I previously drained my diving pool as it was green. Paid another company to get it back to safe levels of chemicals. Let's just say they poisoned my pool. Drained it again, brought in Orange Tree Pool service. They recommended some sort of chemical wash to get rid of all the chemicals the previous company dumped in. I approved. Absolutely horrendous. Vanessa apparently is speaking for the owner of this business but there is no way a company owner speaks to people the way I was just spoken over and disrespected. This company damaged our property with their carelessness and will not speak with me to make it right. I am appalled that not only do they just send a random man into my backyard without knocking on our door saying it's not our normal guy and not to be alarmed, he also couldn't be bothered to CAREFULLY pull our personal property out of our personal pool, he then didn't care enough to not throw it onto a cactus and pop a $350 inflatable on a holiday weekend, he didn't even care to put it all back in the pool! This woman is a representative of this company that I would never trust around me or my things again and this is still my property as long as I am paying for it, which I am. I am a long term renter and it was MY PERSONAL PROPERTY that was careless any damaged, not the house so refusing to speak to me is insane and childish and unproductive. Absolute classic example of how professionalism, care, and respect are no longer shown and I will no longer allow my money to go to companies like this even if it's through a property manager. This company came out to look at my pool for servicing and noted several costly things they would like to do at the initial servicing. One example was clean the pool filter, even though that was done a few weeks ago and the pool had been continuously maintained. Other times included changing the tires on a working filter for $160 (they cost $18 on Amazon). Came across as a huge money grab before even getting to servicing the pool. Should have realized things were going to be issues with this company when the initial form for servicing was an antiquated pdf with no editable lines and no available link to enter my own payment info. Absolutely horrible experience. I switched to Orange Tree because my previous pool service stopped servicing my area, and I never had an issue with my pool until orange tree stepped in. My pool is cloudy, has algae, and they claim they service and "jump the fence" when the gate is locked. There is zero proof of servicing my pool and when I complain the woman that runs communications is rude. Do not recommend this service to anyone and I moved companies, already seeing an improvement. We are into our 2nd year, 20-something month with Orange Tree Pool Service, the best pool service company we've ever had in the 20 years we've lived here. Ben Slomic who supervises all aspects of our pool is the most responsive, truly dedicated, knowledgable, and caring person we've ever worked with. He treats us like we are the most important customer he has - responds within minutes every single time I have a question or want an opinion, and I go to him frequently, because I respect him so much and know he will always give me the most honest, straightforward answer, whether its concerning Kool deck, or plaster pool refinishing or the physical condition of our pool, etc. And he assigned the BEST young man named Ahmad who comes weekly to clean our pool. Ahmad would never leave even a minuscule piece of lint in our pool, it is crystal clear sparkling every time he leaves it, and he keeps it backwashed and perfectly balanced. He is awesomely awesome. I have yet to be disappointed by their service! In the three years they have been caring for our pool they have kept it spotless, maintained our systems and repairs flawlessly, and have been beyond honest. One time we had a problem and reported it to our homeowners insurance. The person they sent out tried to create a repair scenario that would not have been covered and would have cost us almost 2k. After further consulting with Orange Tree, it cost $12 and 4 minutes, and they gained my business for as long as I have a pool. Lastly, I don't have a rotating parade of pool techs either. Their team must like working there as much as I like having them care for our pool and water feature!! Says a lot. read more

1) Newer comments are negative. This supports the claims of deterioration in the services of this company. The "4 star" overall rating is misleading. 2) Multiple "techs" sent to our home, none of whom were extremely competent. One early one who seemed to have some aptitude and skill quit the company. They seem unable to keep techs and service personnel for very long. If they were able to keep them for a long time that might alleviate the competency issue, but I do not see that they do a good job training their techs anyways. - In support of this comment, our pool was turning green AFTER they performed a filter clean and their ongoing regular maintenance. 3) Owner doesn't speak to customers, it's a bit like the Wicked Witch of the West. He hides behind his GM. Excellent pool service company. I had a different guy doing my pool, for almost 2yrs, he not only turned it green, but he left the backwash going, while we were at work, came home to a 1/2-3/4 empty pool. That was the last straw. I called Orange Tree, Steve the owner met with me that afternoon, provided an estimate for monthly service, as well as fixing the mess my pool was in from previous guy. Jose my new pool guy, showed up 2 days later, (I had to have time to re-fill my pool) & by that evening my pool was turning back to crystal blue. & it's been that way since. Suddenly my expensive sweeper works again, even climbs the walls every night, something it failed miserably at previously! I don't think I have ever seen my pool this blue, & beautiful. Finally getting what I'm paying for, & then some. If you truly want to be maintenance free from pool wrk, just be able to walk out your door & swim, then this is the company that can & will provide it! & they are right with the market as far as pricing. Not a fan. Inherited them when our previous provider sold its business. Latest was a lazy technician who felt it was appropriate to drive onto our landscaping instead of parking on the street. Pool chemical balance issues seem to be ongoing with them; especially with the technician that drove onto the landscaping. Only solution they proposed was to drain the whole pool. Ugh... seems like the industry ebbs and flows with tech's who care, and business owners that value clients. Looking for a new one. This company is very responsive via email but their pool techs are completely incompetent. Tim has left our pool clearly dirty, not turned on our pool after "cleaning," taken our sweeper without any explanation, broken our lights and just not shown up before. When wanting to pause our service, Tim became lazy and sloppy. We will not be returning to this company. read more

Senad the tech is very efficient and though I have done my own filters before, they always get the filter working better than I ever do. Have also had them out to clean my lines of clogged leaves. Have been with Orange Tree for 3-4 years now and have used other companies in the last 10 years. So far, the service from Orange Tree has been the most responsive and satisfying. The technicians and customer support members were always knowledgeable. Their price is also very reasonable. I like how they always leave a note after each service so we know that the pool was serviced without reviewing our cameras. I have been a customer of Orange Tree Pool Service for many years. They have always had excellent service and my pool is always clean and in great condition. They keep me informed when it's time to have the filters cleaned, as well as when repairs on my equipment are needed. My technician Juan is always there on time for my weekly service. I have always had a good experience when I contact Bev with questions about my pool, or any billing related questions. If I could go negative, I would. I was a loyal customer of Orange Tree Pools for several years; until now. While I was out of town the hose in backyard "magically" turned on flooding my yard, patio, etc. Orange Tree Pool Services were the only service provide who accessed my yard during this time but they flatly deny turning it. I also come to find out that the Service Tech had changed without any notification and their service manager (Steve) becomes very rude as soon as you cancel services with them. Now I'm left with clean up, an extremely large water bill and last months pool service bill. Of course, it's their word against mine and I'm sure they will continue to deny it.
