the initial appointment was professional and very thorough. He explained that the work required numerous openings be made to the interior and exterior walls and ceilings. He explained that after the re-piping portion was complete, their patching crew would return the walls and ceiling to their original condition, ready for painting. While the amount of planned destruction made me anxious, the quoted price seemed fair and the house was currently vacant, so I decided to take a chance. Nearly a dozen men showed up on the scheduled date. After a brief discussion with the foreman, the crew brought out their Sawzalls and began ripping holes in the walls. At that point, I had knots in my stomach and thought I might have made a big mistake. I left the house, not too sure what I would find when I returned. At about 4 PM that afternoon, the foreman called and said they had completed the re-piping which caused me more concern, since it was a huge amount of work to be done in one day. When I returned, there were dozens of holes in the walls and ceilings, as promised, but the copper piping visible in each opening appeared to be orderly and properly installed. New shower fixtures and valves installed throughout the house were of good quality and neat in appearance. The city inspector arrived the next day, took one look at the first set of soldered joints and remarked that he could see that it was a quality job and signed off on it. While I was happy to have the piping completed, I still had dozens of holes to contend with and was concerned how the finished project would look. A two man crew arrived to do the patching and I think even they were surprised at the number of holes and the amount of work required. They went to work and after two days called me to inspect their work. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The rough texture of the exterior plaster was matched in all the patches and the various interior wall and ceiling textures had all been matched as well. After experiencing buyer's remorse at several points throughout the process, I can honestly say that I can see no way this tough job could have been handled better. From beginning to end Repipe Specialists of Texas did a great job; starting with setting up the estimate. I called and received an e-mail a few minutes later with Steve's picture so that I would know who was coming to our home. Great safety precautions guys! Steve and Michael came to our home with samples of all the materials they would be using. Repipe definitely uses excellent material, heavy duty shut off valves and Uponor PEX piping. They also explained the process of repiping a house and answered all our questions. We felt the estimate was fair, which included the drywall repair, an extra faucet in my back yard, recessed boxes behind my refrigerator for the ice maker and in the laundry room for the washer. They also brought my water heater up to city code. I explained that I had 2 minor leaks and some rusty water in the front bathroom. Our home was built in the 70's with galvanized pipe, and before we had major problems we wanted it fixed. Repipe Specialists offers financing with 0% interest for one year plus a lifetime guarantee. The plumbing company who came out was Courtesy plumbing. Phillip the owner and Daniel the Field supervisor were very easy to work with. Donny, Billy and Daniel worked like the energizer bunny all day. I have never seen such hard working guys as this crew. They arrived around 8 am and worked until past 11 pm. My home had some very tight spaces, and even though it was October it was extremely hot in the attic. They covered the floor with drop cloths and vacuumed up everything before they left. They were professional and respectful of our home. They were very friendly and trustworthy. My son had a tool box on the table and at the end of the day when they were cleaning up they inadvertently picked up his tool case. During their tool count the noticed it and returned my sons tools immediately. Who knows when we would have noticed this? Courtesy plumbing completed everything that was stated in the contract and answered my questions all day. Phillip set up the appointment with the city inspector the next day, and passed with ease. The sheetrock guys came 2 days later. There were a few minor glitches along the way with the sheetrock guys, but Daniel saw that they were taken care of immediately. We would definitely recommend Repipe Specialists of Texas. Great job guys. read more

Over time the water in my two showers and sinks began to turn rust colored, I also had very low water pressure in one of the showers. And showering in rust colored water was quite disgusting. After doing my own research about what's involved in repiping an entire house, I began to call different repiping companies in Los Angeles. I got bids from three different companies and decided to go with Repipe Specialists as their salesman was the most knowledgeable and professional . He was also the only one who was able to answer all my questions without having to put me on hold. As far as price goes their bid was $1000 cheaper than their competitors. I immediately setup an appointment for the job. A few days later one of their senior supervisors came out and he was very nice. He inspected the plumbing in my entire house, and identified the