The guys who run the store are really easy going and friendly. I stocked up on some camping essentials, including a portable lantern.. Eyeing a near air mattress for the future as they carry a few queens and even managed to find a nice deal on a shirt to support the troops. I usually pop in here once in a while when I'm in the area being a native tourist or when my special friend Art is in town who is obsessed with this shop and a few others on Hollywood Blvd, including the custom print t-shirt store next door. You can find street parking on the side streets and endure a very brief stroll depending on the time of day or day of the week as the area does get heavy with foot traffic. Most sales are final to my knowledge, but you wont be disappointed with your haul. They have some cool accessories at the register including swiss army knives/devices/tools, clips and so forth... Fair prices on boots, luggage and other good finds at the Supply Sergeant. There's lots of replicas and memorabilia decorated above on the ceiling hanging over and along the walls. The inside could use a little TLC, but has a dated charm to it, plus majority of the store is organized and well kept. Salute your way in and fall out with solid purchases.

I hadn't heard of the shop before visiting, and we went because there was a sale. They apparently had some water damage in January and just had opened back up... and wanted to release some of the damaged and unfinished clothes for discounted prices. First I need to mention that the management and owner were standing outside and greeting everyone, chatting with them. I heard the full story of how this place came about, and the struggles they went through during covid and the rain. Just a great group of people running the shop and you really root for them to succeed. I bought two t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a hat. It has become my favorite pieces of clothing. The shirts are comfortable but thick material, and don't hug you in an unflattering way. They fit so well. I will definitely come back once they have a new round of inventory to check out their stuff.

I didn't have time to order another one, so I went all over--to Men's Wearhouse, Friar Tux, and Macy's--but couldn't find the right tuxedo the same day at a reasonable price. Before giving up, I called Hollywood Suits to ask if they had tuxedos available. I was lucky that Oscar answered my call. He went out of his way to text me photos of what they had in stock. I went over about four hours before my event, and they had several great options. Oscar helped me find the right size, and they even offer alterations right in the back for an additional fee. I found a tuxedo in about 15 minutes, and they altered the pants in 30 minutes. They truly saved the day.

I had just left Victoria's Secret, where I obviously spent much more than the little item I was going to buy from Marshalls. Anyway, the employee named Antonio made me so uncomfortable by falsely accusing me of trying to steal, and humiliated me. He even said "we have cameras" and I was like well that's great, check them, because you'll see I didn't steal anything or "switch tags." I asked to speak with a Manager and informed her what happened. She apologized about it. It was a terrible experience and made me not want to go to that store again.
