We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we walked in, the lobby was clean, inviting, and beautifully maintained. The décor felt modern yet comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a long day. The room itself was spotless and well-organized. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens felt fresh and high quality. I especially appreciated the attention to detail -- from the neatly stocked amenities to the cleanliness of the bathroom. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. Customer service was friendly and professional. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient during check-in and check-out. Anytime we had a question, they were quick to respond and eager to help. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants and attractions, which made getting around easy. Parking was simple and accessible. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the walls were a bit thin, and we could occasionally hear hallway noise. However, it wasn't enough to take away from our overall positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service. Like most reviews have stated.... Yes, this hotel is located in a super sketchy part of town. Leave your Bentleys and Rolls Royces behind! Yes, the staff are very sweet and try to be accommodating. Yes, they aren't stingy with the cookies. You ask for one, you get one! They leave like 10 in your room after turn down service! They're soft too! The best part of my stay was the breakfast buffet. Very hot and fresh. They were even kind enough to let me take a plate to go for my kiddo! Turn down service is not upon request but I had to ask several times for it during my 3 night stay. When they did come, it looks like they just made the beds only. I love to be a bum and spend afternoons and evenings watching tv, From my room, but yeah, the tv never worked. Only one elevator worked, out of order ice machine with water everywhere, hallways, pool was gross, rooms smelled like mold and parking was horrible. The restaurant took an hour and a half for an appetizer. The 4th floor reeked of sweat and cigarettes. Maintenance was pretty rude and down played us being trapped in the elevator for half an hour. Housekeeping was lovely. The front desk clerks were kind. The beach access was okay. For the price? Not even remotely worth it. Should have just gone back to Omni. I'm genuinely surprised Hilton wants to be associated with this location. We are platinum members and will not be returning. read more

I enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly. At the counter, in the restaurant, the cleaners, every worker I interacted with was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restroom and shower stall were also clean. I love how it's right by the beach. I stayed here to visit the USS Lexington and the aquarium which are a short walk away. I also took a walk on the pathway parallel the beach. I used LFYT but I did see a sign at the parking lot that stated parking is via phone. I hope to visit Corpus Christi again. The Hotel and Bar are located directly on the beach and from the Hotel it is a beautiful sight. As you enter the restaurant, on the left side are large windows along the side wall. Tables and chairs are lined with the wall so that with any table you have the beautiful sight of the beach and off to the right you see the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier well within walking distance of the Hotel and Aquarium. You seat yourself as you wish and of course sat next to a window with the beautiful view. You see pretty close families sitting on the beach and playing in the water. The waiter arrived and I ordered Cobb salad with shrimp and for dessert I had the cutest carrot cake (please see in the added pictures). The restaurant was absolutely clean and up to date. The waiter staff were nicely professionally dressed. Jackie balancing three plates with a beautiful smile stopped for a moment for a picture and Joe stopped for a picture moment (good looking guy that he is) as he continued to wait on customers. The food was really good and all the customers were having a wonderful time. A very fun and beautiful place to be. You can sit and enjoy. The parking is directly in front of the hotel. Parking does require you to use your phone to establish parking. It is real easy to do. The area around the hotel is not so nice. I never saw any people at all. Before leaving the hotel check with the front desk for directions as there construction as well there and is easy to be lost. I left after sun set and was lost but returned to the hotel and was given very easy directions. I had a wonderful time and if you have the chance it is a fantastic opportunity to see the view, swim, get some sun as the gentle waves roll onto the beach, enjoy the restaurant and see everyone enjoying the beach and top it off with some dessert and of course there are the liquid libations. If you make the trip you will never forget the vacation and in your mind review it over and over. Enjoy. read more

