Servers and guests greeted each other with affection and familiarity. I scanned the menu and noted a few items that I loved from the previous menu. Roast duck. Pork belly. Chef Milos' mushroom soup. However, they now serve a Sunday special, prime rib, a weakness of mine, so I went with that. There's something special about a roast on Sunday, which reminds me of my childhood. To start, I had Caesar salad and Ahi Tuna tartare, cubes of tuna atop a seaweed salad, and wonton crisps. Regrettably, I forgot to ask for anchovies on my salad. However, both were good. The prime rib was slightly over-seasoned and served with creamy mashed potatoes that's even better than mine (okay, Joel Robuchon's mashed potato recipe).
