A service man, Tyler, was dispatched the same day we called. He arrived on time and proceeded to track down the problem with our AC. He was efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable and we would have him back any time we need service. Other AC repair places wanted to charge between $100 and $150 just to come to check it out. I would not ever use them again. They definitely ripped me off . I had hot/cold spigots replaced for washer hook up. All it was unscrew old and screw on new ones and was charged $709.00. I would leave a zero star but I'll at least give 1 star for showing up. read more

Recently I had an appt with them and they canceled the appointment and told me I was on the list, mind you I was a long standing customer as they installed both my furnace and air-conditioning systems so I kept a maintenance agreement with them $195.00 a year to date they have only come out to maintenance my air-conditioning so at this point I suppose I can just write off the other half of the agreement as they have not called to reschedule my furnace maintenance for this year to say the least Restano has lost my confidence and a customer. read more

We a needed kitchen faucet replaced. 3 visits by Restano plumbers . Damean, Laura each came on seperate visits to assess and finally install a new faucet provided by a lifetime warranty. We had an the initial 2 visits by Laura to assesss the malfunctioning faucet. Decided to have an outside frost free faucet installed by Laura. Damean performed the installation of the kitchen faucet this week. Both employees were very pleasant, affable and answered all questions . Their work was neat, efficient and of high quality. We are on their tiered service plan which has been beneficial wrt winter service calls for a furnace heating element replacement. Worth the annual fee for service calls. Office staff who answers phones to schedule initial requests and follow up appointments are pleasant and helpful. Have never felt rushed or put off by questions. read more

I was scheduled for a furnace check today. I called to check where I was on the list and was told they tried to contact me Monday n had to cancel. No one called or spoke with me. I was told well there was a power outage. Why not call Tuesday, speak with me, or leave a message. Okay, let's reschedule - I already stayed home today! She said February!!!! Really -I complained - so she said Sunday night- sorry - not Sunday night n I won't be home anyhow. February is ridiculous. Terrible communication from them. After many years, I will be leaving them. I also asked for my money back as this n an AC check were already paid for. Part II Was contacted by owner in email - was told to call - waited on hold until they found someone - told me he was on the phone and would call back (1:15 PM) - It is now 5:51. I want my money back. I'll call again tomorrow. Part III I called today and spoke with someone. He said he will refund my money. I appreciate that. read more

I have a new furnace/air conditioner as of today, all successfully installed by Paul and Jeremy. They were on time, polite, and professional and are employees of Restano, not sub-contractors, which is of huge importance to me. The end price matched my on site estimate from an earlier visit by Perry and total elapsed time was under 6 hours. They showed me how to work the new wifi programmable thermostat, showed me changes to the furnace setup, how to change the filter, where new holes were drilled to the outside and new water drainage. They will come back in the Spring to check the air conditioner installed to ensure it is set up properly. And, they cleaned up everything afterwards. Happy and pleased. read more

We have utilized Restano's Heating and Cooling service for several years, including new boiler and two new AC units. This year, in 2024, we called because we thought our one AC unit needed serviced/maintenance (to be cleaned out) and they sent someone to tell us that it needed to be cleaned (well yes) but they did not have the proper tools with them to do so. That cost us $119.00. They told us that someone would call us to schedule another appt to clean it, which would be an additional $117.00. The original "service fee" that lasted less than 8 minutes was no longer going to be counted towards any service they recommended later. No one called. I called after 3 weeks, they were not "aware" and said they could send someone, but again, an additional $117.00. I will no longer utilize Restano for my HVAC services. It is ridiculous to pay over $236 to clean an AC unit. read more

I had a new furnace and central air installed recently by Restano and they came in substantially less on the price then several other companies for Carrier units. The install was done in one day and they left the place clean. There were a few minor problems, omitting a basement duct and a pinched wire but they came out and corrected them promptly. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone. read more

A friend recommended RESTANO when I needed new A/C a few years ago. They exceeded my expectations. I had the work done in the winter and they called me even before I had a chance to call them to remind them to come in the spring to set the charge. Since then I've had two equipment failures (not due to their work...just stuff gone bad) and both times they came immediately. Today SCOTT (the repairman assigned to me) just left at 8PM on the Fri before Memorial Day weekend. He was here earlier and came back with the part so we'd have A/C for the holiday weekend. These guys are really great. And let it be known that I only met Mr. Restano once (when he bit the A/C price) and have no affiliation or interest other than wanting to share my "you don't find service this good every day" experience. read more
