Never thought I'd be on Yelp reviewing a moving company, but here I am.....they were that good! Spoke to Dusko through email and set up a Zoom call to evaluate cost. Simple and straight to the point. For packing and moving to Virginia, the price was better than 3 other companies I received a quote for. Dusko was very responsive and answered any questions I had promptly. The day of, their team showed up 45 minutes earlier and finished hours before we predicted. I had a sleeping baby in the house during the move and they were very polite and conscious of his presence. The packers asked the right questions and everything was done SO QUICK. Like, it went by so fast. Next day they were in Virginia and even faced timed with us to make sure they were setting up the new apartment correctly. They charge by hours, so it's very straightforward, and no need to estimate number of boxes before I start packing. They are very fast, careful, and friendly. Glamour moving did an exceptional job from quote right through to delivery. I reached out to them through yelp and my estimate was scheduled within 45 minutes. The employee who did the estimate was prompt and very friendly. Quickly made his notes and that night I had a very reasonable quote in my email. I had some scheduling back and forth with my management company and they were very flexible, finalized with a call to make sure we were all on the same page. Was able to make my deposit when scheduling with a credit card through a payment app. The guys were right on time on the morning of my move. They were friendly and efficient. Packed every item perfectly, taking great care to treat each item as if it was their own. During the move I got a call from a supervisor to make sure everything was going ok. They worked a jenga miracle and got everything into one truck, except one item which one of the guys put on a dolly and rolled ten blocks. Unloading was great as well, they were very helpful in placing the items in each room as requested, very careful of new floors and walls. Cleaned up after themselves very well. This is my second review and second time using Glamour. Wow, every-time the blow me away with how professional, kind and how quickly these guys work! This move was from NYC to CT (see my previous review for local). They showed up on time, told me not to worry about anything, asked if I needed more boxes to finish packing up the little things I hadn't thrown in a box, took extra care in wrapping my belongings and best of all they were so pleasant to work with (even after dealing with my 5th floor walk-up)! I've had traumatic past experiences where movers literally lost boxes, threw in surprise charges for stairs, or an extra 20ft of moving and even held my stuff hostage, only for the company to disappear when filing an insurance claim! Theses guys are far far far away from that. You'll have complete peace of mind working with these saints of moving, if you will! I am just sad that I've moved out of the NY area. Found this company after searching reviews online. It was very easy to book a moving date and they were fast and efficient from start to finish. The movers are friendly and take great care in moving your furniture. Everything is wrapped and packed carefully before being placed on the truck. They disassemble and reassemble couches, bed frames, etc. with ease and I am so glad I chose them for my move, which can be an extremely stressful experience otherwise! Wow, what an awesome experience! Dusko was extremely communicative throughout the entire booking process and leading up to the move. I had a lot of hiccups getting ready for this move (the market is *hot* in NYC right now, evidently), and a friend of mine recently had movers who literally just didn't show up for his scheduled (paid-for) move! So needless to say, I was nervous! But the guys showed up right on time and made a very difficult move (my apt + my boyfriend's all moving into a 1BR) seem like no big deal -- all on a 95 degree day!! Basically this was the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. I randomly found them via yelp and after speaking to Dusko, went with my gut and booked them. Dusko really is the superstar here. He has excellent communication skills and showed a tremendous amount of professionalism and caring. Despite a long day he maintained an upbeat and can do attitude throughout. He was really someone you can't easily forget. My move was tough. A large apartment in Queens to a house in Ct. Started at 9am and ended midnight. Dusko and his crew were very detail oriented. I had only packed partially and they efficiently moved thru my belongings and packed every last item with care. He disassembled 3 beds, a large executive desk and put them back together on the other side. Lastly, there is no bullshit haggling. It was a fair price all around. From the start, Dusko was the most transparent and fairly-priced mover I could find for my move from Queens to Jersey, with the entire process broken down and quoted clearly. And when it came to the full-service move itself, Filip (our foreman) and his crew were friendly, expedient, careful, and thorough. They arrived on schedule at 9:30AM and had our entire 1-bedroom apartment - including our bedroom set, TV and entertainment system, AND several computers/desks - perfectly packed and on the road by 12:30PM. The unpacking process was even easier, and throughout it all, our movers were all communicative and helpful, even disposing of some unnecessary items for us as part of the service! Everything made the trip without harm, and our new apartment was ready to go by 5PM the very same day. I am currently in the middle of my move but had to take a moment to write a review because I have been so impressed with the service thus far. I booked my move about 1 month in advance and had no problem doing so. I worked with both Dusko and Alex who were both very professional and answered all of my questions. I was provided a copy of insurance for my landlord without hassle. I moved from a walk up apartment and the 3 movers who showed up (ON TIME!) to complete my job made it seem so easy! They handled all my items with care, including 2 bookcases which let's just say, have seen better days. On the other end, they carefully placed all my items where I wanted them so all I had to do was take care of the other stuff.
