Worst plumber I have ever hired. Hired Mike to do a partial repipe on our house and couldn't regret it more. So many undelivered promises and headaches. His workers arrived 3 days later than we agreed. There was no official "contract" -- just his estimate "Trust me" he said. Ugh. The work was not done the way he described at all. A week later, I had a giant leak. I called him and he apologized and said he would send someone right over. Waited and waited. Finally he said they were stuck on another job and would come the next day. Finally showed up and they said the leak (which was on the pipe they just replaced a week earlier) was not their fault. Called Mike and got his voicemail. Finally got a hold of him and they said they would fix it. They worked on it. Left a mess and 3 days later it was leaking again. I live in an old house and have for years. Before us someone did their own plumbing. My water heater is 15 feet from the kitchen sink, took 3 minutes to get hot water. Water stinks, water is rusty and I didn't really know it, but our pressure stunk. I do live in a small house I did my due diligence and got 4 estimates. The only person that cared about actually getting my business was Mike. There was an ad in a Home Pro magazin and Mr Repipe has an and and that was the price. Half of what one team asked. One guy quoted less, but no patching. Mike's walkthrough was thorough and he told me what would be replaced, which was ever pipe and shutoff valve. Also I have a lot of cats and they worked around my requests. It's like everyone else said. 2 separate crews. First crew was 4 guys to do the piping. The second crew was for patching up the walls, with a crew of 2.. Only took 5 hours on day one to get the water up and running. The team worked so well together, a well oiled machine. Sort of fascinated to watch. The next day it took about 5 hours to fix the walls and they really did a magnificent job. ONe wall is the color of their patching material and when it dried it looks like nothing was done. One bathroom had textured walls and when they were done, you'd never know there was a big hole there. To do one shower they had to go outside to open the walls. I have Spanish lace. Fixed it perfectly. Whne we got hot water for the kitchen or the bathroom we used buckets and saved the water for the plants. Buckets are gone. 20 seconds for the water in the kitchen. About 30 for the shower. And sent my washing machine into shock because the water pressure was something it never felt in it's life. Slab leak on a Saturday, Got 3 quotes. 2 from plumbers I had prior business relationships with. $23,000 and $21,000 WITHOUT drywall/stucco. I passed. Mike was highly recommended by neighbors and came in at a cool $8900 with patching. Repipe by Tuesday. Patched almost like it never happened by Wednesday. That's the sort version. The long version includes that Mike was on time, super nice, efficient and so were his crews. The plumbers couldn't have been nicer and were done with a two story house in about 6 hours. When they left, aside from the holes you would never have known they were there. They cleaned up immaculately. Next day the patch crew rolled in. I hired Mr. Repipe to repipe a seven unit apartment complex for me. I got multiple estimates and price range they were all around the same price range. However, what set Mr. Repipe above the rest is that he does not make anything a big issue. Anything you ask of him to do or address he is more than willing to take care of. Mike the owner made it very apparent that I hired the right company to do the Job. Prior to starting the job Mike came out and walked thru all the units to show the tenants what they needed to move for the repipe. He also was great helping explain the process and letting them know that they would be inconvenienced but would not have to leave their apartment during the job. On the day of the repipe he showed up with a crew of about 15 guys to handle the opening of the walls, running all the new pex lines, installing new valves in the tubs and showers, new angle stops and supply lines, new shut offs on all the units, a new main building shut off with pressure regulator and much much more. The patching he sent a crew of three guys that did an amazing job of replacing drywall and stucco, patching, and texturing the wall back to original condition. You could not tell that the wall was opened. You ask how many days that they inconvenienced the tenants for? Well the repiping took one day. They were able to get the tenants off the old copper lines and on to the new pex lines all in the same day. The patching was done within a couple of days. Bought a house that was built in 1992, I've had a pin hole leak once a year and been very lucky catching all of them within days. My time has run out on this cheap M cooper that came with this house. After several quotes, we decided with Mr. Repipe. Mike came out to do the estimate and discussed what needs to be done. We finalize with PEX and used that savings to replace the cooper main line, knowing that will like leak soon like the rest of the house.
