Chicken Mole Enchiladas! Perfection!

Our server was very friendly with just the right amount of attentiveness. I ordered the Chicken Mole Enchiladas which is one of my favorite dishes and it was excellent! The sweet with spicy was perfect! Very similar to my own Great Grandmother's recipe. So Thank You Los Amigos! So hard to find the flavor of Mexican food my family prefers to eat (in this area). My husband ordered the shrimp tacos and he was very happy the taste and portions. We are from Texas where Mexican food is abundant but are here in the CO and WY area often and are so happy to have this gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and restaurant was cute and having optional outdoor seating is great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chile Relleno Burrito was very good

Introduction: I can't afford to spend the night in Steamboat, but still wanted to ski nonetheless. Found a cheap hotel in Kremmling, and picked to eat here. The good: Not too shabby! First let's start with the good. I got the Chile relleno burrito and it was superb. And it came out pretty quick, and was very big! Also my waitress was very nice. The not-so-good: I was given the wrong check after the meal which was quickly corrected, but I have been burned on this before at other places! Also it took a while to get my beverages. One of the chips in my basket was not fully cooked and kinda rubbery. Now... I like it that way but normal people don't haha so I'll knock off a few points there. Conclusion: Look, it's a Mexican joint in a town of 1,500 people. If you are stopping in Kremmling for some reason, this is a great place to go.

Stopped here Saturday after a long day hiking out by Yampa and the food was excellent. If I'm ever back that way again I will definitely make a stop. My friend got the carnitas tacos as well and she said they were also really good.

Chicken fajita burrito. So tasty!

After tagging along on a survey job with the BF we were all getting pretty hungry. We asked the guy working at the Kremmling FBO where would be good to grab a bite and he sent us to Los Amigos. It was early afternoon when we got here and there were maybe four other patrons in the restaurant. After browsing the menu that featured your usual Mexican restaurant staples I chose to nosh on the chicken fajita burrito. It was delicious! Such great flavor! The service was slower than we expected, but that wasn't an issue since we weren't in a hurry. Our server kept us well supplied with chips, salsa, and bean dip to curb our appetites while we waited. All in all a decent experience and I'd be back if I were in the area.

We ordered Fajitas to go. The food was bland and it was expensive. The Fajita meet was tough and it did not seem to have been marinated.

Super friendly crew and truly scrumptious Mexican food! Happened upon it on the way to Steamboat and am glad I stopped.

Disappointing customer service…read more I stopped by for lunch with my medically trained service dog. I was told dogs were not allowed. I clarified that my dog was a service dog and that I would sit outside. After I said that, I was met with what felt like a cold response and was simply told, "ok." After I sat outside, the same server approached and said, "We don't allow dogs on the patio either." For a second time, I explained that my dog was not a pet but a service dog. The server then responded with something along the lines of, "If it really is, that's ok." At that point, I decided not to eat at the restaurant. I mentioned that refusing service to someone because of a service dog is illegal. The server responded that he did not hear me say my dog was a service dog earlier, which was confusing because we had already gone back and forth about it. A man claiming to be the owner then came out and did not seem concerned about the situation or interested in addressing the issue, only concerned about the dog. He repeated that the server didn't hear me which I find extremely hard to believe due to the back-and-forth exchange and cold response initially when mentioning the dog is a service dog.

This is a great find! The servings are huge and the service is top of the line. Plus the burrito…read morewas fantastic. We chose to share one(me and the better half), but it still filled me up. I also ordered the horchata which was one of the best I've had! Again, super big and shareable. Throw in some queso dip with the complimentary nachos and you will be set! Or just order the choices you prefer and I'm sure it will be good. The place had a calm and peaceful ambiance. Nothing too loud and we enjoyed good conversation over a meal.

You head to the back counter where you place your food order, and then you can head over to a table to sit and wait for the food to be ready. Once its ready, you head up to the counter to collect your food. The restaurant portion is real cute. They have some colorful tables and chairs which give it a nice Mexico vibe. Once you get your food, you can head over to the salsa bar and add all the additional toppings your heart desires. They have all kinds of sauces from spicy to mild and even have jalapenos and sliced radishes. I got an asada taco and a barbacoa taco and they were both delicious. But my favorite was the barbacoa. It had so much flavor and it was so juicy. I also got an horchata and it was perfect. One of the best I've had! The grocery side itself offers a huge variety of goodies you can find in Mexico including candy which is always what I look for!

The other half of the place is the restaurant. It's more like a small cafe which delivers authentic vibes but very humble. Food was amazing. We had their tacos and I had the burrito which was huge and packed with beef, rice, beans and guacamole. I had it with the loaded sauce on top. So basically you order your food and pick up once you're called. We tried their horchata and it was so delicious. Just the right touch of sweetness. Definitely a hidden gem but remember I rated this for their food and service. This is a humble authentic place.