The hotel was really nice. I forked over $248 for the water side but one could get the non water side for about $140. It was worth the expense to hear the waves crashing out your window. Room was clean except for sand spurs that their vaccum cleaner probably couldn't pick up and remained unnoticed. No big deal for me. Front desk was great. They give out a fresh warm large chocolate chip cookie as you arrive. It sucked paying $25 for 2 days parking. My only issue was no continental breakfast. They do have a restaurant (Eighteen 18 is the name of it) in house.... breakfast buffet was very good but the service was not good on both my morning visits. I will go back again. Might think twice about the restaurant though. read more

I'll give them solid 4 stars. Like others said the construction is quite bad but the hotel overall was good experience. Hotel bed: the bed I actually really comfy. That is huge for me. I like owners who actually buy comfy beds and don't cheap out and get bad uncomfortable beds. So if you are picky about beds and want good nights rest you will enjoy the bed. Also the AC is ice cold. If you like ice cold AC like me you will not be disappointed! The ac blows cold and the beds are very comfy. You are also very close to the water. Which is great. You are close to pretty of restaurants as well. The construction is quite annoying though I will admit. It will be worth it once Hilton finishes the updates. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again. Also I booked using hot wire so I was able to get the room at a decent rate. I wouldn't pay full price for this place. If you like to pay for parking and not enjoy going into the ocean this place is for you. Honestly this place would have potential however the beach is full of jellyfish making it unsafe and the parking fees are ridiculous. The front desk is super nice and kind but unfortunately we won't be staying here again. The rooms were just mid, checking out was an absolute mess. They couldn't find my room in which I was staying in for 2 days nor could they find my check-in information when I asked for a receipt which is very odd. read more

We had a lot of different issues staying here one the most important one was the door to her room didn't when you shut it half the time it didn't lock which is a basic safety concern. The whole hotel was freezing cold and it just was not a very good day and I won't stay here again and we booked two rooms basically waste of winning sorry. Also they so snacks for way overpriced I paid $3 for a candy bar and $3 is no change for an ice cream I wouldn't recommend this. 2 2! It was late and everything was closed around us , so we decided to stop by and grab a bite to eat since it was right on the beach front . Place stays open late . The food was meh and very bland . I called the front desk 4 or 5 times, they sent maintenance up but I was always told it was cooling. Maintenance one time brought up a portable fan because he knew it wasn't working right. The shower would randomly shut off while in use. No offer from front desk to speak to a manager or to provide customer satisfaction. For the price of the room a night ($250+), this is unacceptable. The $10 a day parking is a little high especially when I had to park on the street because there was no parking available. Front desk didn't care about that either. read more

