We were told that there are plenty of videos on YouTube, and then the installer left. He would have earned a larger tip if he dedicated more time to providing excellent customer service. $1400 on a pool pump with no provided instructions, yikes! Customers remember to check for manufacturer warranties and register your products immediately if purchasing equipment from them. We were not informed about warranties during purchase/ installation. I located the manufacturer warranty requirements during my online research.

Final pre-resolution update…read more I find it bizarre that an individual who was adamant that I not let Leslie's know that they had mistakenly given me a $200 part for free (I questioned the warranty transfer and while Leslie's said I was due the part Aaron explained at length why I wasn't but told me "don't sweat it, Leslie's is a big company,") alleges and infers I was out to take advantage of a small company. I have zero desire to take advantage of anyone, and I also have zero desire to let anyone take advantage of me. I do know that it is not uncommon for those guilty of something but not wanting to admit it to deflect and distract. And if one reads what I wrote vs. what Aaron did, along with some appalling grammar and spelling (including my name) there are a lot of personal attacks and unfounded accusations. All I will say at this juncture is that I repeatedly tried to resolve this amicably and reasonably, I was not ecstatic about the work, I hoped despite some hiccups that it was solid, a LOT of my own time has been wasted on this (which certainly feels like I was and am being taken advantage of, because I'm not ok with the current state of what's in my yard as a result of this "company," and I am 100% not ok with them sending someone I've never met to do work they don't guarantee, explain or support,) and at this point I wish I'd dealt with a bigger company in the first place. Note-I wouldn't have been at Leslie's in the first place hunting down the part if the tech from Cool Pool's had had the part he promised. And after a third trip to Leslie's by yours truly (and another conversation with them about the warrantied part bc I wanted to be sure the employee who supposedly mistakenly comped me the part didn't get in hot water bc it retails for $200) I really was at my wits end literally working for the pool company who was supposedly doing a job for me. It benefits no one to let those who don't honor agreements and cut corners get a free pass to charge (and take!) whatever they want while refusing to guarantee their work or even communicate respectfully with the customer.

After another pool company incorrectly refinished my pool by cementing in my In-floor cleaning…read moresystem pop-ups while changing the PebbleTec and never came out to fix their mistake, Nick came out and immediately when I called and saved the day! It was extremely difficult work to chisel out and remove my pop-ups (which were cemented in by the other company) and took 5 visits to completely fix all 19 pop-ups, but Nick had a great attitude and ensured me that he will get my pop-ups working correctly again. I honestly thought that it was hopeless to even try to get the pop-ups working correctly again but Nick pleasantly surprised me. The work was completed without disturbing the new PebbleTec finish. He never gave up on my pool and always seemed very happy to help with pride for his work. He treated my pool with professionalism and competence as if he was working on his own pool. I was referred to Amergency Services from my Mom since Nick is her pool guy and she was very happy with his weekly pool maintenance. A month later I was having problems with my sand filter and once again Nick came out immediately to fix the problem and was extremely knowledgeable and is reasonably priced. If anything happens to my pool or equipment, Nick will be the first person that I will contact for repair!
