Tyler never showed up for the set appointment. Very…read moreunprofessional. He never gave me a warning that he will be late or not show up at all. I wasted my time waiting and waiting.. absolutely ridiculous. Please see my photos for the texts for reference.

While driving the 91 freeway on a late Sunday night, some foreign object hit my lower windshield…read more The next day I saw a circular crack, about the size of a nickel on my windshield. I remembered that the insurance company may be able to help me, and so I called them. I was right. I have Ameriprise (from Costco) and they said since the damage was smaller than a dollar bill, they can repair it, at no charge to me, not even the deductible. The insurance company referred me to OC Rock n Glass, and even called them for me. Unfortunately, it was a Monday, and they were all out of the office, but I did hear back after lunch. They were completely full on Monday, but the guy said he'll come out Tuesday, and for me to text my location to him, and he'll "see me in the morning". Later that afternoon, my nickel size crack started "spider-webbing" so I called the guy back. He told me to put clear packing tape on the crack, to seal it from adding more air to the crack. On Tuesday at 10:00 am, I get a call from Tyler who said he was at my office. I showed him my windshield damage. He pulled the clear tape, and said it was no problem (and lucky that it didn't grow longer than a dollar bill). It took about 45 minutes for him to work on my windshield. He did a great job, and I can hardly see the crack. Tyler did say if you tilt your head at an angle, you will see the crack, but overall its filled, and safe to use. The work is guaranteed and best of all, my insurance covered it, and I didn't have to pay the deductible. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the just ok communication. Tyler never said what time he was coming, just that it was "in the morning". I believe he said he would call or text prior, but he just showed up at 10. Lucky I didn't have an appointment or meeting. When you call a repairman or cable guy they at least say "between noon and 6 pm." Also, when I asked him for a copy of the paperwork, he said I didn't need one. I took a picture of it for my records, and he said he'll email it to me. Some people may not keep paperwork, but considering the work had a lifetime guarantee, I'd like to keep some proof instead of relying on the insurance company or Tyler's word. Overall good work, nice guy, and I would recommend using them if your windshield is damaged.
