House music played in the background of the restaurant for the duration of our meal. I ordered the Negroni Sour to drink and the tempura to eat. The Negroni Sour was on par with others that I have sampled. The tempura was beautifully presented and tasted exquisite, and I was almost disappointed that there was not more to eat. Overall, I had an exemplary time at Pauli and would highly recommend them for dinner in Vienna.

The servers warmed up a bit once we engaged them a bit more regarding the wine pairings. The food was good, but I was expecting much better considering its status as a Michelin star restaurant. Also considering the price point being the same as another higher rated Michelin star restaurant in Vienna, it was hard not to compare, and Apron fell short for me.