problems immediately. He had been with the company for nearly 20 years and really knew what he was doing. From the research I'd done the difference between hiring a plumber and using a company like Repipe Specialists is that they solely specialize in repiping. Which is a much more complicated job than fixing a leaky pipe or broken faucet. Two days after the supervisor came out the repiping crew showed up and began work. They made sure to make the holes in the walls in the least noticeable places (like behind my fridge, sink and couch). Once they got into the walls they ripped out all the old rusty pipes (40 years old) and replaced them with brand new copper pipes. They were done with the entire job in only two days, which was great! The supervisor even took me through and showed me all the work they had done, and even showed me the pipes that were causing my problems. When we were faced with taking care of a slab leak, we did some homework, got estimates and decided on Repipe Specialists. That was a very good decision! The person who came for the estimate was personable and informative. He went into much detail, using pictures and samples, about the procedures to be done, and materials that would be used. He clearly described the time involved and what we should expect during the work: how long the water would be off, how much dust etc. there might be, when the workmen would arrive, and all related issues. We went over all the exact work to be done. The final budget was worked out, and we gave ourselves a couple of days to be sure of our decision. No problem. Not much required of us really. Just put away personal items that we would not want bothered, clear the areas under sinks etc. The first team, led by Adis, was on time, very friendly and prepared to begin. They put down walking tarps over floors and moved any large pieces of furniture (like the refrigerator and dishwasher) that needed to be moved. The team worked diligently; made neat inside drywall, and outside stucco. cuts. They politely answered any questions we had along the way. Everything was cleaned up when they finished, well inside the time we were told they would need. The second day, the close-up team showed up ready to go and began prep work. After the city inspector's approval, the crew finished all the close-up work, including the outside stucco areas and inside drywall, by the end of the day. We were pleased with the professional attitude, follow-up and completion of the work by Repipe Specialist. On time, on budget, and with attention to detail. Good Decision!! read more

Got work started sooner than initially stipulated during contract signing..thanks to Rafael Gonzales. PEX Repipe with reroute of water supply copper pipeline from meter to house completed in one day (water supply restored as promised). Patching of exterior and interior walls used to route new lines completed the following day. Front lawn not fully restored to original condition but Mike Salazar refunded $50 I paid to my Gardener to fix it. Overall, repipe work was very good with associated cleanup after each stage. The work crew knew their stuff and were well coordinated (good team work). Interior water lines (hot and cold) were all hidden - no ugly exposed lines compared to repipe work by other contractor that I have seen. One downside was correction notice by the Diamond Bar Building and Safety Division Inspector on absence of Job Card in the site and omission of main line replacement in the Permit. The Permit Inspection request was initially applied for "PEX Repipe" only. It was subsequently amended to include "Replacement of Main Water Line". However, the succeeding Inspection resulted in another Correction Notice because of lack of grounding from the new main line. This was corrected by myself by following the Inspector's suggestion to "Bond the cold water line at water heater with #8 bare copper wire to the main electrical panel's ground bar". As of today 05/26/16, I haven't received the Lifetime Warranty promised by Repipe Specialists contact who advised that it should be in the mail before 05/30/16. read more

We had Repipe Specialists repipe our home in August of 2014 with a combination of copper pipe (exposed in garage) and PEX pipe (in walls and attic). The salesman, Michael Norris was helpful, courteous and no pressure to buy. We obtained a second bid from a local plumbing contractor, but it was substantially higher. We decided on Repipe Specialists, not only for price, but the presentation by Michael Norris showing detailed information on material used and references from other jobs. The installation crew was efficient, clean and listened well to any questions or suggestions we had. They installed shut off valves in many locations for convenience. The holes cut in the walls were patched but not painted. After we painted, you couldn't tell where they had been. We purchased new shower valves and heads (not through Repipe Specialists) to be installed during the installation and the installation crew installed them for us. We are very pleased with our repipe experience and would recommend considering Repipe Specialists for your repipe needs. read more

