We are regulars, so the staff know us by name. We come every week for lunch, and have been here for dinner before so can vouch that both options are consistently excellent. If you're looking for a delicious Italian style restaurant in the green lake area, this is the place to go. It can get pretty busy, crowded, and loud, but there are plenty of tables and has a rotating seasonal menu so there's always something new to try.

My girlfriends and I visited Restaurant Christine on a chilly Monday night. Tucked in a cute storefront in North Wallingford, street parking was readily available. We were seated fairly quickly with a reservation, which I would recommend making, but it was packed inside. We started with the focaccia and yuca appetizers, which were both delicious. Our table ordered a combo of the butternut squash ravioli, mushroom risotto, and artichoke pasta. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, though everything seemed a bit salty. Our server was nice, but the restaurant seemed very laid-back for a more expensive, white tablecloth atmosphere. The service was extremely slow at times. I would plan on spending at least two hours here for dinner.

4.5 This is the cutest little restaurant. Good cozy spot. There was a big party there that was a bit boisterous, but it's a great place for a date. The food was rich and delicious and the prices are comparable with other restaurants in the area.

The food was pretty good, though I'd say the appetizers were better than our mains. The halloumi and focaccia were great. The wine and beer options were also lovely. The service was really good though I think the chef was our first server and then our second server might have gotten confused and forgotten us. Either way we enjoyed our meal and it was a cute spot for a nice dinner. Romantic and intimate vibes. Would come back!

Given the great reviews, I was caught by surprise to find a menu with almost no seafood options. Maybe the catch was light that day? Our choices for seafood were only three: the shrimp po'boy, a crab cake sandwich, and a sockeye salmon special. I went with turned out to be a sadly bland chicken parm, recommended over the fried zucchini by the sole waitress. My mother's crab cake sandwich was far better: crispy and luckily not blended to oblivion. I guess call ahead to ask what the menu looks like, assuming your heart is set on seafood. Street parking was easy to find on a Thursday at lunchtime.

Restaurant Christine is a small, intimate bistro that serves wonderful food. It is on N. 56th, near Green Lake and the Zoo. The interior is spare but elegant with a casual elegance. Outdoor tables are available. The staff are friendly and helpful. My party was there for a late lunch. Everything we had was well crafted, presented and delicious! The prices were very reasonable. The wine list is heavy on domestic wines, but very nice. I look forward to seeing what they offer on the dinner menu!

A great local restaurant with good food and service! Prices are a little on the pricey side, but the quality and taste definitely make every penny worth it. They also have free street parking nearby, which is a win for Seattle! We came in on a Thursday night so it wasn't too busy and although there is one server for the entire restaurant, she was friendly and efficient. The owner/chef and a sous chef were the only ones in the kitchen, so food does take a while but neither of us minded. We tried a summer special - chilled berry soup, which was interesting. It didn't quite fit my flavor profile but I appreciated how sweet and fresh the berries were and the deep flavor of tarragon. The main star of the night was definitely the lobster ravioli, which came in a tomato sauce, topped with grilled zucchini and lump crabmeat. For dessert, we got a limoncello cake and panna cotta with marionberries. All in all, I highly recommend, especially because it is a local small business and also because their food is delicious!

A very cute little restaurant in the Greenlake/Wallingford neighborhood. It is walking distance from Greenlake. This is very cute restaurant for a casual lunch or a nice date night dinner. We got one of the sandwiches and it was very good. We would come back and get a burger any day. We especially loved the fries. We were sad that we didn't decide to get the truffle fries. That is next on our list. I was disappointed by my dish with the chicken and asparagus. I personally did not like the flavor profile of this dish. It tasted and felt oversaturated with the gravy/sauce that it was in. It felt like it lacked another ingredient. The waitress was very kind and gave us plenty of time to make our order. We will be back for the truffle fries!

I visited this place for lunch. Great vibe and excellent food! Plus it's close to my neighborhood so the walk was pleasant.

Food was average. Service was great. Cute spot, but risotto was bland, shrimp was undercooked, and chicken wasn't crispy. Just ok

When we arrived, the restaurant was clean and had a cool New York café feel -- basically your classic greasy-spoon-style breakfast spot. There was plenty of seating and no wait on a Thursday around 10:00 AM. My wife ordered the Homestyle Plate, which came with two pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I ordered the Ham Scram with egg whites and added mushrooms. There was a $3 upcharge for egg whites, which would have been nice to know when ordering. I also had a hot chocolate for $5.50. Overall, the breakfast was okay -- nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out or that I'd write home about. The staff was friendly, and our waiter was funny and personable, which made the experience enjoyable. The biggest downside was the price. Breakfast for two, including tip, came to $68.44, which felt pretty expensive for a basic café-style breakfast. Overall: good service, clean restaurant, plenty of seating, average breakfast, but on the pricey side.

I finally had the pleasure of dining in as there was a concert nearby and this one of the only places that would be open afterwards. We arrived 40-ish minutes before they closed and it was still busy in the restaurant with bar full of patrons and half of the restaurant had tables filled. The restaurant itself was gorgeous as it was dim but they had hundreds of candles on shelves as well as lamps throughout the restaurant. There was booth seating, bar seating and more. My boyfriend and I arrived and waited a few minutes before we were seated and handed menus. Our waiter on Saturday (8/8) was not only professional but hilarious. We ordered a strawberry lemonade for the two of us, a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger with bacon for him and I got their seafood gumbo entree and a side of their cheesy grits. We got our food and the portions here are huge. The food was immaculate. My boyfriend said this was probably one of the best fried chicken burgers he had ever had and that the bacon portion was more than any other place has given him. I was very happy with the gumbo and the cheesy grits were so good, it had a puree/whipped potatoes consistency which was delightful. The strawberry lemonade was tart and sweet with the right amount of strawberry flavor. Definitely want to come back to try more of their menu as they have quite the extensive menu and a brunch menu as well!

We made a reservation, but realized it was happy hour which is only in the bar. The hostess was nice, and got us a table in the bar when we inquired. The downside, honestly, is the ridiculous menu!!! I always have a tough time picking what to eat, but where there are 100 options, it really stresses me out! lol the happy hour is also very extensive. This isn't probably an issue for the average person- look ahead if it is. We ordered oysters on HH (amazing deal!), fried green tomatoes (ehh), gumbo (very good), fries (good), and Brussels (not bad, but I didn't like the sauce). We also ordered wine and a Mexican mule. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try out. I'll absolutely be back to more things!
