Close to 8 months ago, I began storing my priceless at least to me they are priceless possessions with Reputable Moving until my home we are renovating is finished. It should be done in just another month or so, and my time using Reputable Moving for my storage needs at least for now will end. Before it did, I wanted to make sure I take a moment and write this review expressing my heartfelt gratitude. oI was terrified having to put my furniture in a storage I had heard different stories of have damages occur and everything. Before I chose Eli and the Reputable guys, when he came for his visual estimate, I was honest I expressed my concern. To my amazement, Eli understood and he gave me his word that he would treat my furniture and possessions as well as he would treat his own families. He stated his team would do the same, and I needed to please place my trust in them. To let them do all the heavy lifting, stress and worry that I was doing, and relax about this part of my moving process. Let him and the guys handle it. After thinking about it, I had never had a mover say that to me before, I took him at his word. I choose Reputable Moving, and to say day of my move, I realized Eli was 1 million percent telling the truth about him and his team. The men were professional, they were so careful with everything and they stayed friendly and smiling the whole move. My whole 8 months that I have been in storage if I call the office or I call Eli and I tell them I do not need the whole move, but can you please look and get this chest of drawers and deliver it or I had to ask for just my washer and dryer to be delivered. The guys have been scheduled and the delivery is there within a day or two. They have been gems the whole office, Eli and the moving team this whole transaction for me, and I am so eternally in debt of thanks to them. Now as my time dealing with Reputable for now is coming to a close, I will be using them if I have any needs in the future, and trust me I recommend them to everyone I know. I recently just had to do the biggest decision of my life; I mean it was to me enormous uprooting my life here in New York ,distance move to Ohio. I had an opportunity that was too good, and it was a bullet I had to bite took me a lot of soul searching to finally decide to do it.  I asked for so many moving companies quotes, I had quotes coming out of my ears, and I forgot who was who. Movers, I know you feel me you have been there yourself. You want to make the best decision for you and the most economical and you want the best moving experience free of stress and worry. Now....don 't get me wrong if you know me, you will know I barely know how text let alone now going to go and do a Yelp review. I'm just not a technical type of person, but for the best move of my life to extol my gratitude to Reputable Moving, I can do a dalliance into the yelp world. No moving company was ever early for me day of the move, they wanted to go over the job and the details again with me. It made me feel at ease, and just a million times better about my decision to go with them. For me it is little things like coming early that speaks volumes of the integrity of the company and the workers. The Move itself went off perfect without a hiccup or a hitch. The guys use the utmost care protecting my walls and my floors. My building super is meticulous he stated 1st move out he has ever had where he did not have to complain about anything. It was a great surprise for both him and me. I was not gouged by extras I was not told about, and the price changing day of move, it stayed true to what I was quoted by Eli. Moving in New York should be summed up in one word usually a day you need a ton of bi-carbonate to settle your stomach, aspirin for your pounding headache and a bottle of wine that you can down when it is all over. At least for all my moves, that have been true, and one more thing you need cough drops to soothe your throat after you have been yelling at movers all day trying to protect your dwelling and your belongings.  I found out my lease was up, and I had to find local moving company to relocate my belongings from New York city to Queens. I saw the Reputable Moving truck doing a move for a neighbor across the street from me. I walked over and took a few minutes to speak to them asking for a business card. I watched the care and precision they were doing the neighbors move with, and had they were working together all as a team with everyone having a task, and they skillfully did their task. Also, how they were all jovial and friendly I was like I have not seen this with movers before in New York, what the heck they are smiling. When I was doing my recent move Hoboken to Manhattan, a friend in my building who used Eli and the guys gave me Reputable Moving number and told me these were my guys use them. I figured what could it hurt, and called. I had a quote sent to me in less than an hour which I was amazed at the effinency of how fast it was sent. The quote was within my budget, and I went with Reputable Moving honestly still not believing the hype of these reviews - I still thought this had to be smoke and mirrors man. Okay anyone who knows me will say it I am meticulous and I research everything before I pull a trigger, and make a decision on something. So trust me when I say that I did painstaking research annoying my wife and children researching our upcoming long distance move New Jersey to Colorado. I mean I did it all had the visual estimators from other moving companies, did excel sheets of comparison. You name it I did it, it was a huge move for me and my family, and I took this very seriously. We plan on only doing a cross country move like this once in our lifetime. I just had an epiphany Yelp World - a move that I was actually happy and satisfied with. My recent move it was...and it is very strange to use this word....it was a pleasure. Now, I know the stories of horrible moving companies we all have them, Lord knows I have them myself. I received the Reputable moving quote and yes it came in a little higher than some of the others, but when the estimator said let me just come give you a free visual estimate just to look at the job. I figured it would not hurt okay let Eli come and see it. From the moment of that first visual estimate all through my moving process, Eli was available no matter how small or large my question was. It may have sounded silly, but if I had the question he was right there for me. Day of the move, the guys arrived early like honestly who can say their movers were early - I now can say it, and it is a great feeling. If you ask me I was going to be lifetime New Yorker always living here forever I mean born and bred for life you know one of those New Yorkers. I had a local move from Manhattan New York to Brooklyn.  I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect moving company online, looking at their reviews. These guys were my saving grace from long distance moving companies  torment and hell.   Through personal reasons I had to uproot myself and move from New York  where I had lived all of my life to Miami FL.   Honest, in planning it the mere thought that I had to do this move and leave everything I knew and was safe to me made my whole body shake and cause me nervous rash.   I finally bit the bullet so to speak because it was getting time to start my new job and after going through reviews received and looking over reviews. I hired these guys after reading their reviews and I came into this process a cynic have to be honest no one looks forward to moving. I loved the apartment that I had lived in 4 years, only problem I knew it was going to be hell moving out now that the time had come. The apartment was a 3 flight walkup, and I was raked over the coals by a moving company when I moved in overcharging me, and damaging my furniture. To make my long story as short as possible, I had my movers set in place like months ago, I am a planner so I set everything up with another company other than Reputable. About 2 weeks before my move, I call to follow up on everything and ask for a quote again. The quote comes back to me about $300 more than I was originally quoted, I thought I was screwed because I had everything in place already. To me before this last move that I had - moving it was up there with having to listen to someone scratching their nails on a blackboard for hours. It was another version of torture, every move I have done since I have gotten out of college more horrible than the last. So to admit that I was not expecting a lot when I agreed with Reputable Moving to handle my most recent local move from Queens to Manhattan, it would be a safe bet. I was like yeah great reviews awesome - there has to be a catch something will go wrong it always does and it will cause me nightmares and my bank account to have repercussions for weeks to come. I had to admit I did like the Reputable moving team when I made the yelp request - they answered right away - they seemed friendly and polite I was like this is a plus. Then on the day of the move meeting The foreman and the team of guys of Moving company,I can say they still have me dumbstruck and it is 2 weeks later. The level of efficiency and professionalism that moving company did to make my move seem to finish faster than lightning, and without a scratch to anything or nothing lost and nothing damaged - they have my respect for a job well done. Now speaking of my pocketbook, I thought here it comes all of the "hidden" extras I am going to feel it. Lo and behold - not one of them - the price he quoted to me as an hourly rate - it stayed I was thrilled to no end.
