It's a small place, but so so worth it. It's delicious authentic and family owned. They have a lot of variety on the menu so there is something for everyone. We came for breakfast and wet w a big group and they accommodated us well. Everyone was nice and helpful and the food came out super quick! Come give it a try!

It's been a while but I think we got Caldo de res and a rib-esq beef and poblano fajita dish

We had a fantastic time (back in June but I knew I wanted to give a review!) the food was so delicious. I liked that the michelada was served with the beer separate so you got the whole beer and could adjust it to the strength with the flavoring you liked. and it was so awesome that they even had (really good) live music (singing)! We went on a Saturday night. We don't live nearby but I'd love to go again!! Very kind service as well!

Best Mexican spot, a place that makes you feel welcomed when you walk in. Service was great portions even better. Margaritas on point

Always amazing! Service is quick and customer service attentive. We've tried many different dishes and they always feels home cooked!

Agave a lot of my money to various Mexican restaurants over the years. I'm glad this is one of them. Los Agaves is one of the better Mexican restaurants in town. Everything here is delicious and there's a huge portion of the menu that's authentic and terrific for those from Mexico or who want to eat actual Mexican food the way the Mexicans do in Mexico. It's not expensive in Texas to eat good Mexican food, and here is no exception, where a lot of the menu is dirt cheap and nothing short of delicious. Amazing place, and you can consider us regular customers from now until further notice.

Excellent food and service! So glad we decided to drop by on an early Saturday dinner. Love the variety of combo plates. The a la charra bean soup is tasty with bits of smoked sausage. Beef is nice and charred and fresh tasing tortillas seal the deal. It's your perfect neighborhood TexMex place, and yes, the chips and green and red salsas are yummy.

Came here for HH on a Friday afternoon & we were seated immediately. Small Margaritas were only 2.50! Our food was yummy, nothing super special but it had good flavor. Our service was amazing! Everyone was super friendly & accommodating. I loved the energy in this place! In total for about 4 margs, 2 entres & dessert it was a total of $48. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3 to 7pm.

Quesadilla with rajas

The food here is classic. They serve you with chips red and green salsa and also pickled veggies while you wait. They have a combination of tex-mex and Mexican dishes. I ordered the quesadilla with rajas and it was really good. The veggies in it were seasoned really well! It was a mixture of poblano or maybe jalapeño, tomato, and onions. My husband had the al pastor, tripas, and bistec. He said the flavors were reminiscent of Mexico. I would have loved to try more food, but I wasn't that hungry today.. I'll leave that for next time!

This place is one of my favorite taquerias! They have the best salsa and their carne guisada tacos were so good that I've been craving them since I came here. Fast service, affordable prices, and a very clean place, definitely give them a try!!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

It was my first time trying out Tex mex style. It was so busy on a Saturday evening. The chips that were given to each table was incredibly warm and the sauces paired so well. That tamale was amazing. I would get several orders of that soft white tamale by itself to go. And the service was a 10/10. Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.

We ordered the breakfast burrito and the duck carnitas. We added barbacoa to the burrito, and it was honestly the definition of comfort food. It was EXTREMELY greasy though, so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. If I had been home alone... I probably would've just shoved the whole thing in my mouth. I couldn't not order the duck carnitas. It came on a sope, which is basically my definition of the perfect Mexican brunch. It was really yummy, and I especially loved the salsa that came with it. My only real critique is that the portions felt a little on the smaller side. Either bump them up a bit or add a small side, because I definitely could've eaten a little more.
