West Edge is located along the intersection of Olympic and Bundy. While it's more known as a luxury apartment complex, I haven't viewed any of its suites. However, I have visited the commercial side of it which includes Gelson's Supermarket and Hammer & Nails salon for men. The first time I visited, I immediately fell in love with the plaza and courtyard which divides the residential and commercial areas. It looks very serene and peaceful leaving me wanting to just stay here enjoying the murals and the overall atmosphere. Adding to the convenience is the multilevel private parking. read more

Been loving our experience here. Corena has been a dream to work with, she is on top of everything. The apartments are quiet and clean. Bryan did a tremendous job installing our shower head and fixing our patio. We also had a broken washer and rob got us taken care of the day prior. The maintenance here have been top tier. read more

I would love to give this place a glowing recommendation/review but my terrible experience with security gives it 1 star. There's a lot of great amenities that your money will get you but a decent security detail isn't one of them. The curly haired guy at the front desk will answer your call but will he do anything about it? No. It's past midnight and a raging party next door to me is still going and keeping me up because he said he can't (wont) do anything about it because he "put his ear up to the door and didn't hear anything" ... how?! I can hear the screams and yelling and music through my wall. He even admitted he wasn't going to do anything about it since he wasn't hearing what I was hearing. It's extremely disappointing at how much money we spend a month to deal with this. It makes me scared to think about what would happen if I actually needed them for something like an emergency. I'd keep that in mind when looking at apartments. Do better West Edge. read more

I'm very hopeful to send a more positive review as time goes on and my issue is resolved. As a tenant for almost 2.5 years I was LOVING it here until about a month ago. At that time the tenant in the unit above began "stomping" or doing something that resulted in quite loud stomping sounds in my unit. This building is only about 3 years old and the walls are thick and solid. To create noise that another unit can hear is not easy...but whatever the tenant above is doing results in a LOUD stomp below. The office staff here is first rate but this is my only major issue to date. I brought his to their attention a total of 3 times with tonight being the 3rd. We will see how it plays out. This is a very difficult time...my recliner and office chair are directly blow the stomping and it has effected everything. If or when this situation improves I will gladly send a follow up review and I truly look forward to doing that. Funny how things can change so fast with just one inconsiderate neighbor. "Inconsiderate" is not really the word I want to use. read more

To Whom it may Concern at West Edge LA, I was not provided with the following materials that the awful GM said she would provide. - Reasonable accommodation form - Contact information for legal team - Follow up with the leasing agent regarding the verbal conditions of my signing. - Evidence of an actual incident, not a fabrication by you and your lying assistant. - Further, I would like to submit a complaint to the management group to whom GM reports into, please provide contact information. What's more, it actually was the GM, that gave me approval for the conditions I hinged my signing of the lease, I did not remember but it was her that I spoke with regarding the matter and she is feigning ignorance. Please, confirm with the leasing agent that you did indeed confirm the conditions I requested upon my lease. I feel that I am being specifically discriminated against by the GM and her staff, as I stated in my very first complaint to them, that they did not even bother to read. They did not do their due diligence of checking their own videos and hence made false accusations against me with false evidence, when I SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT! Shame on you West Edge LA GM. Further, your "Apology" was absolutely not an apology, you literally just stated that I am at fault for your laziness and misunderstanding, your apology is not accepted. Further, someone nearly hit me in the valet area with their car because they were speeding and there are no signs to slow down, nor mirrors for Pedestrians walking out. This is a deathtrap and an accident waiting to happen. This is a high human and vehicle traffic zone that was absolutely not properly prepared for the amount of traffic it gets. read more

Everything about living here is amazing. The one minor inconvenience is the WiFi/cellular connection. First there is no personal WiFi, meaning I cannot have my own personal WiFi plan. Meaning you have to use the WiFi they provide. Second cellular service does not work. It works outside maybe a single bar. But as soon as you are inside it is off and shows SOS or no service at all times. Not sure if it is only an issue I have encountered. Other than that West Edge has been an amazing place read more

Stay away from this place! I have been in the Real Estate Industry for almost 30 years and have never seen anything like this! I moved in to the complex in June. From day one there was barely any internet or Cell phone signal. I found out from other neighbors and other people that the management and leasing teams knew about this and never disclosed this to potential tenants. I run a Real Estate brokerage and need to be able to make and accept cell phone calls. I had to rent hotels and air b n bs to just make cell phone calls. Then in July a guy moves in above me. Constant noise, music blasting, dropping things from 5 am until 2 am the next day. I sent emails constantly to management. Finally they approve my request to move units in November but ask me to pay for move, reapply for the unit and place all these comditions on my move when THEY caused this! I am consulting a Real Estate attorney. I also had a procedure on two discs and cannot lift. I sent two lovely messages to concierge asking if they could help me and got zero reply. So now, I am being punished for speaking the truth. Absolutely zero humanity. I will also be contacting other appropriate housing divisions as I know them being in the business. All this nightmare has cost me thousands, $5400 a month and my physical and mental wellbeing. Please stay clear. read more