We had Repipe Specialists come to our home over a year ago. We had a slab leak. My wife and I decided on a complete repiping due to slab leaks that occured every two-three years. They sent their salesperson who went over our options. He was very thorough and explained all our options. We agreed on the materials to use and we agreed on the price. They showed up on the appointed day/time with 6 or more plumbers. Each one went to a specific location in the home and we were amazed on the speed of their work. Another plumber quoted more money and one week of time. Repipe specialists were done 12 hours later. One day to completely repipe our huge home was amazing. The workers were courteous and neat. 4 days later 2 drywall specialists showed up as promised and after working two full days, the drywall was superbly done. Repipe did a fantasic job at my house when I developed a slab leak. A lot of work by very rofessional people - from the start with the estimator, the actual crew who came in and prepped my house with plastic barriers and coverd all the flooring. The next step was the crew cutting holes in the walls and ceiling to rereoute the pipes. The next crew came in to actually do the repiping with PEX and worked diligently, and surprisingly not very noisy. After repiping was finished and all clamped in securely, the plastering crew returned and plastered the many, many holes that were originally cut - another great job as I can hardly see where they patched. They worked extremely clean and even ran their vac from upstairs down and out to the front door - then cleaned the driveway too. I highly recommend this compny - G&W Plumbing did the actual work and their foreman Jimmy is a very professional gentleman and leads an outstanding crew. After seeing the damage done to our neighbor's home & furnishings from a slab leak, we decided to be proactive in our thirty year old home & schedule repiping. We met with a few contractors & ultimately decided to use Repipe Specialists, as they were able to answer our questions to our satisfaction & followed up with us within a short time. Following a few meetings & receiving a proposal, the Repipe Specialists crew arrived according to schedule & started the work. While there is bound to be dust during this process, they made every effort to keep it to a minimum. During the repiping a few challenges were met with their expertise & were resolved. The team was very professional and knowledgeable regarding the work and materials. Very impressive. I've already gone ahead and recommended Repipe Specialists to another one of my neighbors - I was most pleased with the rapid work that they completed - the workers were very aware of the mess that this type of work creates and they tried to be especially careful in our home and they cleaned up everything after their job was completed. Repipe Specialist was highly recommended to me by one of my clients. I called to schedule an appointment and to my surprise they sent out Sales Manager Ross Chagovets who was on time. Being a single female I am often treated differently then when a construction person is speaking to a male. Ross treated me with respect and patiently explained every detail of what I could expect with my repiping project, Ross even showed up on the day of my installation to see how everything was going. On the day of my repiping Albert was the lead guy with a crew of 6 guys. They showed up on time, Albert walked me through what I could expect that day and did exactly what he said he was going to do. After receiving a notice from my water Company that my meter was spinning, I called to have the problem diagnosed, as there were no obvious leaks in or around the house, it was determined that I had a slab leak in several places. Since my Son had used Repipe Specialists in 2005 to re pipe his house, I called to get an estimate of the repairs. A gentleman named Steveo came and gave me what I felt was a reasonable price, so I signed a contract. The estimate was on a Thursday, work was started on Monday and the re pipe was done the same day. After inspection by the County, the patchers came the next Monday, since numerous cutouts in the walls and ceiling were necessary, and the work was completed that day. Repipe Specialist repiped our entire single story house in one day. They really knew what they were doing and cleaned up very carefully. In all we had 34 holes made in both bathrooms, hallway, living room, two hallways, closet and laundry room. They took out all of the thin copper pipes and replaced with flexible pipes. We had five leaks in the last 3 years and our house in only 13 years old. They took care of the license beforehand and contacted the city for the inspector to come out the next day. Then, two experts came the next day and filled the holes perfectly. They did it in one day. We were very pleased and when we had a question about our toilets that leaked, the supervisor came quickly and told us that since the water pressure was greater with the new pipes, we had to get new toilets. Steve's team from Repipe Specialist did a very good job on our whole house repipe. I had contacted other companies for bids, but I ultimately chose Repipe Specalist because of their A+ rating with BBB and their excellent referals here on Yelp and Angie's list. The team was right on time the morning they were to start. Every one of the four guys working at my house that day was very courteous and respectful towards my wife and I. I was pleasantly surprised how few holes needed to be cut in the walls and ceiling to route the new PEX lines. The team was here from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but they finished in one day, total house repipe with new water heater installed. You may be able to find a lower price quote, but I am very happy I chose Repipe Specialist, I would definitely make the same decision and choose RS if I had to do it all over again. read more

