Love Pool care does a great job. Both my pools look great. The problem is they overcharge for chemicals and any repair work you may need. The pool guys are great. Love Pool care comes to 2 of my properties each week. Last year a timer broke and they wanted 400 dollars to replace it. The timer cost 20-40 dollars. I told them I would buy it and asked if they can install, They still charged 200 dollars to put in. It took 5 minutes and they were already there doing the pool service. The timer broke again less than a year later and I get another 400 estimate. These guys are crooks! 2 homes with them and 360 in labor for 5 minutes of work when they are already there. It's crazy companies like this think they can take advance of people. Just another greedy scumbag contractor trying to overcharge when they think they can! Love to hate these losers! read more

I'm actually really surprised by all of these bad reviews. While I've never used Love Pool Care for pool service, they have come to our house several times for filter cleanings or to fix our pool vacuum. Most recently, they had to come back twice after fixing our pool vacuum because it stopped working. They never once charged us for those subsequent visits due to it being under warranty for work they did. They were professional and very quick to return to fix it. While I do agree pool service prices may be high (I've gotten quotes from them before, but choose to clean my own pool), I would have no doubts that they would do a fantastic job servicing our pool. Robert our technician is always so professional and goes the extra mile to let me know when he is on his way so I can put the dogs in the house! If only there was a ZERO star. These people came an estimated my pool several years ago. At the time other expenses came up so we decided just have the pool equipment replaced. Even tho I felt ripped off afterwards 2 years later I happened to fall into some money and called and asked if they wanted to update their estimate. They decided to come out and reinspect and estimate again. The salesman shows up 3 hrs late with a shitty attitude telling my wife he's here again. Then proceeds to be a complete jerk about having to return when it was their idea. At this point we called another company that really seemed interested in our $25000 cash and our monthly service. Love pools must be SO busy they can act like complete aholes. I'm sure you can find a more professional company than this to spend your money with. read more

Stay away from this company. I had their guy come out to tell me what pool service would cost and also to replace my filter system. 2 days later they sent me a written estimate. It was twice the amount I was told in person. They added on draining the pool and acid wash which was never discussed and didn't need to be done. I asked why this was added on and the lady said it was just a suggestion. She also sent me anonvoice for monthly service which was 200 a mo th when I was told it would be 140. I inquired about that and she made an adjustment. The new monthly service fee was now 165. Just as other reviews said, this company will nickle and dime you and add things on that do not need to be done. Stay far away from Love pool service. No communication between employees and way to expensive. Not sure how they are still in business. read more

How this place is still in business is beyond me. I called to have them give me an estimate on a fairly substantial equipment repair. The person who set the appointment was great and made me think I was working with a quality organization...and then it went downhill from there. I had a Monday appointment that the tech no called and no showed for. I called Tuesday and was told the tech had my number wrong and that he stopped by my house and nobody was home. Odd given the fact I worked from home the entire day to accommodate his inability to set a specific appointment time. They setup a new appointment for me on Friday of the same week where the guy came out and seemed knowledgeable enough about what needed to be repaired when I compared his comments to my home inspectors comments. He noted the pool needed to be refinished as well and told me that would like to quote that work to give me an idea on what it would be when I was ready to have the work done. I said sure no problem and he left after letting me know he would have the estimate back for both items in 3 business days. We are now a month later and not so much as a phone call has occurred since he wasted both an hour of his time and mine that fine Friday afternoon. Hmmm... not sure what the bad reviews are about. Let me tell you my experience with Mike Love at Love Pools. They have replaced two of my pool pumps with high-efficiency pumps and totally replumbed my whole system and added a second heater for my main pool. They also installed a remote Pentair intelligence system that I can manage from my phone. Their work is good but it is the individual attention and almost immediate response that I get from Mike that tells me he loves and cares about his company. Every time I have a glitch or problem with my system I simply call him or send him a text and he takes the time to respond and usually gets a service person to my house within 48 hours. I don't have any experience with their pool cleaning service but as as far as their installation and pool renovation and knowledge these guys are awesome! read more

