We also tried the burger, it was not bad (granted this is a poutine place). Staff is quick with the order and it came out hot and fresh. It was a snowy day and we ate in the car, food had to be eaten right away to enjoy it. There's not much seating inside and it gets pretty tight when busy. I would come by again and try other things on their menu if I'm ever around the area.

We enjoyed the chicken sandwich more. The chicken sandwich had a breaded chicken breast, coleslaw, pickles and chicken sauce. We got ours medium spice. It wasn't spicy at all, lol. The chicken was a good thickness and was tender and moist. We enjoyed this more than the cheeseburger. I liked that the bun they use is a plain bun without seeds in it. The buns were soft. The fries were a good portion size. I'm glad we shared one portion. They were hot and crispy and had the skins on. They were regular cut, not skinny, but not too thick. You order at the cash register, pay and they give you your order number. When your food is ready they call out your number and bring it to your table if you're dining in. When you're done, you throw out your own garbage and stack the empty tray on top of the garbage area. Service was pleasant and the food didn't take long. There are seats inside to dine in and also seats on the patio out front. There's a single universal washroom that is wheelchair accessible for the entire restaurant. Prices tend to be on the expensive side especially when buying a prime cut of steak but the meat is top quality, so give them a try. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Also inside is Vera's Burgers. One of the best hamburgers in Ottawa. My buddy Brian and I go there several times a year and enjoy the great food. I'm upset that they stopped selling Coke in the glass bottles. I bought a marinated flank steak that was amazing on the BBQ tonight. They also carry some great sauces, including my favourite Rufus and Teague Blazing Hot sauce. You can buy frozen pies from The Big Apple, which are the best pies around. They have a burger shack inside....sadly I was too early. Some other time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the boss a really good man. This was a great discovery and I will happily drive the 25 km to get there. Very highly recommended.