I have a 1954 house that had all its old piping which of course was causing me trouble. I called three plumbing company's out for an estimate. I was only impressed with one and that one was Repipe Specialist. John the representative for Repipe Specialist came to my home and after a walk through and a discussion of what was needed to get my pipes up to date, I decided to go with them. The other two piping companies bid came up well above more than what was quoted to me from John. Repipe Specialists, Inc. came highly recommended. They did not disappoint. They were awesome in every way! They are very customer focused. Price point was perfect. As promised, we had water at the end of the first day. Our entire household was handled with care, all items covered with plastic including floors and carpet AND left perfectly clean when they finished each day. They understand the inconvenience of a leak. Rafael Gonzalez was a great sales rep, Jimmy and his crew were superb repipers (finished in 1 day). After having several pipe leaks in our home caused by the crummy PVC piping installed by the builders of our house, I decided to get proactive before having a major flood. So I reached out to Repipe Specialists for a free estimate and I was not disappointed. Their sales guy Jon explained the whole process in detail and we got a terrific estimate that included a 20 percent discount. The guys who came to do the repiping were very professional and did a wonderful job and finished the entire job well before we thought it would be completed. And the crew that came to do drywall was just as professional, and just as quick. All in all it could not have gone better and I would recommend them highly to anyone. When John (our salesman) came to give us an estimate he was very patient and professional. He was always respectful and took his time to answer all our questions. We were very pleased with all the work that was done. Alfredo (the foreman) and all his crew, from the repipers to the drywall crew, were very efficient and courteous. They came promptly, at their scheduled times, and always tried to keep things as clean and neat as possible. We used Repipe Specialists out of Burbank. They subbed out to an outfit named RePipe Pros and their team did a wonderful job. We were very pleased as the crew was there on time, went straight to work, went above and beyond what we had expected, and left the place truly spotless. We were concerned about them trenching the front yard, but by the time they left, you couldn't even tell anyone had disturbed the ground. They came back exactly when they promised and completed patch work after the city inspectors signed off. Everything was done professionally and with good attention to detail. Then, in 2022, we had an in-wall pinhole leak, and I managed to fix the leak with a rubber pad and a hose clamp. Definitely did the trick! I also performed a couple of preventive fixes on those cooper green spots. It's an indication of a future pinhole leak. Knowing we were on borrowed time, on 1/8/26, 5yrs later, the formal living room carpet was soaking wet. That's the second slab leak and the 3rd leak. To repair or to repipe, that is the question....??? After speaking with Mike regarding our situation, Mike suggested it's really time to repipe. Only if we had done it 5yrs ago, I could have saved a lot more and not dealt with water damage. Sure, I can spend another $1500-$2000 on a repair, but my days are truly counting. I finally decided to pull the trigger, and I regretted why I didn't do it 5 yrs ago for $8k. Prices went up A LOT! Sigh..... I finalized the project with Mike on Tuesday, and Mike and Zara arranged the crew to come on Thursday. A team of 8 people quickly went to work. 4 Bathrooms + kitchen + Fridge + laundry room + laundry sink + 4 hose bibs were all completed in one day! (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) The house looked like it had gone through WW III with so many random holes everywhere. I was wondering how they were able to restore the house to its original condition. Finally, after the city inspection was passed, the wall patch team came in. On day 1, only 2 guys came. They were courteous and did the best they could for 1 day. On day 2, an entire army of 8 came in and finished the drywall patching and texturing. All done. I could hardly tell the wall had been patched. Since whole house repiping is considered a part of construction, do expect some things to be broken here and there, or shower faucet installations could be done more professionally. All of my concerns raised with Mike were addressed and rectified by the foreman, Emmanuel, promptly. I was reassured that CARE Plumbing stood behind their workmanship and truly listened to and cared for customer satisfaction. The Mike and Zara team had my back every step of the way, and I'm sure they will treat your house like theirs as well.