They are awful! I don't know if they have bad communication within their company, but we had to ask them to do something more than 3 times before it would actually get done. I had to pay $130 per moth because I didn't have pool cleaner but there was still leaves and debris at the bottom of my pool the same day they cleaned. I have used Love since I moved to Phoenix in 2015. Since day one Mike and the team have been great. I use them for weekly service which frees me up to enjoy the pool but I also use them when our 10 year old pool needs service. Recently we wanted to prepare our pool for summer. We saw a few cracks in the pebble tec and called love. Unfortunately, the cracks were a more serious problem but Love got to work on them right away. they worked their butts off to make sure we had a pool for our guests. They kept me abreast of the day by day happenings and even worked with me when I had an unexpected financial hiccup. I would recommend Love to anyone in need of pool service. They did OK for a while, but then I actually watched our tech a few times and realized they did nothing. Not even empty the skimmer baskets. Also I gave them a credit card on file and they always ran it for huge amounts each month without even discussing price with me. Over $300 to fix a vacuum? I would think I would get a call first. If I could I'd give Zero stars... I made an appointment with these people on Monday 7/07/14 for a quote on a weekly cleaning service. The appointment was for Tuesday 7/08/14 after 3:30pm. Upon arrival to my home, my husband discovered our home had been burglarized. We were ripped off for over $2300 in valuables. What about the pool service appointment? My husband called them to see if they had seen anything while they were here. The receptionist that answered looked through her calendar to discover that there was never an appointment placed even though my email correspondence was on file. I attempted to contact Debbie DeLong from We Love Pool Care, in an attempt to allow her to help me understand why there was an absence of a service technician at my home when I clearly had an appointment. I have received no response. I guess the fact that my home was burglerized the day I was to have a technician from We Love Pool Care and the fact that they knew I had a very friendly dog and that no one was home was purely coincidental. read more

I would give love pool care half a star or no star as a review, I found them to be unreliable and no follow through at all! I asked for a picture of something I was told they provided, three times. Each time they said they were sending it right then, and it never came! Not once. They are supposed to check chemicals every week, not once have they done it. Even their technician bad mouthed them and he works there. They do not go what they say they are gonna do they flat out lie. They even bad mouthed the homeowner. When they were told they needed to add chemicals from another inspector, they never checked levels they added an extra tab in the floater. I am very dissatisfied. It would be nice if we could trust that they at the very least did their minimal job requirements, no one is there to over see their work when there was someone home the technician didn't know they were being watched they did NOT vacuum or brush the pool, they just threw in a fresh chlorine floater and left that's all. Exact same experience as Chris A. Outlined earlier. Contacted the company through the website for a quote for weekly maintenance and a fairly significant spa install. Didn't hear back within a week so called the office. Set up a time within a few days for a technician to come out. Arrived on schedule. Spent about 40 minutes taking measurements and explaining different options for the spa which also involved some pool renovation. He committed to getting back to me the next day with a quote for weekly maintenance and within a week with a quote for the spa. One month later have heard nothing back. I subsequently went with another company. I sent an email to "lovepoolcare" to let them know to forget about working on the quote (right!!!) but didn't even get the courtesy of a response or apology. My recommendation, pass on this company, it's a competitive marketplace, lots of better, hungrier companies out there. read more

This company is a joke. I inquired about having my salt-cell serviced under warranty almost three months ago. The field technicians that came to the residence had no idea what they were doing, and I never got a call back after they left. I called the company back a month after the visit only to be told that it would take time for parts to come in. Two months later I was surprised to get a call back and even set up an appointment to have the tech come out and service the cell (finally). Nope get a call that same day from the tech. He called to say he was not coming out anymore because he does not have the proper equipment on hand. This business seems very unorganized and not very knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. Have had Love help me with my pool for the last 10 days and very happy with their service. They were on time for every appt and Andrew did a very good job letting me know what was needed to get my pool back in shape. He then returned yesterday (on time once again) and acid and chlorine washed the pool. The turned a fair looking pool to one that now looks like new and had taken care of the algae issue that I had. The price was very fair, they did the work on time and as promised and are coming out on Friday and probably once more to make sure everything is still working fine. Could not recommend them more. I had absolutely no idea about pools and have enjoyed learning from various employees I've met along the way plus our regular weekly technician Stan, who patiently explains how it all works (sometimes having to repeat himself when I forget). TERRIBLE!!! They barley do a general cleaning. If you have a salt pool - they NEVER clean the salt build-up in the salt cell. They will send you estimates for work that does NOT need to be done.
