A Very Well Managaed Marriot Property I was in the Corpus Christi area for Business and was referred to this hotel by business associates from the area. They were right as this hotel was in a prime location near the waterfront and close to many very popular restaurants. The hotel is very well designed and very well kept. From the moment I checked in the moment I checked out, it was a great experience. My room was fantastic as I stayed in a one-bedroom, two-bed suite with a great view from the room. My room had everything I needed and was immaculate. I had room to store my luggage, roll out my yoga mat and still had room for more. The hotel's wifi was easy to connect to and I had no issues. The room has multiple USB and power outlets for all of your devices. The bathroom was spotless and came with enough towels to last me a few days. I used the hotel's gym, the lobby, and the lounge outside by the pool. I also was able to enjoy a few drinks at the very classy hotel bar. This is a great hotel to stay in and I most likely will stay here again.

My husband and I stayed a few nights earlier this month and had a stunning view of the bay in room 505. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and spotless. Breakfast every morning had tons of options. Being horribly gluten intolerant, they had several food items for me a eggs, bacon, potatoes, and Udi's muffins one of the days. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is housekeeping. It's literally the only negative experience we had. I asked for housekeeping to do a sweep, and we our stay went on, the service got worse. One of the days, we asked for fresh towels and for them to do a sweep. They literally left the pile on the bathroom floor and placed the towels on the TV stand. I get Covid protocols, but every other hotel (and other Marriott properties) I've stayed at have provided better housekeeping. Besides that, the hotel is across the street from the bay, and there are local beaches if you don't want to drive to Padre Island. It's also close to lots of nightlife and local places with amazing seafood. Despite our issues with housekeeping, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I went to Corpus Christi last weekend And suggested Residence Inn because it was new and located in Downtown. We were going to a fundraiser event at the Lexington and wanted to be able to commute via Uber easily. This hotel was in the perfect location and everything was great. The rooms were clean, spacious, and ready when we arrived. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. I was shocked to see the stove and dishes provided in the room, too bad I didn't utilize these amenities. I loved the size of the shower and overall had a great experience. We walked past the pool which looked beautiful and we did wake up Sunday and use the gym on site. They had treadmills, free weights, medicine balls and cleaning supplies. Towels were plentiful and it was a good gym for your basic workouts. When returning to Corpus, I will definitely stay here again. They also provided a complementary breakfast however I didn't take advantage of it because I had brunch plans.

The location on Corpus Christi Bay is beautiful, the views are spectacular, and every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay overall. Unfortunately, our suite did not reflect the level of quality I expected for the price we paid over the Fourth of July weekend. The room was clean, but it showed extensive signs of age and deferred maintenance. Throughout the suite we noticed chipped and scratched furniture, worn upholstery, torn lamp shades, cracked bathroom tile, frayed carpet, deteriorating caulk and trim, stained surfaces, mineral buildup on bathroom fixtures, and several areas that appeared to have been overlooked during routine maintenance and detailed cleaning. While none of these issues alone would have been a major concern, together they made the suite feel tired rather than luxurious. What disappointed me most was not one specific problem, but the overall impression. When you're paying premium rates, you expect a room that feels well cared for and meticulously maintained. Instead, it felt like many small issues had accumulated over time without being addressed. I sincerely hope management invests in updating and refreshing the guest rooms because this property has incredible potential. The waterfront location, views, and staff deserve accommodations that match the quality of the rest of the experience. I would absolutely consider staying here again because we enjoyed Corpus Christi and the people working at the hotel. My hope is simply that the guest rooms receive the attention they deserve.

Customer service was friendly and professional. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient during check-in and check-out. Anytime we had a question, they were quick to respond and eager to help. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants and attractions, which made getting around easy. Parking was simple and accessible. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the walls were a bit thin, and we could occasionally hear hallway noise. However, it wasn't enough to take away from our overall positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service. Shout out to Rachel, Ariana and Adam for making our stay extra special for our engagement!!!!!! Will come back soon for sure!!!!!

Finding the property was a tad confusing as it does connect with the mall parking and sorta sits off to the side. Upon arrival did the digital check in so was able to go straight to the room. The digital key was convenient until I went to the pool and was unable to access along with the side door. The front desk issued a physical key and while I got an updated digital one, was still unable to access other areas with my phone. Pool was simple and has a few areas where the tiles are missing, my room overlooked the pool and after 7pm is when it got super busy! Enjoyed that the pool is on the north side of the building so didn't get sun in the afternoon. The room was as expected, large, plenty of counter space and clean. Every night I heard kids running upstairs and could hear other noises through the walls. Also, you can hear the toilet flush in the middle of the night from another room. Not sure which one. Breakfast was ok, wasn't a fan of the set up for the hot items as the case they are in was odd. Food was ok, nothing spectacular but it works. Coffee was my favorite although the cups kept leaking so I had to double up. Overall the location is great and I'd return for that. Loved the music playing in the elevator landing and the scent for the floor was delightful!

The woman that checked us in was so rude and acted like it was such an inconvenience to give us 2 keys. Then, OMG, we get to the room and it's the wrong room type. So we change rooms and again had to ask for 2 keys for 2 people. We get to the 2nd room and 1 key did not work, so we had to go back and that about killed her to have to give us another one. Every time we walked through the lobby the person working the front was sitting in the lounge on their phone. One guy was in the lobby on his phone arguing with his wife. The 1bartender we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Another bartender sat in a golf cart playing on her phone outside. There was a political event that was going on one evening in the lobby and we couldn't even get through the people to get to our room and we did not see anyone from the hotel trying to keep a walkway clear for guests. There is no ice machine on the 1st floor so you have to go upstairs or the bartender will give you some if someone is there. You can only enter through the front door. There are other doors you can exit, but you cannot use your key to enter. Parking sucks, especially because you cannot get into any of the other doors. The room never did get very cold and this is July so it's hot. There is a bench on top of the AC, so the air does not shoot up, it is blocked. They painted all the walls white since the last time I was here and the rooms are very baron and depressing. The bedding on the bed is too heavy, especially when the AC does not cool the room. The refrigerator is too small with no freezer section. The shower has no pressure. When someone above us flushed the toilet it sounded like the ceiling would cave in. Overall everything is old and dingy. It's time for an update We won't be back.
