I needed a locksmith because my only truck key was so worn it no longer reached the tumblers in my ignition lock cylinder. I called him today and arranged to have him come out and take a look tomorrow. To my surprise, he called and let me know he could come by today instead. That was awesome! He arrived, assesed the situation and got to work. He listened to what I had to say. I told him I thought maybe the key was just too worn and he agreed it could be that. I told him I had tried numerous times to have new keys made but nobody could get it right. He was able to cut a new key by "reading" the old cuts. After a couple of tries he was able to get it right! I told him I just needed to wait for my neighbor to get home so we could charge the battery. It was a new one but it was dead. He kindly pulled his van around and jump started my truck. That was so great! Unfortunately, it just wasnt enough. We messed with it for quite awhie which was above and beyond. He figured out what the problem was and fixed that too! He charged me way less than anyone would have and helped me get my truck off the road and into my driveway. What a kind man. My son lost his car key and he called several places and Bill was the lowest quote but couldn't come by until 6pm. Now I know why he was so busy. My son has a 96 Integra and he told Bill he needed 2 keys 1 for ignition and 1 for the doors. He quoted $110. He told me that he could fix it to where I would only need 1 key for the ignition and locks. He went the extra mile fixing the ignition lock and even replacing the housing that holds the lock. The bolts were stripped from the previous owner of the car and he replaced it. He also gave me an extra key for me just in case my son loses both the spares he made.