This was our first time vising Corpus Christi and it was a wonderful experience! This place was right on the beach within walking distance to the USS Lexington and the Aquarium. Plenty of food options in the area as well as souvenir shops. The front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating when we decided to stay another night but switched to an ocean view room. They had the new room cleaned and ready in no time! The morning breakfast was decent, and the manager was out making sure we were enjoying the food and was there to help if we needed anything else. Long review... TLDR My family members and I stayed here over memorial day weekend. The hotel itself was nice. Rooms were nice and comfy and being bayfront was also convenient. Our other family members enjoyed themselves, including two little kids, and cookies were also delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that the water pressure seemed to get less and less the longer you shower. Same with the sink. I was brushing my teeth and noticed the water pressure getting less and less. Don't know what that issue was about but my SIL mentioned that if you turn off the water and turn it back on, it'll get back to normal. When it comes to their in-house restaurant, I'm not exactly sure what went wrong but they seemed to struggle with that part. For one thing, my BIL wanted to go down by himself first to have some coffee, was seated by the window overlooking the bay but was seemingly ignored as no one came around to get his order so he left and went back up to his room. About maybe an hour or so later, we all decided to go down as a family to get some breakfast, was seated by the bar area but was again ignored until a waitress came by to attempt to give us some menus. Qr codes were posted on the table so we were able to scan them and didn't need menus which is what we told our waitress but instead of asking if we were ready to order, she walked off. We felt ignored because our waitress never came back around to take our order. They were busy and short staffed though so I thought "ok, maybe she's just a little overwhelmed right now and have other tables to take care of. She'll come to us when she's free" but she never did. Instead, she went around to other tables including the tables behind the bar to ask for their order or to see if they needed refills but never stopped by our table again. She even had time to stop by the bar to ring up a customer or to serve drinks but again, she never bothered to stop by our table again. When she stopped by the table next to us, we thought "ok, we're next" but nope. She walked off again. She never even made eye contact with us. She walked everywhere but never bothered to stop at our table again after attempting to drop off menus for us. At this point, my niece and nephew, who are 6 and 4 (so, little kids), were starving and you know how little kids can be when they're hungry. We waited patiently for about an hour before we finally flagged someone (another waitress/server) down to take our order. She came over, apologized for the wait and told us that their head chef was rushed to the hospital late last night so they're a little behind. We were understanding but it still should not have to take that long to place our freaking orders. If the head chef is out, shouldn't they still have the sous chef and another backup chef to handle the cooking? After placing our order, we got our drinks but it was another hour wait for the food to come out but by that point, I had already gone up back to my room (to get my charging bank because my phone was running low and because I was tired of waiting because I had started doubting that our food was being made) so my husband packed up my food for me. My family members described their food as cold and sad looking so don't think I was missing out on anything. My husband & BIL said mine was the only thing that looked decent. After this experience, maybe we'll go elsewhere for food next time if we decide to stay at this location again so we don't have to wait 2 hours for food. It also shouldn't have to take an hour to flag someone down. We were also told that they were suppose to set up for breakfast buffet but no one did and they needed to do training for the summer and this was just a taste of what it'll be like. I'm not sure what to say about that part but I was disappointed with this dining experience. Before the bad dining experience, we planned to head to an actual beach for a bit then go back to the hotel, get cleaned up and check out but because the food took so long to come out, that time was taken away from us so we had to check out first then head to the beach. All in all, Idk if it was the holiday rush that made them struggle but none of us had a pleasant dining experience. When my BIL went back up to his room at some point during our 2 hour wait to use the restroom, he overheard a family in the elevator saying they waited 1.5 hours for their food and that they had left hungry because they were fed up with the experience as well. I also thought of doing that but didn't want to be rude. If someone had done that to me, I wouldn't like it. read more

The good: beach view The bad: Under construction so no restaurant (hence no breakfast even though their website says it is included) Toilet handle has to be held down for two minutes to get it to flush Room has been partially remodeled, but POORLY done (lights not working, dead outlets, and even some outlets not attached internally so if you unplug the entire outlet comes out of the wall!) TV remote is a generic replacement that doesn't do much other than on off and volume, good luck finding anything to watch! Construction debris in the bathroom near the shower, which means little attention to detail from housekeeping. Staff was very apologetic, but there was ZERO mention of any of this when making our reservation. My past experience with Raddison properties were fine. But based on this experience, will be staying elsewhere next visit and will never stay at a Raddison property again. Properties we have had wonderful experiences with this trip include: Staybridge (multiple locations) Drury Inn and Suites (multiple locations) Fairfield Inn and Suites (Ft. I loved the hotel. Got a room overlooking the water and really enjoyed my view of the beach and bay. Saw kites flying, someone windsurfing, ships going by. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Loved the pictures of local scenes hanging in rooms. Upgraded my internet for small fee and was very pleased - had some on-line meetings. Ate a nice lunch at the restaurant. Staff was very helpful - let me check in early and stay a bit late. Parking is a bit of a problem. Hotel lot is also used by the public so it gets crowded. But it is really a minor issue. Hotel is on the North Beach, so it is close to the Lexington and Aquarium but the majority of restaurants are on the other side of the bay. read more

As I lay here at 5 am I cannot sleep due to the road noise. It is horrible. Here on business. 1st day I went down to the bar/restaurant to have dinner. Many people were being over-served to the point they were fighting (super uncomfortable) and they had brought their dog (big dog) in the bar who was roaming all over the place. No it was not a service animal. My co-workers room door was found open after coming back from training and someone had left a bag of hot Cheetos in her bathroom. Front office staff was told and they said "we will make a note" Balcony door does not lock!!! Super unsafe. Area around the hotel appeared to be super shady. Overall feel.... Super cheap hotel and unsafe. The one positive... Staff was super nice. I do not recommend. read more

