Would highly recommend! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cozy atmosphere & appreciated the attention to detail in everything from the food to the service to the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love that they have a rotating menu & a wide selection of wine, as well as non alcoholic drinks.

Great place to get American food! I love their service and the vibe. My favorite was the cod but everything was great! The duo was really good too. I'd come back!

Came for a dinner with girlfriends. Thankfully I made a reservation ahead of time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very small place and pretty busy. It's noisy, tables are small and cramped.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The host and server were friendly and welcoming. Their menu is different and unique. It rotates often because they are using fresh, in season produce. So pro tips: take a pic of the menu the day you come because it changes. I can tell that there is a lot of thought and skill put into the dishes. Vegetarian/vegan friendly. Sadly, the ingredients are so uncommon that I can't remember what was what. I remember being underwhelmed by the crepes and the fitters. The crepes were just boring. The fritters were with shrimp I think, not what I expected, but the accompanying sauce and pickled onions were delicious. The roasted vegetables were delicious, especially the cauliflower, it had an incredible smoky flavor. My favorite was puntarelle chicory, celery and fennel salad. Nothing I have ever had before and I wouldn't have tried it if the server didn't make the recommendation. The flavors were so good, and just well balanced. Lastly, the black cod...cooked so well, melts in your mouth. The green puree was very mild and light. I would have liked more flavor but that may be just a personal preference. I would come back again :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If I could give six stars I would!!! I love this place so much. This restaurant was literally made for me. It is dreamy. It's a small restaurant inside a wine shop. It is homey and simple, yet elevated. Perfect for a little celebration or date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Excellent service with great people working here and they give stellar recommendations. The amazing food though is why this place gets my stars. The menu had lots of delicious and elevated vegetarian dishes that were all so flavorful and downright delicious. For those who want to indulge but are also trying to be more plant-based and health/environmentally conscious, look no further (they also have seafood and meat options for you carnivores out there!). You leave here feeling full and happy, not gross. Super awesome too because all the ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal, which also explains their weekly rotating menu. Wine and drinks were also solid. Highly recommend sharing a bunch of different small plates when you come here. Just make sure you text to make a reservation in advance as it's small and the place fills up quickly (and for good reason!)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute and whimsical restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was lovely and they had some great recommendations. I was mainly interested due to the extensive NA options. I got a rosemary and elderflower mocktail. It was very refreshing a perfect finisher for a night. I shared a dessert with a friend and the clafoutis was perfect. Perfectly sweet cherries in a flan like cake with a side of sweetened whipped cream was a perfect combo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got to sit at the outdoor area and the night was perfect with the slight breeze.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back to try the food! The menu also changes a lot but looks pretty seasonal!

I was in Seattle for a conference, and I was so fortunate to be included in a group going out to dinner with a local who recommended this restaurant. This was simply a fantastic dining experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Three Sacks Full was a quiet and cozy environment and I felt like I was in somebody's home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was quiet and easy to have conversation, and we had absolutely amazing service. Items on the menu are sourced from local places and the menu items reportedly change frequently. There were so many amazing options and combinations, and it was definitely a very easy place to eat for a vegetarian. There were five of us, and we just decided to share a variety of items on the menu. Some of the highlights for us included the incredible homemade country sourdough bread, that came with the most delicious butter and olive oil. We couldn't get enough of this bread and ended up ordering three servings! We especially loved the puntarelle salad with roasted beets. The horseradish in this salad was simply the best. The leeks vinaigrette salad with pear, shaved fennel and pickled serranos was such a delicious and unique combination. Another highlight was the cornmeal spoon bread, which we all felt was the perfect comfort food. We decided to share the grilled pork chop that were accompanied by a perfectly spiced red lentil side dish. We paired all of these foods with a local Oregon wine. Matthew, who I think was the owner, opened the wine for us and told us the backstory of where it was from. We ended with all three desserts from the menu and we especially loved the quince torte with whipped cream. This was the most perfect place to have an amazing intimate meal with friends with locally sourced delicious and unique food combinations. This was hands-down my best meal in Seattle.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A small, cozy local restaurant with a seasonal menu, innovative flavors, and an extensive wine list.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great spot for a date night, or just a nice place for dinner if you want to try fun dishes and chat over wine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed most of our dishes, but giving this a 4/5 because some were misses. My favorite was the fritters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I'm definitely eager to come back and try more items, as the ever-changing menu is exciting and the restaurant is so cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love coming to this charming restaurant ! It's small and intimate, perfect for any occasion[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The owner and chef take such care and pride in their menu. I like to pop in and sit at the bar, have a glass of wine and try an interesting dish. I don't think I've ever had the same thing twice. Their menu changes often and is part of their charm. The dishes are so unique and always delicious! I would recommend a reservation if you plan to go at a peak time. I popped in around 4:30pm and got in easily. I overheard they were fully booked that night starting at 6pm. Highly recommend this place for a romantic night out for a date, friend or treating yourself! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fun experience and reminds me of being in Europe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're looking for a delicious farm to table meal, look no further! Matthew and his Team are making delectable creations with locally sourced ingredients. The ambience is warm and thoughtful, just like the greeting we received upon our arrival. We enjoyed a few dishes, one of which Matthew suggested. Portions were generous and filling, each bite filled with thoughtful savory flavors.. Such a yummy experience, we will most definitely be back for more.

Second time visiting here, it was much busier than the first time I went - and for good reason. For me, the highlight of Three Sacks Full is the rotating and highly creative vegetable-leaning menu. The first time I went, I tried nettles for the first time. This time around, they had maple blossom fritters on the menu, also a first. And I had already ordered too much, but was intrigued to try the fiddlehead ferns in a salad. All of the food has been creative, exceptionally tasty, and presented well. The ambiance keeps up, with it being a small space yet never feeling too crowded. If you are into wine, they have a well curated selection available at reasonable prices, and it seems they also do tastings on a monthly (perhaps more often?) basis. Overall, a wonderful place to have open up in the Roosevelt neighborhood.

