I probably drove by this place 1000 times and only recently realized it's a restaurant! We decided to check it out one afternoon when we had a hankering for some tacos. The place has a small dining room in the more prominent drive-through area. They've got the standard offerings of tacos, burritos and sopes. The day we stopped by, we were just grabbing a number of different tacos, and by the time we had tasted everything we decided we would definitely be going back there were seven or eight different types of tacos, all of which were very good. Interestingly, the chicken was one of the best, and the Carnitas was a close second. The birria tacos were something new, and were phenomenal as well! The tacos were something like two dollars each, but more larger than many at other places, and the flavors were just magnificent! The folks working here we're all very nice, and despite it taking a bit for our Baker's dozen tacos, it was worth the wait. This adds to the ever growing number of awesome Mexican places in the valley, and continues to cement in my mind, the Yakima is one of the best places in the country for Mexican food - come try our spots out, and try to prove me otherwise! read more

The consistency has never failed us and they always remember us when we come in! Gave this place 5 stars to offset the person who gave it one star because her boyfriend bit into a bone. I'm not saying that should happen but, if you order Mexican style chicken there is always the possibility. Get carne asada next time. read more

The chicharrón and shrimp tacos are 12/10 always leave me wanting more. Unlike other places this shop actually uses chicharrón that taste fresh and not like pork rinds. The shrimp here is also battered so that adds a nice texture to the taco. THESE TACOS ARE BONELESS BY THE WAY, sorry didn't know I had to clarify lol read more

I truly wish I could give this place zero stars. My boyfriend was eating his taco and bit into a bone. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that's not right. Moral of the story I won't be returning ever again and I'll start ordering my tacos boneless - said no one ever... needless to say I wouldn't eat here for all we know it could've been cat that we just ingested. read more

It's a small but comfortable restaurant, their Mexican food is always made fresh and tastes great. I highly recommend the tacos and tortas sold there. They also great have service, the last time my boyfriend and I went there we were able to add and subtract things to our orders no problem. The only down side to this place is that run out of horchata later in the day. read more

This hidden gem is so close to my home it's no wonder I became a regular. I have yet to have a menu item that I did not like. They have a great crew of ladies that greet you with a smile every time. This is your abuelita in the kitchen and I she makes sure it's fresh, hot and tasty. Yes, it takes a little longer to get your food...this is NOT Taco Bell! Call your order in ahead. The combo plates adding rice and beans to selected menu items are the way to go. The ONLY thing missing is carnitas, but the adobada is an excellent porky stand in. The salsas....oh the salsas!!! So good, so fresh, so caliente! They also have a decent selection of cold beer and even serve it michelada style. The place may be small with a couple tables inside, but the dining area addition is cozy and welcoming. I prefer places like this over corporate food service. It may not always be perfect, but your patronage is appreciated more at a small business like this. Give these ladies a try sometime. It's worth the wait! read more

This is probably the nastiest Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! If I could I would give it no stars. So we gave this place a try on Sunday morning because we heard they had good menudo. We placed a to go order. When I got there to pick it up I thought this place looks rundown, like an old shack but what the hell the food smelled good and they had clients so my thoughts were it can't be that bad. When I got home and started to eat I found hair after hair in my menudo. It looked like hair from a mans beard or like if someone had got a hair cut didn't shower and decided to make menudo. F@#king nasty!!! I found 10 to 15 in my plate. When we went to take the menudo back to let them know the ladies there had no sense of what customer service is, and basically said we were lying and didn't care. They didn't even give me my money back. Never again will I even think about going to this place!!! And unless you want menudo peludo (hairy menudo) I suggest you keep away. I used to love this place but the quality has went down as they built there fame. Got a burnt torta once gave them a second chance and I won't go back cause they get so busy and forgot to put avocado in the tortas I ordered. Customer service even went down! read more
