When the pharmacy could only get a 2 day portion of the antibiotic, the pharmacist promised to go and pick up the rest of the order on the weekend from another supplier, AND deliver it to her house on his day off so that she wouldn't miss a dose of her medicine. That is amazing dedication, and not something you would get from one of the bigger chain pharmacies. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that he would go out of his way to help my mother. They will have our business from now on!

We got a pump for 3 months for $180 vs. $90/month at El Camino Hospital. The rental process was pretty straight forward. They also sell pump parts and accessories at competitive prices. Since it's an online-only business, there is no place where you can go pick up the pump. I saw the other review that mentioned they would accommodate the request but it just seemed easier to follow their standard M.O. It was kinda funny to see the pump shipped out of Sunnyvale, go all the way to South San Francisco and come back to San Jose, when we live about 4 miles away from their given address.

Remedy Rx Compounding Pharmacy (formerly Safeway Compounding Pharmacy)…read more My son has a surgery Monday and his doctor prescribed tetracaine lillipops. I missed the part where I was supposed to order them from the pharmacy 2 weeks before his surgery. There was nothing Kaiser Pharmacy could do since these are outsourced to 3rd party compounding pharmacies. So I called around to local compounding pharmacies to see if I could have my son's doctor send the prescription to them. Insert Remedy Rx Compounding Pharmacy and specifically Shandani. She listened to my dilemma and together we started coming up with solutions! There's a bit involved in making the tetracaine lollipops so it wasn't looking promising to get those in a 1 business day turn around (understandable). But Shandani went over all the details anyways on how it would work and recommended a tetracaine oral rinse. (She also offered all of the other "caines" as alternatives.) She gave me the directions to call my son's doctor and agree on something so that we could send the prescription to Remedy Rx. After speaking with the pharmacy who spoke to my son's doctor... they were able to prescribe an alternative that Kaiser had. (Yes I asked that in the beginning before bothering Remedy Rx and Shandani.) It wasn't until I told my son's pharmacy rep about Shandani's other recommended solutions did they agree. Anyways... Shandani from Remedy Rx was awesome and extremely helpful. I hope to be able to give them business in the future or from this review. Much deserved.

Sadly, it is no longer there, but the good news is that they have joined another pharmacy which is nearby and which was also on my list of pharmacies to check out, Camden Pharmacy at 3189 S. Bascom (intersection of Bascom and Camden). I was sorry to learn that they no longer give vaccines, but I will probably use them for my prescriptions in the future.