Roast chicken and some fun things for my fish tanks from aquarium zen next door

What a gem. I have rarely walked into a restaurant and wanted to order everything on the menu. I ended up choosing the roast chicken and maybe it's just me that will appreciate this so thoroughly but they aren't using onion and garlic as a crutch to develop rich complex flavor. They're using fermentation and amazing unique ingredients like celeriac. So if you're onion and garlic challenged like I am, you can thoroughly enjoy a meal out and drive home without popping half a bottle of tums. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amience also very suitable for conversation. Great date place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

On a Saturday evening, we waited in line about 20 minutes and then were able to order and be sat. All the staff was very friendly. We tried the smoked salmon dip with chips, the fried chicken sandwich and the the black cod kasusuke. The crab rolls were sold out by the time we got there or we definitely would have tried those. The salmon dip was good, lots of dill, and the chips were crispy. The fried fish sandwich was light, which was nice for something fried, and the roll it was on was soft and warm. The black cod kasusuke was my favorite dish of the meal. The black cod was tender and fell apart, and it was seasoned so nice. It came with a spinach salad and rice which was also delicious. If I could give half stars, this would be pushing a 4.5. Nothing blew me away, but everything was fresh and enjoyable!

The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. One thing to note is that they don't really have a dedicated kids' menu. The service was friendly, attentive, and surprisingly quick. The restaurant was completely full on a weekday at 7 PM, which says a lot about how popular it is, yet the staff still kept everything running smoothly. A helpful tip: don't pay for parking right away. The restaurant offers discounted parking--just scan their discount code at the entrance first. The staff, on a busy summer evening, seemed personally offended that we were there. The host sat us at a wet table, when I asked if they could dry it, the drying process came with an attitude. I specifically noticed that the host was busy, and wanting to be overly gracious, I thanked them for returning to dry the table three times, and was ignored - no "You're welcome" or "No worries" or anything, just dry the table with an attitude and rush off. Drinks, also delivered by the host, were dropped off with an attitude at the end of the table - "Here you go," as they sat them down - not asking which one of you had this or that - just "Here you go" and then away. The server, at first also seemed a little rude, no pleasantries - just "What can I get you." No "Hello, welcome in" The server got better with time. We appreciated the character arc. The food was fine. Our appetizer arrived after our entrées, which was a choice. (It was olives. We're still not sure what they needed more time to do.) No one checked on our drinks or asked how everything was tasting, so we'll never know if they cared.

The depth of flavor and uniqueness of each dish was incredible. Cocktails: I got the Carajillo Frosty. This was WAY too strong to where I could hardly taste anything but the alcohol. It sounded like a fun drink, but I was tipsy before our first dish arrived and I didn't even finish the drink. Oyster Shooters- Cool concept, not great execution. If we are adding fun things like Mezcal and Jalapeno vinegar I was thinking something magical would happen in my mouth. Instead, my tastebuds were seared and my stomach was questioning if it would keep everything down. This is a hard pass. Oysters: They go from sweetest to most briny on the menu. So we got top two sweetest, followed by two in the middle and the last two. It was fun because we were really able to tell a difference in taste this way. I found out Im a sweeter oyster gal while my husband enjoyed the brinier one. With our oysters we got a glass of the NV Azimut Cava Brut Nature-excellent with all of the oysters! We will get this glass again. Next, clams. This is a MUST GET! The broth was outstanding and a different vibe from your typical "clams in white wine broth". Next, Pork Belly. I usually love Pork Belly, and this was mentioned as a must try a lot in the reviews, so that's why we got it. But the Pork Belly is definitely Pork Belly-ing here. Super rich (normal), and the accompanying flavors were strong and also fatty. It was a little heavy for us on this night. Great option if you don't like seafood, but if you do, go for the Halibut instead. We had a couple next to us who got the Halibut and I could smell that we missed out on that dish. So I would highly recommend you get the Halibut (even though we never tried it. I can just tell it's amazing). Dessert was Spiced Chocolate Pot De Creme. Again, fantastic! I honestly wasn't expecting this to be so good but the chef hit it out of the park. Really this review is more so I can remember what I got and liked/didn't like and can order the winners again. We went on Father's Day Sunday to celebrate my husband with our 2 year old. The server also gave us 1 menu and stated " it was their only one", which what? Really? Anyway, we decided not to make it a big deal, and made the best of it, but we were disappointed to see that the menu is very limited, and overly priced. The servers acted like they didn't want to be at work, we even observed a customer adding a last minute order when she received her check, watched the server make a face and then walk away, under her breath making eye contact with another coworker and said " Oh my God!". We were astonished to see the lack of professionalism of this establishment. They also charge for additional condiments, $4/ 1/2 oz of ketchup. Apparently there is a mandatory 22% gratuity charge with your bill, so maybe that is why the service is mediocre to poor, as they don't care about their attitude, they know they're getting a tip anyway. And it only got better from that. Our waitress Quinn was so wonderful giving us plenty of time to select our dining options along with some wonderful suggestions. She recommended the risotto bites with lobster and they were, without a doubt, the best arancini I've ever had. I wasn't hungry but they were so great, I finished them off anyway. The stuffed salmon was phenomenal and the roasted potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly with a slight char on them. Everything we had was top notch and if Yelp had half stars, I would have given them 4.5 stars. And Quinn, if she's available, ask for her. She's one of the best waitresses, I've ever had being both personable and informative. Well done Quinn and Duke's. I'll be back before summer is gone.