If you're ever considering a repiping project, hear me out and I'll explain why you should absolutely keep these guys at the top of your list. When I first called, I spoke with Zara. She immediately stood out far more knowledgeable than the typical "sales" reps I'd talked to. She clearly explained the services they offer and gave me a solid overview of what the whole house repiping process would look like. Zara referred me to Mike, who turned out to be an incredible estimator. This guy knows repiping inside and out. I'm a bit of a tinkerer myself--pretty handy with regular fixes--so I definitely wasn't the easiest customer to deal with. I did my research thoroughly, double-checked everything, and even discussed options with some experienced neighbors before committing to the full repiping job. What really impressed me about Mike was that he never tried to upsell me. He laid out all my options clearly and walked me through each one patiently. I wanted to make sure the job was done right, with the proper city permits, and Mike fully supported that approach. Their pricing was more than fair especially considering the quality and you could tell right away that Care Plumbing was serious and professional. No stupid haggling, no wasted time, just straight-to-the-point service. Since our old water heater was nearly 30 years old, Mike also pointed out that I should consider bringing it up to code or replacing it altogether. I decided to replace it myself before the city issued the main permit, thinking it would save some money. I pulled a permit for the water heater replacement and did the work myself (told you I'm a tinkerer). The city inspector passed the installation, although he did note I had used a galvanized pipe for the TPR (temperature-pressure relief) drain instead of copper. Still, the job passed inspection. Here's where Care Plumbing really impressed me: when I told Mike I had installed the water heater myself, he didn't give me a hard time. Instead, he asked for a photo and said they would upgrade the TPR line to the proper copper material as part of the repiping--even though it technically didn't need to be reinspected. That kind of professionalism and attention to detail goes above and beyond. Mike told me he'd send his best crew for the repiping--and oh boy, did he deliver. On repipe day, Zara sent me the full schedule and admin details in writing and followed up with a call to make sure I understood what to expect. If you appreciate organized, well run operations, Zara is exactly who you want in your corner. At exactly 8:00 AM, Manuel and his crew of seven arrived. These guys were like a synchronized A-Team--each had a specific assignment. Some were stationed at each bathroom, two were working in the attic, another was at the laundry room. Everyone was focused, professional, and respectful of the property. They covered and protected all the rooms, moved furniture carefully, and made only the minimal necessary wall openings. By 12:30 PM, water was turned back on and the repiping was done. And yes they also replaced the TPR drain line with copper, just as Mike promised. Talk about going the extra mile! Later that afternoon, Zara followed up again, walked me through the next steps, and scheduled the city inspection. The next day, the inspection passed with flying colors. I sent the signed job card back to Zara, and she promptly scheduled the next crew for wall patching. Isaias and his team arrived right on time the following morning. Just like the repipe crew, they were extremely detailed. They knew exactly which walls had been opened and patched everything up as if nothing had ever been touched. They even had to return for the second day day because the inspector wanted to see the lath paper before they closed the exterior stucco. Sure enough, they came back without hesitation and finished the job beautifully after inspection. So if you have an older house and have been dealing with sporadic leaks, definitely keep these guys in mind. Care Plumbing are true pros in their field, and they'll absolutely do right by you. Finding the right company for a job this size wasn't easy. Infinity Plumbing was referred to me by an acquaintance who had his 10-unit building in Santa Monica repiped by them a few years back -- nothing but good things to say. I interviewed three companies total. Infinity came in the middle on price, but they stood out on every other level -- professional, punctual, fully prepared, and their proposal was detailed and itemized. I was on a tight schedule and a little skeptical about their timeline, but they actually finished slightly ahead of it. The whole operation ran like a well-oiled machine. What also really impressed me was how clean they kept the job site -- every afternoon before leaving, the crew cleaned up after themselves completely. The workers were respectful and easy to work with throughout. The difference in water quality has been night and day. I thought it was just me but then my husband said the same thing.When i went to go look at the water heater i noticed it was blinking red! So naturally we reached out to other teams/ technicians and they gave us every excuse in the book to just "replace the water heater " which we all know is absurd in pricing. We were told that our water heater wasn't under warranty , Boy were they wrong! So after some digging and figuring out what was really wrong and what i needed Chris and his team came into play! I was straight forward about what i needed ( just pricing for a specific part, nothing more nothing less) and that exactly what Chris did, We had to wait a couple of days for the parts from the manufacturer , and scheduled everything . And pricing was honest for the labor they had to do. The manufacturer has sent two different parts , so we didn't know what was exactly the issue was we just know it was one or the other. Chris placed in the Gas control value and we were back in running. But after 4 hours we were back to blinking red. So calling him again he had a fellow technician out the next day to help us out. His team was amazing and had installed the 2nd part and we have hot running water ever since! Im extremely happy with the work ethic and professionalism.