What really makes this hotel special is the people who work and run this hotel. All of them are the nicest people I've ever met. Very disappointed in Hilton re this property. We reserved a king sized bed, full bay view for one night. We arrived early, ate lunch in the restaurant, and walked around the aquarium until our room was finally ready. The room they gave us had 2 queen sized beds and a side glimpse of the bay since the main view was of the business beside the hotel. Also, the sliding glass door did not lock! When we went to the front desk we were told "king beds go fast!" We reminded them we had a reservation for a king sized bed and full bay view which seemed to go on deaf ears! Finally, they said we could have a room with two queen beds and full bay view. And, they said we won't charge you any extra!!!!! What? We reminded them that the king sized beds cost more than the queens and again it was received with deaf ears! The room was clean and the view was great in the 2nd room. And, the sliding door locked. First I want to say that the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the front desk people as well as the maintenance man were very kind and accommodating. Particularly the maintenance man (whose name I wish I had gotten). He did his best to help us out and explain what was going on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact I'd say steer clear. The 5th floor hallway smelled like pee. Our room was 75° when we asked in. I tried to change the ac however the display said "LC" which I'm guessing means "locked" there is a thermostat in the room as well but it didn't change anything. Our room was dirty. There was aome kind of cake or pastry bits left on the coffee maker, the floor in the kitchenette and bathroom were both dirty. The fridge was dirty on the outside. The microwave was dirty on the inside. I actually brought a fee cleaning supplies and tried to clean up the shower floor as well as the bathroom floor. I could.bot get the shower floor cleaned. One bed smelled like pee which grossed me out.also the balcony door had no lock. And it was windy so the wind kept blowing the door open. (Which is perfect since we had a 2 year old toddler with us) Talked to the front desk and they gladly moved us to a new room. Second room was mostly fine, it was cleaner and the beds smelled fine. However it was 75° in the room and no way of changing it to make it cooler. The sun went down so its down to 73° but all of us (2 adults, 3 children) are sweating in our sleep. The maintenance man did bring us a fan which was great of him. However it is mostly circulating hot air. We were booked for 3 days, 2 nights. But we are canceling and just going home. Our first day here was ruined by all the negatives of this hotel. Trying to get things figured out and not being able to cool off. It's our first vacations in 5 years and its being cut short bc put hotel has been terrible. Also neither of the rooms that we were given had any sort of ventilation fan in the bathroom. You want to talk abour humid? Turn on the shower for a minute and then open the door to a room that is just has uncomfortable and hot. Just awful here. I would not recommend to anyone. Full disclosure we were told the rooms are updating their ac units as Atwell as getting new balcony doors, however that doesn't help us a bit. The room is not clean(at least the one we first had) and it is not cool. Two rooms and still nothing below 75°??? It was over 100° outside today and the room only gave us comfort our of the sun. I'm very disappointed and just want to go home. Stay away or make sure you check the rooms thoroughly before you start unpacking. Adding photos that we talk once in the first room. Nearly forgot to add, but as I'm in the hotel right now, while the second bathroom is cleaner. It smells like sewage and grossed us out. We were so tired and disappointed by the end if the night we went to bed. Before we fell asleep my husband and I decided to cancel the rest of our stay. And you have to pay for parking. Lastly whatever they are paying the maintenance man, they should pay him more. He really was kind and tried to be as helpful as possible. And I know he was running around trying to attend to everyone who had any room related issues. *If all my photos are approved you will also see the gigantic dead roach that my kids found right next to the bed. read more

We have been disappointed in most restaurants with ocean views--Landry's was awful--but this was the best food we've had with a view in Corpus! Give them a try!! You won't be disappointed. read more
